    Long post incoming:
    I just installed a evolution clutch industries clutch kit on my 2021 street bob. My issue now is the clutch cable, when I pull the lever it doesn’t move the basket at all nor is there any tension on the cable like if there is too much slack. I’ve been running the fat baggers manual clutch adjuster and haven’t had this problem until now. Do I need a spacer on the clutch lever? Did I miss a step?
    I haven’t poured fluids into the engine yet just Incase if I need to disassemble and troubleshoot. Please let me know what you think and any suggestions. Basically it is not giving it enough pull to open and close the basket.

      You always soak the plates in whatever oil they’ll be sitting in permanently. In the case of the evolution industries clutch pack, it requires atf type f fluid instead of the typical primary case oil you would put in a stock primary.

    • @RidinDad
      @RidinDad  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, I do. No matter what set up you have the two piece cable system from Harley is trash, and I have no idea why they ever would have went to that. Do yourself a favor and get a one piece clutch cable, not only will adjustments be better, but the whole Actuating of the clutch will be better in general. Single piece clutch cables are so much better than the crap that Harley is trying to put out now.
