Oh god I remember story 3…. That one is awful. Jeff did drop trying to peruse custody of OPs kid, and OP actually ran into his in-laws by complete chance, where they actually apologized for their daughters actions. Op of course said that even if that was the case, she wouldn’t feels safe with her anywhere near her kid, but the parents actually dropped the bombshell that Jeff’s wife had self-terminated out of grief, and turns out Jeff was the reason for his baby’s death due to him shaking them as the child suffered from colic I believe and the child wouldn’t stop crying. Man killed his kid, indirectly killed his wife, and then had the audacity to walk free from his crimes due to corruption and bribing his way out (from what I remember) was disgusting and utterly tragic. Thank god OP and their kid are safe from him and moving

@@vickymc9695 yeah I think so, and it didn’t help that SIDS is sadly quite common in their country from what op said so they thought it was that and Jeff even tried to say it was, but I don’t remember how but the truth came out and Jeff was the one responsible for the death of his child, and that sent his wife into a spiral and to the point of a psychological break, hence why she was calling ops daughter a different name and was insisting on changing her diaper and saying op was trying to kidnap her “daughter”. She was too far gone in grief and mental breakdown that she couldn’t even see what was reality anymore, me thinks. Jeff is by far one of the most vile creatures I’ve heard about from a Reddit story as of late

The thing that sucks about it is that, if this was in Ohio, having another adult sue for custody on your behalf is currently the only legal way for a child to escape their family if they were being abused, but the state doesn't allow that as an option in the first place until the child is over the age of 10. But, this dude was misunderstanding & misusing the hell out of that weird loophole- kid didn't know him & was too young to have an opinion really count in court anyway, nor was the kid in any obvious or demonstrable danger from the legal parents.

Story 1 - People need to realize that a hard NO means NO. I was working with a piece of equipment...this kid wanted to "help". I said hard no, the mom said yes, and before I said why mom grabbed it for the kid...and it shocked the F out of her. She was sitting there with eyes wide open and mouth agape...I yelled "THAT WAS WHY I SAID NO!"
Not much more to the story. They were a couple of randos walking by and I was on my property in a garage 20 feet from the street. I asked if she was okay and she kind of nursed her hand and walked off with the kid. I had been hit by it doing the repair and it was painful...but not as bad as touching a hot pan or oven.

Story 3: you don't have all of the info, Fluff. It's MUCH darker than "Jeff" and his wife recently losing a child, and the wife's not handling it well.
The baby died of shaken baby syndrome when "Jeff" got irritated at her crying because of croup and shook her so hard that he killed her.
THAT'S also what the wife's trying to deal with, Jeff covering up what he did in front of everyone, while she knows the truth. 😢
    It gets worse.
As things get crazier for OP and her daughter, she makes sure to get them both as far from Jeff as possible, and at some point the wife's parents come to OP to apologize to her for all of the trouble, tell her that their daughter (the wife) unalived herself, and it was because of what Jeff did.
It's not a crazy story. It's a heartbreaking and gut wrenching story. 😢😢😢

Story 1: This is one of the many reasons uninvited guests should always be turned away at the door. No invitation, no entry.
Story 2: That child should have been placed into foster care. Some parents deserve to have their parenting privileges revoked!
Story 3: Kidnapping is never okay! Jeff and his wife shouldn't have been allowed near any children ever again.
Story 4: OP made the right decision. Abandonment is not okay, and demanding an organ transplant is even worse.

    • @theoneguyoverthere
      @theoneguyoverthere Месяц назад +2

For story 2: ideally, yes, but the foster care system is kind of a crapshoot, so it’s not a guarantee that the child would be better off taken away from her. And I’m guessing it was a first-time offense (and technically one that could be attributed to legitimate stupidity on her part rather than a deliberate decision to harm/neglect her child.) So all we can do is hope she got it through her head not to make that egregiously dumb of a decision again.

