Dr.. Lori, Funny story. My Brother in law and I had a 10 year game of monopoly going on. My in laws lived in Boston. My husband was military. When we visited we played as much as we could. When visit was drawing to a close we would write down all of our game possessions. Money, houses, property, position etc. when we played again all would start where we left off!
Not sure how this dates me but I have several shoe clips that I put on my shoes when I go to church. Plus I found two clip on earrings (pearl motif) that I use for my pumps. I knew immediately the lady was showing you rhinestone shoe clips. They would be spectacular on black or silver pumps with a cocktail dress for us ladies who don't like flimsy shoes. I'm 73 and still like to get gussied up! Lol.
The brass 'cup' looks like the bottom of an artillery shell just from looking at the flat rimmed bottom and circular depression just as you seen in a brass bullet.
I’ve been watching Dr.Lori for the last few months, enough to get some valuable information. What I don’t understand is people who know enough about these appraisals to get an online appointment but not enough to know to greet her with their name and place they are calling from! Then to hold their phone or IPad horizontally and hold them so the camera can see the item.
I knew those were shoe clips right away although because they are so large, they could have been fur clips too. Dr. Lori didn’t ask if they were marked.
Dr. Lori!! I would have chose ‘Clue’…. We love having themed dinner parties and 2 years ago we had a Murder Mystery- clue based party. So much fun! Love the videos! ❤❤
Wow, you even remembered the name and place of a caller!!! And he, I think the name was Justin, is great and he really paid attention to your videos and learning lots! I have not done the 'binge' stuff but have to make some time to jump on and binge!! A lot to learn from you and your presentations, enjoying all of the information you provide and gives one a new way to look at things..even those items we live with and all the family heirlooms we knew we were holding on to for many reasons!!!
Thank you for sharing....I'm with justin (I think that was his name) with the ring. Just listen and follow your videos and you will learn what to buy or not buy. And also the next item I need to buy is the persidium (may have spelled that wrong) to test the gems. I've purchased the diamond tester already.
Love having a side kick. Can you expand, and have someone at the table with you once in a whie.? As an experiment. someone you know from video, not a smarty pants, but someone who we can see think their way through an item. Could be fun and give others confidence.
This video popped back up in my stream and I have a question about the native american aquamarine ring. Since being Native american would that 100% not be lab created? I figure it's not because of the age but I can't imagine they would even use a lab created gemstone of any kind..
Good question to ask during my next Ask Dr. Lori LIVE video so I can answer in detail and teach everyone watching. Check my website at www.DrLoriV.com/events for the next date.
@@DrLoriV not yet but I am going to. I just found you very very recently ! Love and appreciate your videos. Fixed income here so super stickers may be few and far between. Have some nice pieces I’m going to do a video with you on before long. : )
I got some beautiful Minton china the other day for $0.50 each. Twenty four pieces, twelve medium plates, like a luncheon size, and a dozen dessert plates. The larger set is just marked Minton, but it has really elaborate markings, a stamp, a little dot that I believe is a paint sample, and a four digit number. The small ones are Minton for Tiffany.
I thought the shoe clips were beautiful. They were popular in the 50's, 60's & &0's & they still can be worn to dress up shoes. I would not dismiss them.
I think guys collect things that are worth more money. Cuz not only do guys collect jewelry but they also collect tools, cars, motorcycles, boats, RVs and properties...lol
i can officially say i am dr lori obsessed LOL - binge watch
Dr. !ori, don't listen to people who criticize you. I have learned so much from your videos. Thanku. You are an excellent teacher.
I have some fabric shoe clips in the shape of bows and if you clip one onto a dog’s collar it’s pretty adorable! 😊
I have a video call on March 23rd. Next week!! So easy to sign up! DO IT folks.
Blessings Dr. Lori and staff.

My friends and I still use shoe clips. It ups the shoe from ordinary to wow.

Great to see the younger generation like Sophia keeping the Vintage costume jewelry in fashion.
Very generous appraiser here.

I also am binge watching in Wisconsin @ 12:37 am in the morning.
My Mom had some Coat clips just like those, she said you could put them on the throat of pumps also!

I love Monopoly can never get enough
How about making the shoe clips into necklace pendants?
Dr. Lori, do you ever talk about the artwork behind you or the items that you have on the table in front of you during some of your videos???
Yes, you need to watch all of my videos.
I miss you dr.lori 😔 whaaaaaaaawwww
What is the painting behind Dr Lori with the house? Looks like a landscape on the east coast. Maybe Virginia. Thank you.
❤️❤️❤️Awesome video!

Also I love your show !!

Thank you!!
I think shoe clips could really dress up a pair of plain pumps for a wedding or a cocktail party.
bummed this didn't show that there was a live show yesterday......wanted to share ivory that I inherited to show difference in age color.
My mother used to call Monopoly "monotony."
What is that flower setting on table called and from
I would like too know what Randy’s item is called.

Is topaz a lighter blue?
sorry a lighter blue than aquamarine.
There are many colors in the blue topaz range including a very lovely London blue which is dark.
@DrLoriV thank you.
I play the monopoly wars with my two grandsons, one cheats. I make him swear on the Bible he won’t, he still does. Lol
Yeah ❤❤❤
Clue as it's faster to play

I signed up for the newsletter and got it for awhile, then it stops coming.
Have you checked your junk and spam folders?
Is knowledge power…
TIPS FOR COLLAR TIPS
Can I show you more than 1 Item?
I would have said the same thing " don't sell mom's jewelry!"
Monopoly but no one will play with me anymore.
I like monopoly better than clues
😊🥰

I'd rather play monopoly than clue.
