I suffered from a stroke one year ago at the end of June, lying here in a hospital bed at a health care center. Hoping he can return to singing. I can't choose a favorite song, I love them all.
I remember when "country" music was really turning into pop.... Then Randy came around and jerked the REAL country back into the forefront. He is STILL my favorite country male singer...
I use to think he sounded like George Jones. After listening closely, I could hear the difference. No show jones is number one with me. Randy is running a close second.
My younger brother had a massive stroke back in june 2019 and doctors were putting pressure on me to pull the plug and refused. he was in a coma and on life support for 2 months. He woke up, had his trach tube removed and continues to make a great recovery. He still has a long way to go. I watch Randy Travis's videos on his recovery from his stroke all the time for inspiration and that helps me never give up on my brother.

Randy Travis is one of my all time favorites! I wondered for years what happened to him. Take care of yourself Randy! Some of us folks out here still love you!
I love Randy Travis! I always have and i always will! He never sang a song I didn't like but my new favorite after this video is "Amazing Grace"! Love you Randy and your beautiful bride Mary! God Bless!
HA HA HA....that is funny since she is the reason for his declining health, and financial problems. She was the reason for him and his first wife’s divorce. He had an affair with Mary, and when Lib found out, by planting a camera in his RV, she filed for divorce. Lib kept him from serving a 5 year prison sentence, and she managed his career from the get go. Randy had been 19 years SOBER, until he got with Mary. She became his party partner, getting him back into booze and drugs. She definitely did everything she could to keep him alive in 2013 because she was NOT his wife, and would had to have fought, in court, for the 10 million dollar life insurance policy! Being that she was the ex-wife of Randy’s DENTIST, she did not have the money for the fight. I LOVE Randy Travis, and I have since the first time I heard him, but you can lay his failing health at Mary’s feet!! Booze is bad, but when you add the Cocaine.....you get cardiomyopathy and strokes!!!
@@GodGunsGutsandNRA : So do you always blame the woman for a grown man's decisions? You don't think Randy knew what he was doing, going back to drinking and drugging? Or did she tie him up, hold him down, and force it down his throat? If your opinion is correct, why didn't Mary just flat out kill him for the insurance money and be done with it? I haven't heard anyone take away a man's responsibility for the choices he makes until your very immature response. Everyone has to grow up and take responsibility for themselves, or they end up killing THEMSELVES. I"m sure the NRA would be happy to back you up, but I doubt God will.

Beautiful beautiful voice, I’ve always thought. No matter if it’s a fun song or a more serious one. I want country gospel played at “my wake”. I’ve made out a list so my grandson won’t have a hard time - Randy T is 2nd on my list. Nothing bad meant by that, Elvis is first.
I wouldn't say that he "is" country music, but i can certainly say he is one of the many artist that helped define country and helped shaped country music.
When I think of Randy, I think of my mom...he was one of her all-time favorite country artists, along with Vince Gill and John Anderson. She passed away back in December 2008...love and miss you, mom.
I appreciate Randy Travis so much. I saw him and I saw him. He treated the people who came for autographs after a concert with such respect. He seem to be grateful we came to hear him. Not all the people from concerts had that attitude. Thank you Randy for all the great concerts you gave. Your fan, MISS SUNNY

Randy still has the ability to entertain. He'll just have to do it a different way . I'm sure there has to be a movie/tv part he could do . Plus I'm sure he could have some say on songwriting etc. It just takes getting the right people who aren't out to use him to work with him . Lord knows I would pay just to spend time to talk to him for advise . Long ago I got to see him open up for Conway Twitty . My grandmother who mostly listen to Christian music would always stop and listen to Randy if he came on tv. She always said I like that young man . I don't know how but it always felt like my grandmother had a hotline to God when she was alive. If she was here today her advise to Randy would be give it to God and let it go. Never give up Randy there's a reason why God has you here ! Love from N.C.

I wish Randy the best and his wife the best! Thanks for posting this video!
Randy's voice always leaves me with wonderful memories of my dad he passed when I was 10 in 1993 and my dad loved his music
He and his music were such a big part of my 20's, my being a newlywed, a young mother. My daughter and I would just belt out those songs with Randy on the radio!! I have so many memories of those days!! My heart is so full of love for this man! I have the book read it from cover to cover in 2 days. I will always love Randy Travis... forever and ever, Amen !!
I had stroke 4 years ago this August, I lost my speech too. God has a plan for Randy. 🙏🏻
Jeff Gamel so sorry. Hope you are improving.
BubbaTheBulldog thank you!
Jeff Gamel praying for you 🙏Hope you improve every day and get your speech back and full health.Amen
RoC R thank you for your prayers!
Yeah but your speech ain't worth as much as his is.
The country music association really needs to take care of this Talented Young Man! He gave his life to entertain the fans and make music row record companies rich and now its time to payback!!
He was compensated for every note. No one owes his a thing.

