Thanks for the Video. I have 2018 Malibu. It starts and dies in a few seconds. No Immo or BCM codes but 3 PCM Codes. One of which is P06DA and P171A. Thinking of replacing the oil pressure switch to start from least cost.

What about the TSB for sensor. I did a "14" Grand Caravan. I looked up the code and the TSB popped up. It says something about updated sensor. It's been a year or so since I've done it.

I got both a P1057 for the VVL Solenoid and P06DA for a Promaster. Do they share a wire harness that could be causing them to be related?

Most of the time some one jabs a multi meter lead in the connectors and spread the pins instead of back probing with a load on to get accurate voltage

I have a P0523 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor / Switch High. This happened shortly after changing the oil pump. Before changing the pump it had the P06DD Low Oil Pressure. It also was going into limp mode. It had a bad solenoid on the side of the transmission. That was replaced and so far, it shifts fine. However, if the RPMs go past 3,000 the P0523 code sets. It had a new oil pressure sensor installed last year and had been ok for a short time. Do you have any idea what else could be wrong? The wiring harness has been checked and is fine. This is on a 2012 Caravan 3.6L that has had the 2014 upgrade oil cooler installed about 2 years ago. I have the 2014 oil filter in it, but we are stumped.

Great video! I am wondering if the oil control valve not fully tightened to the spec would cause this? I changed the camshaft and then had this code. I replaced the sensor but still had this code. I am thinking of replace oil pump, but want to roll out any possible issues. Thanks! Looking forward to your replies. Any suggestions are truly appreciated!

What about P06dd? I can’t afford to have it fixed at a shop, i’ve done some previous work on my jeep so I’m gonna attempt it. I’ve searched for hour and can’t find a straight answer about what to replace.

I had the p06da code. 2 mechanics told me no big deal switch the sensor they go bad it’s probably the sensor. Never got it taken care of and finally years later changed it.

What program are you using with your computer

You can watch the oil pressure on the scanner.

Literally only dodge and Chryslers have this dumb problem lol so frustrating why do people keep buying these cars and trucks. Also the headers on all dodge ram trucks tick due to cheap header bolts lol