    • @mandymcnalis7551
      @mandymcnalis7551 Месяц назад

@@illuminocalypse5210a flying monkey in this instance is a way to describe people around a person swooping in to attack another person. For example: Patty has a fight with her cousin Brenda. Patty refuses to speak to Brenda or forgive her for her actions. Brenda then goes and sobs to other family members with a twisted version of events and the family members believe her. Said family members then attack Patty on Brenda's behalf, pushing at her to forgive Brenda. It IS related to the Wizard of Oz. Remember the flying monkeys attacking Dorothy on behalf of the wicked witch? That's exactly what Brenda's family are doing in my example and Brenda is the wicked witch.
In the case of the story in the video, Jeff is the wicked witch and after twisting the narrative to the priest the priest became a flying monkey attacking OP to change her mind. It has nothing to do with Hinduism... no idea where you'd get that notion.

that is called eugenics and this movement is progressed solely by racism & ableism. I understand many people do not deserve to have children because they are horrible or deeply mentally unwell in some way, but this kind of thing is used to deny parental rights to GOOD parents, too. a high-functioning autistic with partial deafness (for random example) may be MUCH better suited to parenthood than a fully able-minded able bodied person. placing rules & regulations on the act of reproduction can only lead to fascism. there is simply no other alternative.

Granted OP has a right to determine what happens with her own body but imo to simply disregard the kid's needs without even considering helping him makes her just as much an a--hole as the parents were for abandoning her. This is after all a human life we're talking about, and she clearly didn't give a damn. If I were a match and was young enough to be considered for donation (I am 68 so afaik I would be rejected due to age) I'd do it and I don't even know the kid or his parents; just because imo it would be the right thing to do. Doubly so if there were no other matches found. To me the fact that they contacted me only for this reason would be totally irrelevant to me; and I have the same relation with my own extended family *except* for my parents (aunts, uncles, cousins, even grandparents - none of them ever cared about me at all for whatever reason so I never cared about them in turn). But I would still help one of them if their need was as critical; even if only to show I'm the bigger person. Clearly OP is not.

But "honest right away" means when first making contact with the AP. Like: "This girl of yours, is she certainly our daughter? Good, her biological brother is sick and needs a matching transplant."
All that insincere cosying up, pretending to be interested in OP's life, those are big red flags.

There was updates on story 3
So in the updates, Jeff got a priest involved and such. Well, Jeff lied to the priest about being a lady who prohibit him from spending time with his daughter and her being a lady who sleeps around. When he left, op got in contact with the bishop and explained, he said she wont hear from the priest ever again. But then later, she got told that Jeff is dropping the case and everything and leaving op alone. Her lawyer checked and it was legit. Soon, op ran into her Jeff in laws and they apologize about their daughter and how she came to be. Jeff killed the baby from shaking her due to colic (crying non-stop) and she passed away. So the main reason why the case was dropped was Jeff wife, Self-Delete. Jeff also lied to everyone under the sun how op agrees to let them use her daughter as a substitue.
After all that Jeff has painted himself as a saint and op as a harlot. He soon spread rumor/lie that he wanted to marry op but she rejected him and was after his money. That lie didnt go well since everyone knew op was not a gold-digger because she has a high income job and she never wanted marriage. So all in all, Jeff killed his child, indirectly killed his wife, dropped his second daughter he had with op.

She called me a prick, opened the cage and reached into the little plastic hut thing to grab my pet before yanking her hand out screaming bloody murder that she's been bitten/stung/poisoned. Around the time the case was dropped, the wife parents came by OP’s and told her that their daughter ending up killing herself because of everything

@@w1nterdays I know it's not the womans fault. But come on! How dense were these parents of hers to think it's okey to use another womans child as a replacement INSTEAD of giving her PROPER psychological care? Like, if they knew that jeff Was beeing accused of ending the babys life, why did they even let their daughter stay wtih this dude? Like, they did everything wrong what they could do wrong! They did not stop jeff from having this insane idea of meeting the kid of an unkown woman and they did not stop their daughert from going to this meeting! I belive this carzy meeting and the indulgence of "playing mom" to a kid that's not hers made it worse!
I know it's incredibly awefull for the parents of this woman, but I think if they had done stuff differently their daughter might still be alive

