  • In this video, we walk you through step-by-step, how to disassemble & reassemble your entire primary drive case. We used a 2020 Harley Davidson Road Glide for this video but the process is basically the same for Street Glide, Road King, Electra Glide, Softail, or any other Milwaukee 8 Harley Davidson motorcycle. There are lots of reasons you may need to get into your primary case including clutch replacement, stator replacement, chain drive conversion, compensator replacement, etc. so this is a useful skill to have in your arsenal. We hope this video helps! If you have any questions, drop them in the comments or shoot us an email, we are happy to help!

I was always under the impression to never use an impact on the compensator bolt? I understood that the impact vibration could possibly affect the magnets in the stator?
