The rest of us are completely stressed out, and here you are in a zen-like journey from one little slice of heaven to another. If ever you run into a spot of trouble, just remember that millions would gladly trade places with you.
I'm happy everything went okay when you assisted a complete stranger, on the side of the road, all alone, in the middle of nowhere! I admit I would not be that brave! Stay safe & careful always!
Yep, no doubts physical environment is the icing on the cake, but frame of mind makes or breaks every place/moment for sure! I'm guessing you do, but just in case you don't, I bet Eckhart Tolle's teachings would be/is a nice fit for you. Lot's of free lectures, and such, on RUclips. As always, I appreciate you Brian!
I was camping by myself for several days in a camp site near Mount Langley’s trail head to acclimate to altitude. It was tranquil. I didn’t do much except cooking, reading, and sleeping. I still remember that experience.
Used to watch you so much, would wake up early before school and watch your videos, I just somehow stopped watching and just stumbled across your channel again, it had been awhile didn’t even know you had a new set up! Missed it, I’m back now!!
Hi Brian, the thoughts you share are very uplifting about nature and how it affects you and how it’s changed your life. That was very kind of you helping “Brian” out. I would have done the same, safe travels….🙏🏼🦅🙋🏻♂️🪶✌🏼
Hey, enjoy that one great drone shots too. Take care and see you soon. Interesting fact on Show Low legend on how the town got its name. According to a legend, the city's unusual name[5] resulted from a marathon poker game between Corydon E. Cooley and Marion Clark. The two men were equal partners in a 100,000-acre (400 km2) ranch; however, the partners determined that there was not enough room for both of them in their settlement, and agreed to settle the issue over a game of "Seven Up" (with the winner taking the ranch and the loser leaving). After the game seemed to have no winner in sight, Clark said, "If you can show low, you win." In response, Cooley turned up the deuce of clubs (the lowest possible card) and replied, "Show low it is.".[6] As a tribute to the legend, Show Low's main street is named "Deuce of Clubs" in remembrance.[5]
You just cannot beat the breadth and beauty of the entire Northern AZ area. I grew up in Flag. I love it so. I know it like the back of my hand. Dad was a geologist and we camped and did field work growing up. Enjoy! Thanks for the pics.
Brian watching you carving spoons reminds me of Richard Proenneke. I am sure you know who he is. You seem to find peace in nature the same way except with a modern twist. Its so cool. Thank you.
WOW.... great video and again some memories.... I lived in the Phoenix are way back in the 70s, and worked for Salt River Project... both electric and irrigation divisions... left in '76. remember tubing down the Salt closer to Saguaro lake down in the valley. and Show Low... spent a night in that very wally world by the hospital... yep a bit of noise. Thanks for taking me back in time... safe travels...
Good stuff. The enlightenment when you get that sense of nature - the noise yet silence of the snow falling in the forest, the smells, the realization that you're alone and yet you're not in the grand scheme - nothing like it. Keep up the good work!
It got down to 46 last night in the mountains of Michoacán in central Mexico. My wife was complaining. I said for some people that’s the day’s high temperature. She wasn’t impressed I’m impressed by your toughness. If we had to drive our van to snow country we’d both curl up and freeze.
You didn’t say how long you were sequestered all by yourself in the snowy woods! Absolutely gorgeous drone footage. Beautiful and peaceful video! Thanks for sharing.
Brian you seem to really make great choices that lead to your “ life experiences” . I love that you recognize the truly wonderful ones and share the joy of them with us . I can say I know when a special event or location just hits that magic spot. It can be as simple as a walk in the backyard but when it’s great it’s great. Solitude certainly helps. Thanks for your work you put in.
All of us hate to see you leave that peaceful slice of heaven. Good cooking video !!! Seems like your diésel heater could run more to keep you warmer. Could you insulate the trailer more?
Brian, the drive through the canyon and the drone shots that you took were breathtaking!! What a gorgeous area! And as always, you make me smile with your appreciative whistles! ✌🏼😊
Brian my love, great video. I love your cooking. The beautiful forest, trees, lakes, and blue skies. How wonderful it is to go with you on adventures. That was so nice of the gentleman to buy the food . I love you and traveling with you. Honey take care and stay safe and beware of false prophets.🇺🇸🇺🇸😇😇👍👍🙏🙏❤️❤️🌹🌹🍺🍺🌞🌞🕊🕊
I learned in my Navy days, be comfortable being uncomfortable! It has served me well all my life and journey through it! Sounds like you got to experience it, and ain't it great! Happy travels my friend!
Maybe all my camping experiences are old fashion, but I never missed a shower. I still use two one-gallon water jugs each day when in the back country. In warm weather I place the jugs in the sun and use in the evening. In cold weather I pour half the water in a pot and heat it and then pour it back into the jug with the remaining water. I use an ice pick to punch holes in the lid of one jug. In snow you never run out of water for showers...just advice from an old guy that has camped and stayed clean for too many years to remember.
Check out my video on my outdoor shower setup. A bit more streamlined and with the nozzle it saves a lot of water and can direct the water where you need it most(crotch and under arms). I painted it black to warm up in the sun! ruclips.net/video/rp3rv5og0fk/видео.html
Our western states have much to appreciate from the snow topped Rocky Mountains, colorful canyon lands, tall grasses and beautiful prairie land flowers, crystal clear mountain lakes, streams and rivers, old time mining areas and ghost towns, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed my twenty years of living out yonder as I’d imagine you are as well. Thank you for sharing areas I’d yet to have explored. 🏕
I enjoy all your videos , especially your cooking , you always seem to make everything you cook look so yummy, keep doing what your doing with great content , thanks for sharing
I visited the gran canon in Arizona in 2018 for the first time it was cool great view from where I stood if u haven't been there it's worth seeing the clip of what u shared in the video reminds me of it
Yes Highway 89A between Flagstaff and Sedona has some serious switchbacks, but so does that section of the 60 through the Salt River Canyon. Both are beautiful drives!
The Salt River canyon there is an underrated spot in AZ. It's always something you drive through on your way to somewhere else, but it's really gorgeous. Glad Brian captured the canyon with the drone, beautiful!
Now that’s the way to enjoy a heavy snowstorm. Seems like vehicle #3 is much better suited for it. The drone footage was epic as good as it gets. Thanks Brian for such a peaceful tranquil drama free channel. ✌️
Brian, like your dad would say, we're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time!
The rest of us are completely stressed out, and here you are in a zen-like journey from one little slice of heaven to another. If ever you run into a spot of trouble, just remember that millions would gladly trade places with you.
Amazing. Brad helps you and you help Brian at the roadside. What a wonderful world.
Sometimes what we see as an obstacle is natures way of getting us to slow down long enough to get back in sync.
I constantly think what a BEAUTIFUL country we live in.
The best in the world.
Brian says:
Thank you for being here.
I say:
Thank you for being there!
Great life fantastic views to 👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👍🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
I'm happy everything went okay when you assisted a complete stranger, on the side of the road, all alone, in the middle of nowhere! I admit I would not be that brave! Stay safe & careful always!
Thanks for the tip about the green onions, i keep asparagus the same way.

