Nice 👍 looks great
Must be quite cold up in the north east. Was fairly warm and dry last weekend, now winter is beginning to kick in out in the west, though can’t complain since it doesn’t last all that long.
watxh your filthy language man
Cool!! In your title it say "homemade" did you make this tree? If so could you show us how. Thank you!
@@blondelightning6200 yeah I made this an I have video clips of how I made it I just keep forgetting to edit them an upload them every year
@@axelthefoxytechworld8024 Thank you for your response! Wow so awesome!!! I have to say its the best homemade one I've ever seen!! It really looks like the original!! My Grandparents had one! Have an amazing day!
Thank you for sharing
Yeah it's a good tree, fair play!
No, no d e l use incandescent or compact fluorescent
Very beautiful 👌
👍 great collection cant go wrong with vintage Christmas
I loved all of your vintage items. Some of your vintage items really caught my Attention. The stereo system-the old vacuum cleaner and the lamp with the double decker lamp shade. The old C9 or C7 lights were beautiful also. Christmas is a wonderful time of the year. I wish it did not go away so fast.
Beautiful display 👍 love the C9 bulbs hope your Christmas was great and happy new year plus the aluminum tree is gorgeous
my christmas was pretty good an ty i made the tree myself
@axelthefoxytechworld8024 very creative and your most welcome 👍
Would have been better without the noise from the hifi.
I have a similar table. Legs aren't attached but i have 4 "lockfast" pins i guess. Cannot keep them from wobbling out. Can you show how the pins hold the legs onto the tabletop? Any advice welcome
I prefer the Grabwell® washing machine its more efficiant.
Those phones never die. Parents still have one from 1968 still in service. 💪☎️
prutser
What recorder are you using in this? I need to find one that has the same input as the HVC-2400 cable
yk, maybe I'll get around to fixing that old phone in the basement closet
When I still had my rotary phone I had to connect the green wire and yellow wire to get it to ring and mine had cloth Cords though great job rewiring it👍 also you can hook up a hand cranked telephone generator to the bells to test them
Need a double washtub to rinse properly. My mom's were concrete in the basement and she used them until 1972. Your stove and fridge need to replaced. Get rid of the new fangled stuff>>need fridge with manual defrost and a stove you have to light with a match to get that satisfying 'fooom' when the oven lights. Mom used that until 1974. The TV should be a color roundie. We didn't have one as the color sets cost too much.
Where did you get the replacement motor?
@@robertwebb2903 I got it out of a old bbq turner
Sometimes I have the same film problem, and other times the camera tries to take out two or three photos at once. Should I try to rubberize that greenish brown wheel?
My father had one. I remember playing with it as a very young child.
Does it have one of them slip ring brushed wound rotor motors or is it too new? lol
love your vintage things mixed with the newer ones. looks like my home. mix of old and new 1940's to present day. love my retro stuff. i would like to have a wringer washer. your kenmore looks like one my mother had when i was little. i got caught by the wringers playing with a sponge, watching the water squeeze out after i dipped it in the tub. i was screaming as the rollers was pulling me in until my mother came and hit the wringer release. nothing was broke just bruised. my parents soon bought a new kenmore automatic washer in 1960 partly to keep me out of trouble and the old wringer gave up the ghost.
This is how you get the electronics bug.
OMG.. My father had this exact same unit. As i recall they said it the first answering machine ever made. back in the 60's. He used to call us from the road to see if a important call had come in. LOL. Ohh the memories.
i have one of these decks, same problem. going to try the capacitors. wish me luck
@@iRepairElectronics just remember to take your time on it theres a lot of caps on them boards I have had a few traces riped from beging to rush
I love it.. Great video and I think you should get an award for your creation..
Greeting from london england 🇬🇧. The old washers are best I'm still using my 1961 twintub. Find it very intresting to see what was on the American market back in the 50s-60s
Wow that's really cool it's like a time capsule😮
@@joemazza1011 ty glad you like it
I collect a bunch of vintage walkie talkies. You do not see very many videos on RUclips about vintage walkie talkies so I enjoyed this thank you
@@joemazza1011 yw there be more Lafayette dyna com 3 videos I have 3 more of them that need work
I also found that you can get the drive belts for this model on Reverb through a canadian seller.
I just got my hands on the civil defense version of this player. They basically took the tape door off, the battery cover off, added a transformer in the battery bay and a 9v battety style connector to hook it up to a 6D cell power pack inside of a beefy metal case to be used as an aerial survey recorder.
27.085 would be channel 11 not channel 10.
my bad
@@axelthefoxytechworld8024 No problem.

What plastic is that? Still bright white, shiny, black, looks like excellent build quality and plastic quality... Making a product like that last so many years. And still look good. It is very impressive. (Doing good plastic is difficult. I mean, look at all kinds of cell phone stuff, AC:s, TV cases, etc, today, which just goes brittle, breaks, goes yellow... What is that plastic?... Duro plastic? Even Bakelite?
@@AndreasAndersson-ve4jx I have no clue
Hey, I have that exact same fan. Have a sub👍
Love the design on the old fan!

it was seized on the shaft
six 1.5 volt batteries equals 9volts which is one 9v battery

Is this one maybe for sale?
nope npt a single for sale sign on it come back in 40 years
As someone who is buying and is using vintage cameras as part of creating film projects, you end up having to take them completely apart to clean them and fix any molding or damage inside them that comes after years of endless use! They're very well-made work horses and can be upgraded to record in HD digital formats with a video HDMI recorder and a BNC to HDMI cable that can record up to 2.5K on some of the older higher end DXC M models! Many pros still buy them for the retro footage look, with some models being hard to get in 2024 with the prices beginning to go up higher due to the demand on some of the older DXC models! Look after it and use it well, it is great seeing someone much younger filming projects with older pro TV studio cameras!
Nope that’s fake and completely not how those outputs work. The sensor resolution remains the same and SDI won’t output to HDMI nor would it upscale resolution lines.
That cable looks like an old Centronics Parallel (NOT Serial) cable for a printer. If you go to google images and google Centronics cable, I'm sure you'll see it's the same.
that makes sense maybe when the machine got unrelible they wired it to a printer so they can see the messages i guess
@@axelthefoxytechworld8024 or maybe it used a small receipt paper printer or something that would print out the time and date of each message that came in. That long ago I'm positive they wouldn't have had the technology to have it print out what they were saying because voice recognition wasn't there. So I'm guessing it's a printer for diagnostic purposes or like I said maybe it lists time and dates of phone calls missed. Again, just a thought
Glad you were able to get it too work or found out the problem
