Is it sad that this has actually happened to me before..? I was playing as Orisa, put my shield up, and my team's Hog (Someone that I knew) purposefully hooked the mech and dragged it behind my shield, killing like 3 of us? Luckily it didn't get play... That would have been embarassing.
I can speak for every Hog main out there: We have all accidentally hooked a mech and killed our team XD "Purposefully"... that I don't think we'll do
all the overwatch characters probably suffer from some sort of PTSD, especially the ones who fought in the omnic crisis, imagine what soldier 76 and Reinhardt feel on a daily basis

I hated when people said this cinematic didn’t give any lore when it really gave a lot to dva’s character.
She obviously shows signs of ptsd and anxiety from struggling with fighting in a war at such a young age.
She is a 19 year old girl who has to protect an entire country and if she makes a mistake it can have severe consequences. That’s hard on a person who’s so young.
One moment she was just an ordinary girl who played games for fun and now she’s dealing with fighting for her life and the country.
She may seem annoying and obnoxious but that’s what she’s supposed to do. She needs to put on a strong persona to everyone so that everyone feels safe. THAT is part of her job of protecting the country. She puts on a cutesy and confident attitude so that people see her as strong and someone they can depend on. Showing her weak side will cause panic in the country and they won’t see her as someone who’s strong enough to protect them. They won’t feel /safe/
She never thought of relying on teammates because she was constantly reminded everyday that she is supposed to protect the country and that it is her job. She feels as if she’s the only one who can protect everyone when in reality, it’s her squad as well.
A poor young girl who has so much pressure on her shoulders.

These Overwatch animations are just amazing. There’s no other game I’ve seen or played that does such awesome high quality animations for their game, it really builds their personality.

This one honestly is one of the best shorts in my opinion, it just shows how broken these heroes are no matter how glamerous and loud they appear. Hana is like 19 years old and she is still willing to fight to protect those who can't protect themselves. The characters in OW are so well written

I get it's a joke, but I've seen people seriously pissed over this XD. My personal opinion is that she could boost whenever and however long, but for it to be safe and not risk overloading it has to be in quick bursts, like in game. (That and they had to balence her while still fighting over water lol)

I guess self destruct is one of the only ultimates that actually makes sense why you have to charge it up
I remember ages ago when this first came out that people were wondering "why didnt the Gwishin just drop the mech?" when it was prone to explode, and after watching this years later it hit me; how likely is it that the omnic KNEW it was going critical, and since it's a literal reactor, realized dropping the MECH on the CITY would highly increase the amount of damage it (the Gwishin) could do? It wasnt going critical immediately either, so perhaps it calculated that it had time to bring the mech-turned-bomb to the city, but it didnt account for Dvas blaster causing it to spontaneously combust.
Kind of touches on the violent intent of the Gwishin a bit, it's a little detail but man is it scary to think deeply about.

Maybe I'm the only one but me personally i watch this because of those Gwishin Squid omnics. I absolutely love their design and function. Honestly i wish we could see more of the combat omnics in the future especially from the ocean inspired gwishin and im certain we'll see more from the null sector.

To be fair, she's had to atleast have gone through military training and would still need to train. Yes, her diet in the video is horrible for keeping in shape, but I think she's had to eat much healthier food and still has to work out.

Its not that the suit would explode the entire city. You saw the she was not killed even though she was right below it. 60 seconds was too long because the robot could still shoot missiles at the city and wouldnt be dead.

She is definitely dealing with PTSD even before the attack. I'm wondering how of the bombastic gamer girl thing is a mask over her trauma. I say this as woman with war PTSD who puts a bombastic gamer girl facade, however I'm at medium skill as opposed to top tier.
Throw someone into a life and death situation at that age, and if they don't come out hurting, I'd be surprised.

well story wise it would make sense she has a lot of thrust that could probably go for a few minutes (not infinite tho) I mean it is a Meka, how bad would it be to have a Meka that has their thrust for only 3 seconds, in the game tho they need to balance it out so they gave her only a few sec of thrust

kinda miss that really, also i remember learning super early on that you can "throw" her mech. I did it on accident and no one else in the game knew either felt very proud at that moment, i ended up killing myself just being awestruck by it.

I can't lie, d. vas definition of relaxing (fixing and repairing her mech while making sure it's in tip top shape) reminds me of how my dad sharpens knifes to relax. Making things work well and look good is satisfying and oddly relaxing. So apart of me thinks she fixes and works on her mech as a way to unwind and relax. She finds it relaxing when she knows her mech is in good condition. which is probs why she looks so comfy and relaxed when fixing her mech.
Edit: I personally think the only reason she was experiencing that ptsd was because Tai mentioned the kishin, and she was just happliy fixing her mecha. Which than unintentionally made it worse cause she worried about her mech not being in ideal condition.
