I decided to spring for a Power Probe but got the 3 with the ETC3000. I figure save some money now for when I get the Hook since I probably will need that one.
So, the Powerprobe will light up bulbs when testing them? I know I do things old school with a multimeter still, but the tone for hot and ground does make it a lot easier when youre crawling under the vehicle and you cant hold up the meter to see the voltage.
Yes it will light up things in the next video Im going to test a small motor with it. Just to show that function again. I think it is a very good tool I cant recommend it enough.
@@learndiesel528 Thats great. Im curious to see that function. It does add a lot more to just a multimete. Im saving up some, because I would like to get the set with the other stuff (the 400 buck set). I try NOT to go overboard with tools, because I can easily get in trouble lol.. Just spent 100 bucks but got a nice hose pick for the bus and finally got a good dead blow hammer.
@@learndiesel528 I do appreciate that too. Im glad you like the design! I think its kind of cool, at least, shows the pride of being able to fix things. I do try my best (dont know if I succeed) in getting younger kids curious, and on the path of enjoying this, either as a career or just as a hobby.