You find the perfect place..time and time again 🏕✌🏿
While the scenery is great, the people who engineered/ built the roads needs a shout out!
I was camping by myself for several days in a camp site near Mount Langley’s trail head to acclimate to altitude. It was tranquil. I didn’t do much except cooking, reading, and sleeping. I still remember that experience.
Excellent Brian. Life is good when you can be so at peace with the nature :)
Loving that Drive Brian, thank you for all your hard work.🙏❤️
You should do a meet up with Foresty Forest some time .. I think you two have the same relaxed vibe
Used to watch you so much, would wake up early before school and watch your videos, I just somehow stopped watching and just stumbled across your channel again, it had been awhile didn’t even know you had a new set up! Missed it, I’m back now!!
Spectacular views. 👍👍✌️
Square off the edge of one of your spoons and bevel the edge and you'll never need the silicone one again, loved flying thru the canyon.
Beautiful country. My favorite RUclips chef calls that very useful kitchen tool a spoonula.
Brian thanks for giving us all the chance to enjoy the terrain with the drone footage.... Breath taking brother ! ✌️
Hi Brian, the thoughts you share are very uplifting about nature and how it affects you and how it’s changed your life. That was very kind of you helping “Brian” out. I would have done the same, safe travels….🙏🏼🦅🙋🏻♂️🪶✌🏼
Thanks for taking me along for the ride God bless and be safe 😀 🙏 ❤

That drone footage was epic… Beautiful canyon, perfect weather!
Good Karma help with that breakdown too 👍🏽
The snow camp is quiet and peaceful and clears your mind of all the stresses in the world.
God bless the kindness of strangers and also looking to always pay it forward when the opportunity arises.
Lol! What a wonderful world to live in...when you genuinely don't know if it is Sunday or Monday.
You just cannot beat the breadth and beauty of the entire Northern AZ area. I grew up in Flag. I love it so. I know it like the back of my hand. Dad was a geologist and we camped and did field work growing up. Enjoy! Thanks for the pics.
You lived thru the “fear” of being in the middle of the STORM with the ice & snow. You should be proud of yourself. God Bless you!!!!
Hello 👋 dear, how are you doing?
Love the drone footage through the canyon. I love geology. Thanks.
Brian watching you carving spoons reminds me of Richard Proenneke. I am sure you know who he is. You seem to find peace in nature the same way except with a modern twist. Its so cool. Thank you.
I wonder what type of wood he uses
The City park in Kearny Az. Has water, trash cans and dump stations. I've stayed there a couple times. Mighty be worth checking out. And it's free.

Whatever the power of nature is, I don't know, but it seems to be very closely related to love.
What a great one this was! I’ve been watching for over 3 years now and it was so nice to see you smile with true and beautiful happiness here.
Your love your adventures Brian

Hi 👋 dear, how are you doing?
That's a great idea using your cast iron frying pan to cover your food while it's cooking. I'm going to start using that on my next outing

Thanks for the beta.
That drop down into Salt Canyon is pretty dramatic, especially if you've spent the morning coming across the high prairie from, say, Holbrook.
Fun video. Thanks
