he makes the rakshi feet look positively average sized, which speaks to how imposing you were able to make this fella. phenomenal work!
I always loved the Skrall aesthetic, you managed to capture and update that quite well here.
I love the usage of Vladek’s shin pieces. That was pretty brilliant.
Damn Mascot got an upgrade
This Stronius has a real "black knight" vibe to him that I really like. The use of the knights kingdom pieces and rahkshi feet gives him the vibe of having more advanced armor than the other Glatorian, which makes a lot of sense in-universe. Love this mod, can't wait to see more!
Honestly, with the way he’s built up, I could definitely see this Stronius beating the tar out of Tuma and leading the Skrall himself. Ether that or because Bara Magna’s Conan The Barbarian. Or heck; maybe he’d take over the Sand Tribe and…oh my! Imagine what a modded version of them would look like.

Huge fan of how organic you made these guys feel. I really do wonder how Tuma would look if you kept working on him.
It looked very Orky, like a Rogue Idol got lost on Bara Magna and decided to "mingle" with the Skraal. And by mingle, I mean fight and fight and foght some more.
You really made him look like a bulky rock, a walking mountain. Fitting to his Original Silhouette but enhanced. And i really lime the idea of him smacking his club on his shield. Imagine the little pebbles breaking away in the process, displaying his raw power!

Hugely underrated Glatorian design! Stronius was actually the first glatorian set I bought with my own allowance, and I’m glad to see him get some love.

Using Knight's Kingdom pieces was an incredible touch! I also like the wat you filled out the torso and added a spine! Really awesome mod!

I like that stronius now look like a armored up gladiator
I always found stronius to be a very interesting character. he's always with tuma, making him feel like his second in command, and he also seems to get away with disapproving some of tumas actions sometimes, whereas if an ordinary skrall said something against tuma that would probably be the last thing they ever said. while he isn't the leader of the skrall, he feels a lot like he is.

Stronius looks great modded like this. I personally dont mind keeping mine as was designed, but i do have a second club for mine.
Kinda weird to see him without a giraffe styled extended neck and two logos of two factions thinking the club is always the solution

I like that the pirakas are smaller then inika because an evil small character always feels like a cheater someone who is afraid to use underhanded tactics and it's funny how even tho there small there still stupid strong and smart
I just prefer for the bad guys to be in a higher weight class so the heroes have that underdog thing going on.
@@NickonPlanetRipple yeah I mean it was cool when pirakas did it but the literal war generals being smaller then the guys who's half of the hasn't even touched a weapon in the life before this evening and who are literally out of there elements are bigger then the generals that will be like if a 6 whale fought 6 shark it wouldn't be fair lol now I'm not saying that smaller means useless but it does give us an idea of power that the villains need to have so yeah that was the rant lol

Not saying that any of them are bad, but I’m pretty sure Stronius just made it to my top 5 of these mods. He’s right up there with Gresh and Strakk for me.

I like to think the shield is weapon that he isn't afraid of losing so would be throwing or down right breaking it

About that part where you mentioned how heroes usually feel like they have the advantage. I also think that’s a big issue not just with bionicle but with lego as a whole. It’s not uncommon for villains to get one semi-big thing and then have small side-builds in the rest of the sets while he heroes get big tanks and mechs and an army of important characters and magic superpowers. I think when the issue was strongest in constraction was G2.
Yeah... and there's a good reason for it. Villains just aren't popular. >shrugs< Kids these days don't wanna be the bad guys. They just wanna play with the heroes, and for those heroes to win very quickly.

I’ve been a transformers fan a lot longer than I have bionicle so all I see is upgraded mascot
Personally, i never thought those bunch of bionicle villains were short. And besides, they still were very dangerous. The Parka, the Barrki, and the skrall are very dangerous. The Skrall are the army, the Barrki are commanders of armys who know how to fight beyond even that, and the Praka are just 6 Anime/Manga big bads forced to work together.😂
I still personally just prefer when villains look bigger/cooler than heroes, on a purely visceral level.

i actually enjoyed the "bro-dynamic" he had with Tuma, in the books. and it's a shame, this was never used in the movie (like all the other cool stuff from 2009 lore... this movie had no Zesk! that's how you know, it's bad!)

You mean CCBS spike armor, and damn right it was a boon. It was a perfect for this moc.
except that isnt true, the piraka were over powered to the toa nuva and so where the mistika and phantoka and all were bare bone designs
I didn't say it happened 100% of the time. Just so often that it was annoying. And that's fine if you only want to display the Piraka with the Nuva, but that doesn't change the Inika being really, REALLY tall.
