Denise, I have the same waffle iron, as well. Since yours has been in continuous use over the decades, do you use the cooking spray or vegetable oil like we had to use back in the 1970s? Thanks!
@@PamSC Yep, I do. The only difference my waffle iron has Teflon on the grates, and that early Teflon wasn’t the greatest. It still pops out the waffles. Have a good evening, and greetings from windy Abilene, Texas!

We had this one growing up. My parents got it as a wedding gift, I believe. I think she may still have it, she did when I helped her move a few years back.
The 60's were fabulous. Appliances both small and large were made to last.
