Hi Brian! Talk about being transported, I'm always transported every time i watch your videos. From the time you start talking until the very end of your daily journey. You have been blessed with a very calm nature that just draws me up and invites me in. Also, I can always count on having a good meal at the end of the day! I couldn't find a more hospitable host any where. Thank you for sharing your peaceful nature, it really rubs off on others! I am fascinated about the history of your present camp. The icing on the cake is the majestic views! God bless your journey Brian.
The can you found was definitely a tobacco can. Held tobacco for roll your own cigarettes, or smoking in a pipe. In my foolish youth, I bought these for my use. The cans were very good to mount on a stake and hold papers for your gold mining claim, so possibly that had been a mining claim there. Great video. That Prescott area has a lot going for it; good weather year around, not as hot as Phoenix area, and not as cold as Flagstaff. My wife and I spent some time there looking for property to retire to, but didn't find anything we could afford.
Love seeing things through your eyes. Please keep taking us along on your adventures. Loved seeing the old Pepsi bottle and tobacco can. People really shouldn’t burn things with nails in them. In all our years tent camping by boat on an island we cleaned camp before setting up camp and before we left it was a great camping spot for the next campers. I relive those precious memories with my family. I’m thankful you take me along each week😁
I love the longer format. It’s fun to see you explore these old abandoned dreams. Also liked the “transporter” scene. That was an expensive special effects shot back in the original Star Trek series. If you ever rewatch episodes the actors always took the same positions in the transporter room so they could reuse the same footage of them disappearing and reappearing. Now you can do it on your laptop. Peace.🦋
This video was amazing Brian! Thanks so much for bringing us along for the adventure. The length was fine, the time flew by because the content was so interesting and it made me want to know more about what really happened in that area. Please feel free to give us more longer videos in the future. Take care. Peace.
Your storytelling and great videography all add up to good content whatever length you post. Always well paced and interesting. Got a kick out of the portal transport moment- nice bit of humor and well done.
Wow, I find all the remnants of that old camp very interesting. someone put a lot of work into the site. Excellent video Brian, thanks you so much for taking the time and effort to share with us these beautiful national forests. Safe travels, peace.
Another great video. Long or short we love them all. I laughed when you said big houses and you wondered how many kids they might have. So funny. When I was a kid it was not unusual for someone to have three bedrooms, one bathroom and six kids. Now it's six bedrooms, four baths and two kids. Dual sport? Can't wait. Been looking myself but have not found what I want yet.
Longer, shorter - they’re always perfect. I managed to catch today’s during my grandson’s morning nap (he’s still asleep :). Thank you for continuing to bring us along and share what you see.
The length on this is perfect! I have been binge watching and have added a couple of places to my bucket list. Great work! I absolutely love your channel. It's medicinal. Thank you. ❤️👌The music you use in all your videos is awesome, I'm really enjoying it.
Definitely like the longer video every once in a while. I know there are challenges to always producing a longer video, but it is nice to see every once in a while. Always enjoy them no matter the length. Keep up the good work.
it's a great bit of escapism, for those of us who can't be out there, and being an English man it's nice to see the great outdoors of the US. thanks Brian 👍🇬🇧
That was an awesome adventure with all sorts of thing to speculate about. That is always fun. The time just went by so quickly, I was looking for more. Thank You Brian. Arizona is a great state to visit. I have lived here for 27 years and not leaving.
Hey Brian, I've never watched a Too Long of a video you've done. Always metered just right. Been watching you off & on nearly ever since you've been mobile adventuring although it's my first time commenting. You're like a younger brother I never had. Just keep on documenting your adventures for as long as you can so that the rest of us old fogey types get to ride vicariously along with. Thanks so much! Happy Trails - "and away we go!" Ron Orr
