I'm watching this again! (4th time) Thank you Kaye, for all your tutorials! I'm adjusting a big block to make it the size I want. Who knows if it will work out well, but I know it will work out at least somewhat, thanks to this tutorial! I'm so excited to start cutting. I've got my measurements figured out, and how many of what I've got to cut out. I hope you have a great day!

Kaye, I can’t wait to see your next video. I’m a new quilter, having started to watch videos after Covid started in 2020. My sisters have all quilted. I’ve known how to sew for over fifty years and made lots of clothes but never made a quilt. I’m now on my third and fourth tops! One completed with all Kaffe fabrics. I’m going to try the nine patch next. I love seeing your collected quilts. So happy to have found you!

I was part of your Civil War Quilt group. I loved it. I have been sewing since I was 18. I sewed clothing. Around the end of 1978 I started piecing. I joined a Farmhouse group in my neighborhood and began piecing. In the mid 90’s I started back at piecing. Then, years later I started machine quilting. I learned plenty from this video. Reviewing so much for all levels to learn or relearn. Thank you. Love your videos.

I just found you and I am in love with your personality and all the knowledge you have to share. The love you have for the antiques I share as well. I inherited some of my grandmother’s quilt tops and of course we made with warmth in mind for her nine children. Using clothing for the fabric of worn out or outgrown clothing. The stories these quilts could tell. Her quilt tops were hand sewn and her stitches fascinate me at how precise they are. I decided to preserve one of her quilt tops in a window frame with part of the quilt displaying the back so you can see her stitching. Quilting is a dying art and I am self taught with much video time that I have learned from. Sorry this is so long but I am so grateful that I found you on here. Someone that has your knowledge and love is also a rare thing now a days. Thank you sincerely for what you do here is is very well appreciated in my heart!

So glad I came across your channel! Great tips and you are so much fun to watch and listen too. I’ve only been quilting for 2 years and I have recently been focusing on the basics of square and rectangle type patterns; and you are so right that sewing a consistent 1/4 inch seam, being consistent in the direction of the seams and sewing in groups makes for a much flatter, and squarer quilt block. Cutting tips are spot on too! I’ve subscribed and can’t wait for more videos. PS. Your “camera man” does a great job!
