I think you are getting you techs mixed up. A bunny hop is the act of exploiting a bug where you jump on the first frame that you are on the ground to not have friction applied to you. This makes you not lose any velocity due to friction for the few moments you would normally be on the ground.

Agreed. Great to use when defending on Volskaya to get a bastion on the roof watching their spawn - or Torb. Torb is a little easier since he can set his turret and doesn't need a Rein or Mercy babysitting him for the perfect defense.

Im pretty sure, when on offense, characters could straight up jump over when Lucio uses speed boost. 76 can easily just jump the gap when he sprints and Lucio speed boost.

I believe you can make it with Zenyatta on the attacking side. Go up to that building across from the building on the attacking side and go to the ledge. Activate Zenyatta's ultimate and jump across because Zenyatta's ultimate gives him a speed boost. But there's NO WAY Sombra can make it! It's just impossible.
BTW now u can let go of the grappling hook as widow and launch ur self . Basically when you've grabbed on to something hit the jump key again and u will let go

him and lucio are actually a good combo. play zenyatta with some else as lucio. youll do well.

Reworked symmetra WILL be able to cross the gap, her new ability allows her to put a teleporter anywhere in her line of sights. This will also let pretty much every hero who cant cross for attack cross now. Just if you were wondering

I'm really angry right now. I keep trying to make the gap as Pharah but I can never make it. She's just so bad at moving vertically.
have you tried shooting your E at your feet to propel you? It seems to be the most simple way.
But don't you have to get it pixel perfect using that method?
Try starting from on top of the wooden fence post. It might give you that extra 2 feet of leeway you need with Pharah. If you make it, let me know and I'll update the vid.

Im pretty sure, when on offense, characters could straight up jump over when Lucio uses speed boost. 76 can easily just jump the gap when he sprints and Lucio speed boost.
Are any results different under the influence of Lucio speed boosted?
Actually yes. Anyone can make it A-B from the McCree Window when lucio amps up

There are a lot of FPS terms I'm unfamiliar with, but your usage of BHopping has been around since Quake ruclips.net/video/v6jm9iGW2Co/видео.html, which is a seperate evolution of the term. This along with rocket jumping helped people do speedruns of the game before the multiplayer quake scene exploded. There was a big shift of people from Quake to Counter Strike when it came out. While I think both of our definitions are correct (jumping like the line dance to avoid headshots , or self-propelled jumping for tricks), I should have used a different term since your use of bhopping is an FPS-specific term,. Sorry. :)

I've been using Mei's ice wall to cross the gap while playing offensively, and I love it. Mei is such a surprise from that side
Symmetra can get across with teleporters
I believe you can make it with Zenyatta on the attacking side.
Go up to that building across from the building on the attacking side and go to the ledge. Activate Zenyatta's ultimate and jump across because Zenyatta's ultimate gives him a speed boost.
But there's NO WAY Sombra can make it! It's just impossible.
After hours of trying, pharah cannot make the jump.
It's quite tough. I haven't quite made it! Keep trying!

BTW now u can let go of the grappling hook as widow and launch ur self . Basically when you've grabbed on to something hit the jump key again and u will let go

You know what'd be cool? If Zenyatta could jump and hover? For a few seconds he floats up and can stay like that for 4 seconds or so. Would make up for his low health and lack of mobility.
I mean, if you use Zen's ult(don't do this in comp) you can use the gigantic speed boost you get and move at light speed across the gap
If you get on the ledge then you use ult and ride the wall as close as you can

And symmetra can make it by putting a teleporter at one end and teleporting to the other. (Sarcasm don't take that seriously)
Also bastion CAN rocket jump to point B with his alt.

I wish Zen could hold space to hover at his max jump height for a sec, or something similar. He needs that extra edge as he's a fragile support with no mobility.
I prefer to wraith over the gap jump, from B to A with reaper. Given you get a minor speed boost, its more reliable than McCree's roll.
There is another's au to cross from point B to A use wraith form in mid air and you will move faster and will be able to close that gap
This is good if you are trying to make an escape
Zenyatta can do the attack jump but you need to use transendence