Story 2 is actually one of the first Entitled People stories I ever listend to on here, on a different channel. Nice to see it again, and from *DarkFluff*
Story 3...is just insane with as many expletives and emphasis-words you can think of. This is just awful. The a-hole Jeff was just going to make his wife's issues WORSE and hurt his own daughter, that he'd totally left out of his life, and the mother, just because he thought this insanity was a good idea.

Came here because Reddit is down
Story 1: The woman definitely DOESN'T know anything about animals. And I feel sorry for the little brat, who will most likely end up growing into a bully and a terrible adult since his mother clearly learnt nothing. Good on OP's girlfriend and her friend group to cut Karen out of their lives, tho.
Story 2: The Karen was most likely trying to get rid of her son; she doesn't seem to care about him that much. Or maybe she is just insane and deliberately misheard OP and heard what she wanted to hear because she wanted a free babysitter. I don't think she should have been let go but hey, at least she found out OP was telling the truth all along.
Story 3: Man, 'Jeff' and his wife are NUTSOS! Maybe the universe made the wife have a miscarriage for a reason. This couple deserves NO kids; in fact, they shouldn't even be NEAR kids! I wish the best for OP and 'Katie'.
Story 4: OP's parents are right. She doesn't owe a DAMN thing to her bio parents who basically abandoned her and only pretended to get to know her because they wanted her to save their child. I don't mean to sound like an a**hole, but I KINDA wish their son ends up dying, so they can experience how it feels to lose a child that you LOVE.
EDIT: Story 3 had updates. Jeff sent a priest to harass OP. She handled it well and decided to talk to her boss to ban the priest from the workplace. Nothing came out of that. The sad part is the next and currently latest update: Jeff's wife died (no specified reason) and Jeff gave up. OP later found out, through Jeff's in-laws (they turned out to be actually decent people) that Jeff had K*LL*D his previous baby, by SHAKING him to make him stop crying (I guess he learned nothing from Peter Griffin. Sorry, bad place to make a joke). OP managed to get her lawyer to force Jeff not to have any contact with her OR Katie. OP thinks Jeff is getting the kama he deserves for painting himself as the victim he isn't. Sadly, Jeff didn't get jailed (he has A LOT of money and influence), but I still hope someone eventually learns that he k*ll*d his bio child and that he rots in prison and hell.

I own Great Danes. Large Scooby Doo dogs. I had one where I would constantly take out to an outdoor mall. She was an impressive 3ft tall. I was a small 5’4” 150lbs. The dog was also 150lbs. A lot of people wanted to take pictures with her which I was fine with. A man once asked to please hold her leash because he didn’t want me in the picture. I told him no, he is not trained, I am. He said if my small frame can handle her she can he since he’s much larger and stronger than me. Luckily his wife shut him down.
Even if OP was a babysitter and agreed to take her son in. Don’t you need to agree on a rate and sign a contract?
That man should never be allowed to procreate ever again. That wife needs therapy and meds, not a child fill in. My husband suddenly lost his godson before we met. I understand the depression one goes through.
I could never ask my kids to give up an organ for another. Once they are adults and decide to do it on their own free will, that’s on them. Put another child’s life at risk to save another, no.

#2 That Karen just assumed that OP MUST be available to take care of her kid at OP's home as a babysitter, NOT at the day care. What a case of The Stupid ! What a case of Entitlement !
#3 Using someone else kid as a surrogate kid to «replace» a kid who suddenly died is NOT good for anyone, and extremely bad for the child. Don't let that man near ANY child, or any elderly person.
#4 So, after some 16 years, the BP wanted that OP become a spare parts pool for their son... That's light years beyond entitled.