I really dig these longer videos once in awhile Brian kinda breaks things up a bit. But I always look forward to your adventures dude! Wishing you and Kelly all the best! Thanks
I enjoyed the longer format, from time to time anyway. It felt like the video had a good flow, with a mix of different events. Changing camps, hitting the road, getting a little van work done, biking, hiking, creativity... It seemed like you were in a good place, enjoying it all, which made it all the better. I guess the best videos, on any channel, is when they feel real and genuine from the creator. A shorter video could be as good as a longer, when it feels authentic, much as this one did. So I guess in short, keep doing you, short or long, that's why I keep coming back. Also, another possibility, I wonder if that camp had anything to do with mining of some sort, I'm not that familiar with the area? Thank you!
I enjoyed every second of the video. I also love to stumble upon remnants like this and try to figure out the puzzle. It was definitely not too long for me. Thanks for sharing the adventure. Your channel has been crushing it lately.
Great adventure, two camp sites, rough road on one and mysterious history on another.great views ..thanks for taking us all along, be safe and keep going
I like the longer videos, it's interesting to tag along on your explorations. A dual-sport motorcycle would make trips to town for supplies a lot more economical plus they are a lot of fun.
You asked for comments. I loved it. Especially the bike ride exploring and I love how you make up stories about your findings. You are such a chill adventurous soul. Peace brother. I like the music as well.
Fascinating exploration. Poking around, you never know what you will find. I loved the creek at your last site of your previous camp spot. Cool. I always enjoy your explorations.
I always find it funny when people complain about videos being "too long". One can pause and watch it in sections. Or watch at 1.5x speed. Or click forward. We have the power folks. I like whatever you want to do Brian. :)
Super interesting, I would love for you to make these whenever you want. I had no idea it was 30 minutes. As I have said before, your content is like zen to me, so calm and peaceful. This one got my imagination going, too. I am leaning towards a cattle operation. The cigarette box is what made me think that because the growers would be smoking what they are growing.
Hi Brian, Great videos as always. I must say, I did enjoy the longer video because I can get into them better, normally, I just start to get into it and it ends. Look forward to the next instalment. Cheers!
I like the longer format and being taken along as you explore the area where you camp. You’re a great story teller and it’s always interesting to get a glimpse into your travels and daily life.
I normally don't like long videos but with yours they are so good they don't seem that long. It's like I am there with you seeing the sights. Thank you for sharing.
I've been watching some of your older videos as I'm a relatively "new" viewer from around lockdown time. You have come a long way and your content is great!
I agree with Lou your videos entrance me away from my day. Even if my dogs try to distract me I always finish your videos and enjoy them. Long or short it doesn't really matter to me. Thank you for taking us along.
Total pleasure watching "where's Brian" 🤔 You bring adventure to every video with the the best filming & music together with your calming voice!! I look forward to every video and they could never be too long. May God bless you in all you do. Hello to Kelly. Thank you Brian
Thank you, Brian, for the longer video. Seeing the landscape up close and personal is a nice addition to your explorations. Create them as you see fit Be well, Peggy.
Finding things in the middle of nowhere is always fun and leaves you thinking what could this have been?? You even had an out of the world experience pretty cool Brian.
We like the longer format videos and the shorter ones, too. Good mixture of video lengths. We also appreciate your meanderings in the area where you camp showing what you’ve discovered. One of the great aspects of boondocking in the middle of nowhere is never knowing what you’ll run across next.
So interesting to see old camps of some sort. Reminds me of what the old was like. Cattle rancher’s cowboy camps perhaps. Great place to take kids to let their imaginations run wild with what they come upon. No computer games, no cell phones. So cool 😎
