I've always wanted to be a mother and life hasn't worked out that way. If you are wealthy the rule should be to always have a prenup. Because that is certainly one way to weed out at least some of the people who are after the money, not the person. And there will always be those, which is one of the problems rich do have, while it most certainly would be nicer to be rich than poor money does bring its own problems. If a rich person who marries a poor or poorer person wants to make sure they will be okay if the rich spouse happens to die first there presumably are other ways to ensure that besides giving them half of everything the moment the marriage happens (better probably not to tell them if you have them in your will either, just in case they are something worse than a gold digger, murders for money happen too).

She also said she had her own job and worked hard for her own money and it wasn't all that glamorous. Also, it sounds like he was making more money than her working for her dad, which he would jeopardize by divorcing her. If he was expecting an inheritance, once again, did he expect her parents to die within the next three years? If that's the case, this "freedom" thing he was talking about might be taking on a much darker road than I initially thought.

Story 1, this is a stage of the cycle of domestic abuse, taken to a terrifying extreme.
OP needs to keep making a paper trail and alert the people around him of what she's done. People who are this level of obsessed and destructive towards another person only stop when incarcerated, killed, or both.
Which happened to the woman who holds the unfortunate distinction of being the victim of the longest recorded case of stalking.
Her abusive ex-husband stalked her until he was arrested for several rapes and kidnapping in another state. Only to track her down decades later to begin stalking her again, which didn't end until he was killed in a shoot out with cops IN HER DRIVEWAY.
And yes there was a restraining order against him and was planning to kill her.

Story 2 - I can understand her sister. I mean, I can understand the melt down she is having. And yes : she need help ASAP! But, what worry me the most, is the fact that her husband double down meaning none of the two can take the task of calming down, have long hard and heartful discussion about it and be there to provide some grip to raise again. Meaning, they both help themself to go down in the depression/mental health issue.
So, OP should be aware that she is not the only one in danger. Immediate familly and friends that doesn't allow her to go further with the "adoption" could be in danger. Anybody they know with young baby should never have any complaint about how hard it is to be a parent or they might be the next target of them. And, if they go further down hill, any hospital or birth & abortion clinic could become a place to find a target.
She is the kind of woman that will try to kidnap a baby at the hospital.
The intensity and the lack of commun sens of her behavior (and the fact that his BF doesn't put a break to this) is very very worrying!

Story 3: Honestly, I could never imagine joking behind my partner's back that they were a "trust fund Barbie" and that I was using them for money. I can only imagine making jokes like that to my partner's face, in an obvious joking tone, if they were comfortable with it. Even relationships that I could tell were on the decline, I would never allow people to crack jokes like that at their expense, especially behind their back.
Also, as a former rich kid (abused for being developmentally disabled, disowned for being gay), there is a lot of rational insecurity among rich kids & former rich kids about being used for our money. It really doesn't matter whether you're a good person or bad. There are people who will get close to you simply because they want your money. As a kid, my so-called "friends" would gossip to the rest of the class that my parents were rich and the effect was immediate. I could always tell who was told because they'd either immediately come up to me asking to borrow money or they would invite me to their birthday party, get angry at me for not buying them luxury items, then spend the entire party bullying me and telling me to call my mom and ask to go home because none of them wanted me there. For me, catching a partner talking about my family wealth like that would be an instant break-up. That's not paranoia. Its a realistic reaction based on past experiences.

Something else to consider would be to go to a hotel in another city that is about 8 hours away for 3 days before OP's due date and until OP delivers their baby. This way Karen can't try to figure out which hospital OP is in to try to show up and grab the baby (sadly this is not a rare story). And I wouldn't post anything about the birth until after OP moves. It might even be a good idea for OP to stay in a hotel near where they are moving to while OP's hubby gets some friends to help him move their stuff. This way Karen will not have any chance of trying to get close to the baby.

23:31 my grandma and grandpa, when they were alive, would host every major holiday. It was an unwritten rule that you took your shoes off at the front door. You picked up after yourself. If you use the dish, you put it in the dishwasher after rinsing it off in the sink. And that was after they got a dishwasher! Before then you got to help with cleaning the dishes on a rotating basis. And yes, they did keep track, which is pretty impressive since we’re talking about 40 people, sometimes more.

The only way around that is to specify OP's family by name and not put locations, however I dont think that is possible, so OP might want to speak to their lawyer regarding such.
However if OP is moving to a place that is some distance, it will be hard for the sister to make any excuse for being there other than it being work related, and that's a bit hard if she is stalking OP into a supermarket or such public places.

Never post any pictures on social media of the baby. My aunt successfully stole my grandson from my daughter, told her she would be a horrible mother and that aunt could do way better . she also could not have her own kids, banned in 10 states from adopting and or fostering, deemed by courts as unfit to parent. yet somehow they got my grandson, supposedly legally adopted him. He is 5 , still in diapers, still on a bottle, not even close to kindergarten ready. i wish i had him , he would at least have a decent life. rather than be with people who will ( probably already do ) treat him like a hated dog. they got in trouble for locking kids in dog cages for " being bad" i cry when i think about the life he will have and if he will survive.

My biggest question would be why did the gf do all this in the first place?
My husband and I tried to get pregnant for 4 years. We then had 2 miscarriages after our first baby. I get it. My neighbor just spent $60k on IVF. The sister’s behavior and actions should deem her too immature to parent in the first place. I know someone who desperately wants a baby, luckily I think her husband knows better. I’m glad they don’t. She’s immature and quite irresponsible. They can’t even afford a roof over their heads and are on Medicaid. She thought it was unfair my private insurance covered infertility while Medicaid didn’t.

The level of responsibilities you decide to take on beyond that is up to you, as well as any restrictions you may have for the guests. My household has the bigger kitchen and dining place, so we usually hold Thanksgiving dinners for the extended family. We make sure to do the pre-cleaning, set up tables, plates, and utensils. We also provide the sodas and I make a couple of desserts. My brother cooks the meat in his smoker and brings it over. Other family members bring various dishes like the green bean casseroles, mashed taters, stuffing, deviled eggs, and more desserts. Then we all pitch in with the afterward cleanup and packing of leftovers. Sharing responsibilities brings the family closer together and gives a good feeling you won't otherwise get just lazing around and letting everyone else do the work (much less actively destroy the host's property).

What is wrong with that family in the last one?! In Scotland hosting just means you agree to meet at someone’s home. Everyone brings something and everyone chips in which helping out and cleaning up… These people are just AHs

STORY 2 - THROWAWAY PREGNANCY: I'm female and I have NEVER understood women in regards to wanting babies on any level let alone this one. It doesn't border pathetic it IS pathetic. "I want a baby". "I deserve a baby". And all of those pathetic things you come out with. Get a grip. It's just a baby. Stop griping.

OP'S husband needs to be just as a bad guest as they were at your house and have it even worse by bringing a petting zoo over at the next birthday or something so that they know the kind of stress that you felt when they came.

If Karen wants to be a mom so bad she can adopt a kid instead of trying to take her sister’s kid

First story has total "yandere" vibes... She's overly possessive and feels that without her, he will never survive. That type of psycho mentality.
