i got an old Tissot like 1 year ago from a antiques shop here in uae , the watch is a tank style black lather straps and white diel i cant find anything in the internet about it i like to know its date and any info , there are some writings in the watch i can provide if you would like to help me , first when i bought it it was not working but i open it and played with the balance and it magically started working till this day no problem but it needs a service
These were probably used by the coal miners since there’s lots of coal mines out on the east coast and north eastern US. Might explain why they are all gummed up from soot. Never a problem out here since coal mines and power plants are pretty much nonexistent in the west.
@@axelthefoxytechworld8024 possibly. I am sure that coal furnace has been either replaced with a oil furnace or possibly natural gas furnace by this point. Oil heat is still popular on the east coast I believe.