Brian I was so stoked to see such a long video posted by my favorite vantuber !! That flew by quick kinda like when you get immersed into a good book ! Loved it brother! Safe Travels Amigo 👊🏼❤️
Hi Brian, I really like going along with you on your adventures. I know that longer videos are more work for you but I really appreciate them. I'm always sad when the video ends, even the longer ones go by too fast. You have such a great calming personality and it's so interesting to see how you live and the beautiful places that I'll probably never get to visit myself. Thank you for what you do and stay safe out there
I always love your videos, no matter the length! You have the knack of getting some beautiful and unique shots of things in nature that I may never see. Whatever their length, please keep making videos! It is such a small world! When you were driving through Prescott and noted the Courthouse on the left, I messaged a good friend whose parents live in Prescott. They live ONE MILE FROM THAT COURTHOUSE! Keep up the good work!!
That’s one of our camping spots! 1:43 Love that site with a short walk to the creek. One thing we noticed staying there is we would have quite a few people walking through our campsite. Not a huge deal as most people are pretty respectful but one time there must have been darn near 20 people come up from the creek area all at once! And right through our camp they went🤣.
My husband and I watch all your videos. This video was very interesting, and beautiful scenery especially in your new campsite. Oh, but the creek footage in the first part of video was great too. We enjoy see you cooking, fixing whatever needs fixing, driving along the open road. We don't mind long or short videos. You always do a good job with showing us something interesting, even if its just catching us up with what is going on with you, and you have a really good eye for showing us beautiful scenery and close ups of things as well. We always look forward to seeing what Adventure Van Man is up to!!!
I love finding old spots like that too. My mind wanders as well, contemplating all the possibilities. I bought 40 acres of raw land in Winslow many yrs back and did lots of exploring
Long long time viewer and just like to say I’ve always loved your videos but I’d like to say I’m loving these new videos !! Keep up the great adventures ! Your getting me ready for my start this winter! Just finished my cargo trailer conversion and love it but I sure like your conversion too …. Thanks Brian
Your videos always take me on the most fantastic adventures. Prescott is a great town. But with San Diego prices, not a place I could afford. Your camp north of Chino Valley looks wonderful. So much to discover. Thank you for taking us along on your travels.
I think you have an old growing area Brian. In those days the penalty for growing was pretty harsh. The more isolated the better. The tubing was used to make watering all the plants fast and easy to reduce the exposure time at the site. The pads with the brackets were most likely for raised beds to hold many plants close together for easier watering with that tubing. The lumber piles were likely those old growing beds. I really love the longer videos!
I love the longer video. I never get tired of watching your content. You continue to provide the best content of any nomad out there. I lived in Prescott for 7 years, these are all familiar places. I used to travel to Flagstaff for work and go through Chino Valley, Paulden for work up to Ash Fork, then go I-40 to Flagstaff. Thanks man, nostalgia! Thanks so much for your shared experience!
I really like the format of the last two videos. I watched all of it, didn't even notice the time. This is my first time watching the channel again for a year or so.
I love spending any time with you in any of your places and adventures. Period! ❤️
Hi Brian! Talk about being transported, I'm always transported every time i watch your videos. From the time you start talking until the very end of your daily journey. Very true, he is my favorite van dweller channel, others come and go , some change, Brian is the real deal, plus he never disappoints.
I agree with Jeff and Tall Dude... was so interesting that I did not even realize how much time flew by! Great job.
The can you found was definitely a tobacco can. Held tobacco for roll your own cigarettes, or smoking in a pipe. In my foolish youth, I bought these for my use. The cans were very good to mount on a stake and hold papers for your gold mining claim, so possibly that had been a mining claim there.