    Story 3:
OP offered him the chance to be involved in his daughters life from when she was born and refused. He only wanted to be involved when his child with his wife passed away which is sad, and no one should ever have to go through losing a child. For his wife calling OP's child another name, and the both of them wanting OP's daughter to help the "wife" recover, and then threaten to apply for full custody is delusional. I wish OP the best moving forward, and don't let the "so called dad" or his delusional wife anywhere near your child or family, and take all steps to prevent them from trying to pickup your daughter from school. If they know where you live then put up security cameras all around the outside of the house.

Second story: lady why did you leave your kid on someone’s porch?! Even if op was doing at home babysitting service you should have waited until someone let him in not just assuming that someone let him in. That’s like someone who has pets and an electric gate leaving without looking to see if the gate closed.

Snake story: I was waiting for the kid to go after psycho snake and getting tagged. But while EP got what she deserved, about the time she started disrespecting me in my own home is the time she would have been shown the door... hard if necessary.
Daycare vs babysitter story: Who in their right mind drops their kid off at a stranger's house without first making sure someone is home and takes them into the house? Especially when it's a 5 year old kid? It's not like a school where you just let them out of the car to run into the building.
"Therapy doll" daughter story: There was another update for this story. OP learned that Jeff's wife died (suicide) and Jeff had actually caused their baby's death by shaking the baby when it wouldn't stop crying. Jeff somehow managed to walk due to family money.
Give kidney story: While I truly can't blame the BPs for exploring every possible avenue to help their son, they should have been completely upfront about it from the start with OP and APs. But given how they went about it leading OP and APs into thinking they wanted a relationship now definitely makes them the AHs!

My mom remarried when I was 2 and my brother was 5. My brother and I had to do visitation for 8 years. Our biological father gave up his rights so our dad could adopt us. He did that so he wouldn't be on the hook for over $50k in back child support. I saw him once when I was 17. He tried to make amends, but it was too late. He knew that and I knew that. I invited him to my wedding when I was 19. My dad was my best man and he was in the seating area. Last time I saw him was about 14yrs ago. My brother told him I had a son. My son is 15 now and my daughter is 8. My biological father knows about them but hasn't seen them. My wife and I adopted both of our kids. We see our daughter's biological family more than my son's biological family. Few reasons behind that, but I won't get into it. When my son was old enough to understand that he was adopted, my dad tried to tell him that I was adopted by him and that I have 2 dads. I told my dad that no I don't, I just have 1 dad. That made him choke up. That was the 2nd time I've ever seen him shed tears

Is it worth mentioning that the first story didn't specify that the snake wasn't venomous? There are venomous snakes which are dangerous enough to mice and things, but their venom isn't going to cause harm to even a baby, let alone a full grown adult human.

  • @occheermommy

Story one the snake guy sounds like a very responsible owner so I’m guessing if he did keep venomous snakes for any reason (some people milk them as a business) then he would not bring it out when people were there, especially children. People need to learn that their kids can’t always have what they want and kids need to learn boundaries so they don’t always expect to get what they want

Buddy of mine had an illegal water mocassin (very venomous) in his collection of snakes. During a Superbowl party, two very drunk girls (he didn't know) went into his basement unescorted (where he keeps all of his snakes, lizards, iguanas. etc.) One girl decided to "play with a snake" while the other took a Snapchat or something. She chose the mocassin vivarium. Once out of the glass container, it bit her which caused her to THROW IT AT HER FRIEND! Both girls started screaming, the snake disappeared and 911 had to be called. Funny: the hospital didn't have any antivenom and the zoo was closed. Long story short, my friend relinquished his pet to the zoo, which used its venom for a cure. Do not F with Snakes!

    Story 1:
I don't understand why some parents don't set limits on their kids, even when it's for their own good. A friend of a friend got mad at me, after I scolded her son, for running around without any care, near my collection of cacti, which, by the way, are VERY, VERY POINTY! And she had the audacity to say that it's my fault, because "you should put them away when I have visitors with kids" . By the way, she brought her son without warning.