"I Told You So" that is such a soulful song. I love that song. But I think it's his voice. So pure. Love you Randy. God bless you both.
I had my grand daughter in the car with me picking her up every day & I played Randy's cassette the first one he made Digin Up Bones. & she started to want it on & & she sang every word at 4 yrs old. She still a fan at 35.

Hello Donna how are you doing!!
I suffered from a stroke one year ago at the end of June, lying here in a hospital bed at a health care center.
Hoping he can return to singing.
I can't choose a favorite song, I love them all.
My favorite artist of all time!!! Love Randy his voice is heavenly!!
I love Randy Travis, his voice is pure country, and he is a true survivor. God Bless him and his precious wife.
Randy is still sooooo good looking , and has that great hair and laugh!
You hang in there Randy.
We love you!!
Hello Susie how are you doing!!
I remember when "country" music was really turning into pop.... Then Randy came around and jerked the REAL country back into the forefront. He is STILL my favorite country male singer...
God Bless you Both💝💝Best Country Singer!!!
I use to think he sounded like George Jones. After listening closely, I could hear the difference. No show jones is number one with me. Randy is running a close second.
for ever and ever Amen.....
God bless you marlene for being such a good caretaker. I know that it can be a hard job, but you reap rewards for what you do. God Bless you brother too. May he keep getting stronger and doing better every single day. :-)
@@ivyvines6708 Thank you for your kind words. Each milestone he reaches I come home and celebrate. Today they did the swallowing test and he will start eating soft foods and liquids today. I am so happy.
Not surprising !!! Many physicians today are pushing genocide.. especially the demon-crats and foreigner's who are here practicing on a visa. It is SICK and DEMENTED !!! In the mean-time more have been allowed to come into America. Before you allow them to touch you... find out what nationality they are and what country they are from. ASK YOURSELF... does this person come from a country that advocate's and promote's genocide ? If the answer is yes... DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOU !!!
God bless you both for loving each other and giving the World of your precious talent when some don't appreciate it. LOVE to hear you now and then and prayers for financial recovery as well as your physical recovery, God bless you and keep you safe and secure.
Ugh! Doctors! Hate to say it, but you cannot trust them. Get second, third and fourth opinions!!
God is not through with Randy yet. I'm so happy that he has someone who truly loves him. I will always love him and his Music.

Such a loving and caring wife. Unconditional love. God Bless both of you .
Randy Travis is one of my all time favorites! I wondered for years what happened to him. Take care of yourself Randy! Some of us folks out here still love you!
To me too
MILLIONS of people do!
Randy Travis is a national treasure...God bless...you'll make it through all of this just fine!
Forever and ever amen is an awesome song. My mom used to sing when I was kid
I love Randy Travis! I always have and i always will! He never sang a song I didn't like but my new favorite after this video is "Amazing Grace"! Love you Randy and your beautiful bride Mary! God Bless!
I love Randy. I love that his wife has stuck by him. Nobody could replace him. His voice is golden, and so honest. Hold to each other.
The cat plays with the dead mouse after she kills it.
Catherine S. Todd If one woman kept him sober for 19 years, and another pops & he takes a nose dive, yep I blame the woman! BTW....I am a woman, so I am not male bias.
@@GodGunsGutsandNRA Seriously, you're a guy

A good movie produced by Eastwood or Howard ought to pull him in some pocket change.

You've heard of new/used record stores right? Some stuff may already have been re-released on vinyl. If there isn't a record store in your area, check the internet. Most record stores will ship.
You can buy them all on Amazon but I wouldn't bother with remastering. Most of it sucks the life out of older music.

Randy travis is one of the best there is. Simple as that.
i've always been a fan of his, and to hear him sing amazing grace in one way is inspiring due to the fact that by all accounts he shouldn't be here. but on the same token it's heartbreaking because the man had a beautiful natural voice that not many possess.

So glad Randy is still with us, he's always been my favorite country singer with one of the smoothest and easiest to listen to voices, he's so good he doesn't even need music. Just listen to him sing gonna have a little talk with Jesus which is barely instrumental, that shows just how great a singer he is, thanks for all the songs. They'll always be a big part of my life!!!
I still quote some of the words in his song ..what a super talent. He and Georgie Jones

Randy Travis IS country music! The TRUE country music!
Agreed!❤️
Beautiful beautiful voice, I’ve always thought. No matter if it’s a fun song or a more serious one. I want country gospel played at “my wake”. I’ve made out a list so my grandson won’t have a hard time - Randy T is 2nd on my list. Nothing bad meant by that, Elvis is first.
I wouldn't say that he "is" country music, but i can certainly say he is one of the many artist that helped define country and helped shaped country music.

I read his book, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I hope God fully gives him his voice and strength back soon. Also I got pretty mad at all the bad things that happened to him because of Lib. Be strong, Randy! We love you
So many sad things happened in his life growing up. The stores I’ve heard the last couple days watching these videos. I was at his shows this weekend.7-21&22-2023 and such a wonderful show and videos that were shared about growing up. Nothing better than a good wife and he has one..I admire her and wish them the best