I can only speak for myself, but I could watch a 30 minute segment from you every day of the week and twice on Sundays! So fun and fascinating!!
Love seeing things through your eyes. Please keep taking us along on your adventures. Loved seeing the old Pepsi bottle and tobacco can. People really shouldn’t burn things with nails in them. Great job. Your videos are never too long when your showing beautiful nature. Be safe and keep going.
Prince Albert pipe tobacco used to be available in a tin like the rusty tin you found with the old Pepsi bottle
Didn’t feel like a half hour, always a good start to my day when you post a new video! Nice special effects too, made me laugh.
Great adventure, two camp sites, rough road on one and mysterious history on another.great views ..thanks for taking us all along, be safe and keep going
However long you want to make them is fine with me and I like it when you decide. That's part of the charm of spending time with Brian.
I like the longer videos, it's interesting to tag along on your explorations. A dual-sport motorcycle would make trips to town for supplies a lot more economical plus they are a lot of fun.

That can you found with the Pepsi bottle looked like an old Prince Albert Tobacco can. I remember watching Daddy roll his own cigarettes 70 years ago.
Thanks for your comment. 😊

Hi Brian... Where did you buy that heavy duty magnet 🧲. I would like to make myself a magic bar .
I got mine at Harbor Freight Tools but I think Hope Depot might have them too.
Love how you give ideas on what you think was going on there. Nice catch on the elk.🌻🌻
Brian I love your videos I don’t care how long they are I’ll still watch them.
Always love your content great mysteries that stream looked so inviting ✌️🌵
Hey Brian, I felt like was getting an education with this video. I love how you take the time to explain the story, awesome video.
That’s crazy. I remember the episode when you showed us that area. All the best to you.
Love being along as you explore. End of week and good to relax with this longer adventure video.
Hi Brian, Great videos as always. I must say, I did enjoy the longer video because I can get into them better, normally, I just start to get into it and it ends. Look forward to the next instalment. Cheers!
When you get happy…it makes me happy. 👍

Transport into another dimension... thanks for the snort-laugh, Brian. AdventureVanMan is my favorite RUclips channel!!!
Great episode! Thank you for showing us all the details you found. You take us with you on your travels - a real treat!
I agree with Lou your videos entrance me away from my day. Even if my dogs try to distract me I always finish your videos and enjoy them. Long or short it doesn't really matter to me. Thank you for taking us along.

Don't apologize for a longer than usual video. Beautiful Arizona scenes and an interesting narrative.
Love the long format too and can't wait for you to get a dual sport and take us along!

Hi Brian, something else about those concrete footings in that cliff. Maybe they were going to put up a big water holding tank for watering cattle.
Too long?! No way!! Always too short!!! More, more! 🙏😉😃
I watched all the way to 29:04...It was very fun to tag along. Thanks, Brian!
Oh I love alittle longer. Most of the time about the time it's getting good it's over lol. Appreciate the video's Brian. Keep them coming. ❤️👍
Loved the video; great spot(both places); no people; great😎😎😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very pretty campsite. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲

Not too long at all, Brian. Love watching and learning from you. Keep doing what you do.
With content like this :30 mins is not enough, loved the video.
Enjoyed the longer video. Great watching for a Friday evening.
good show, enjoyed the longer version. the triangle thing made me laugh this morning. safe travels.
Your videos are always informative You always find neat places to camp We enjoy your videos that's why we keep coming back
My wife thought this video went a little too long, but I didn't mind it at all! Very interesting content. Thanks.
Longer videos are the best you rock Brian.
Enjoyed it, Brian. Very intriguing place you found. And what a view.
We'll take what ever you give us. Too rocky for weed op. I love N. AZ. Thanks again for sharing this with us!
Your videos always take me on the most fantastic adventures. Prescott is a great town. But with San Diego prices, not a place I could afford. Your camp north of Chino Valley looks wonderful. So much to discover. Thank you for taking us along on your travels.
Love this vlog thanks for not wasting our time by showing ur cooking skills !
Love the creek! Wow, the facial hair is handsome! Cites are beautiful. Thank you for sharing
I think you have an old growing area Brian. In those days the penalty for growing was pretty harsh. The more isolated the better. Sounds like you have experience 🤔 😃
@@elflordsjourneys Nah Elf, that would have been illegal. ;>}
Haha, didn't stop me some 45 years ago.🤣
I love the longer video. I never get tired of watching your content. You continue to provide the best content of any nomad out there. Thank you so much for documenting your journey and sharing with us all. I continue to learn so much from you and I hope you never tire of sharing your journey on RUclips. ✌️
Really enjoyed this video. I seem to remember that flagstone from one of your earlier videos. Finding those 3 markers is cool, I never knew that there are usually 3 in a triangle. Love the view from that location. Someone had some plans to create a little home or something in that area
The time flew by. I only wish it was a little longer so you could sneak a meal in there. I always enjoy watching you whip up a meal and enjoying.
Beautiful babbling creek, the water looks so refreshing too.
I love adventuring with you. It was kewl to see the survivor marks. I didn’t know those were out there. It is fun to find places like that and imagine what life was like. Thanks for bringing us along on your adventure.
