What happens if air is coming out of the solenoid ??

I have this exact valve on my truck. When I'm parked, yellow button pulled out, it doesn't leak. When I push the yellow knob in, to drive, this valve leaks from the exhaust port. If I push the foot pedal in, it temporarily stops leaking. I bought a kit to replace the o-rings in this traction valve. It didn't solve my problem. Any ides as to why this thing leaks air from the exhaust port? Also, there's another air line hooked to this valve that wasn't discussed. It's an air line coming from the balance port on the quick release valve that's close by..

Why would it activate without wheel spin ? This is happening to me front driver's just locks up I took the solenoid line off and that's where the air is coming from can I cap it off to get home?

I have this valve. Do it have to be calibrated once installed? It only activate my atc when the truck acced over 70mph

If the modulator is leaking out the exhaust when brake are applied, is it always the valve is bad? Or can the brake chamber be bad cause it to feed back and dump air?

Hey , what can be wrong i did 3 clicks when applying brake pedal it holds when parking brakes are set no brakes , even i tried 1 click still the same , the chambers are designed to hold on when using parking brakes non of the 4 tires is holding brakes when you pull the knob

Im having a problem where i press on the brake and the service brake on the trailer applies real slow. Can this being bad cause that. I already changed all my adjusters and chambers everything is adjusted.

Ohk i did everything that way but u can drive a bit then it locks up when i go to adjustment points they are tight i loose them 5 klinks drive about 2km then they bind again

As a mechanic or sorts for over 50 years and now teaching air brakes (drum s cam and disk) this is I will say one of the better videos I have seen. You are personable but better yet as good as that is you are knowledgeable. Too many YT "mechanics" teach the shirt tail way (this is how Bob, and Bill before him and Sam before him did it.... I think you get it) I like your authority, your knowledge and our speaking voice is smooth as butter. Great video would really like to use it for the bench segment prep for my guys working on Disk Air Brakes. BTW we work on garbage trucks and container roll offs so we get stinky nasty brakes often. Good job!

I blew a brake line in a dump truck once fully loaded coming up on a red light down hill with 20.36 tons of GAB! There was one car at the light coming to a stop and all the sudden POW! The low air horn sounded close behind, Primary air went rapidly to zero! I checked the turn lane in my mirror and took it to avoid hitting the car in front of me. I got it stopped but not like normal. The secondary tank did come through for me though, I had just enough to get stopped. The 07 KW T800 dump truck I'm in now will drain all tanks from any single tank being drained. Do you suppose its the double check valve causing it? I have a brand new Bendix AD-IS 801266 dryer installed but still have this issue. Although it did fix the pop off blowing issue!

Having issues with my 2021 Peterbuilt 348 . I have no air leaks . Getting good air pressure. My brakes are not releasing. I removes both air lines going in to my drive axle brake chambers and getting air on both lines . Should I be getting air on both line s ?

I've wrenched on vehicles for a while. If I was going to buy my tools all over again, I buy the cheapest Craftsman starter set like 400/$300 or something like that. Anyting that's set in had that I needed you could usually find through Napa. They're pretty high quality tools, a little cheaper; and if you break something if they don't have a replacement in the store they can get it in 2 to 3 hours

You crack me up. I'm doing a pad replacement on school bus on Monday that goses down dirt roads Monday through Friday. The amount of caked on mud is of the scale.

I have same valve like this on my truck and I have an issue with it. What happens is when the air supply drops 70-60 psi it dumps all the air out I am not sure if this is the bad valve or something else. Any help greatly appreciated

Ok after watching your video im wondering if you can help me this is not regards to a semi truck I have low rider that has a engine driven air compressor thats built from a converted ac pump the system works ok other than 1 problem it has water problems so I thought I could install a air dyer from a truck but it just doesn't work because I don't I have a air governor to control the purdge circuit the compressor I use is controlled electrically with a magnetic pulley on at 105 off at 130 psi is there a way to make this work maybe add a air governor or some sorta of air dyer that's eletric for discharge I am not looking for a free lunch u would be will to pay you to help figure this out

Good video. When I do a pad change the kit comes with new hardwaredware including the sheer adapters. I save the old ones just in case.

A line from this valve it’s back flowing to my pedal brake Valve a delivery line to be more specific and not sure if it’s the really valve or the the other module that’s hook to the valve , it’s there any way to test this valve ?

I have the same valve on my truck. When my yellow knob is pushed in and I press on the brakes air just dumps out of the bottom and none of my traction tires brakes are working. Can I just take the top off of the traction valve and replace the O rings? No one seems to have that valve in stock.

I’m having issues with my rear brakes on my semi when I release the brakes the slack adjusters doesn’t fully return but if i put a little force with just my finger pushing the chamber rod back the some air release from the bottom of the Modulator Valve bottom or if i disconnect a little the air line from the chamber the air release and chamber rod return to the release position Do you think can be the Modulator Valve that are not allowing all the air from the line to escape when release the brake ? Great video. Hey sir. A bad m-32 valve can be the reason why my air compressor might take toooo long to charge my tanks?? I already did a compression test on my compressor and it seems to be building up air pretty solid. With that in mind, my problem is that in the morning when I press both yellow and red knobs and let air stabilize? My compressor won’t recharge again, I have to pretty much floor the pedal to get it to start building air again. I have changed the check valves on both the wet tank and the secondary tank also. I do tho.. hear a purging sound coming out of that M-32 modulator when pressing the brakes. PLEASE HELP!!!! God bless sir!!!
