Oh my gosh…I am absolutely drooling over all of the jewelry in this video, Jason! The beetle, the Haskell brooch…I died laughing over your “lemon sherbet and dragon’s breath had a baby” 😂❤ comment! Seeing the dragon’s breath necklace again, caused me to gasp out loud…I would give my left baby toe for that! The Japanese opal glass star bracelet is mind blowing!

Several are in this community so hopefully your videos will help educate them. I am a beginning collector so I am always tryimg to learn so I am not duped.

And that micro mosaic brooch is absolutely stellar. I found a micro mosaic lapel pin and matching earrings about a year ago at a thrift for like $5.00 and they were 18k gold. I decided to keep them instead of sell because they are too beautiful.

I love the red poppy brooch. Red poppies are a sign of remembrance for our fallen soldiers ( Australia). I wear one every ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day for my late pop.

on the saphiret (thank you for the lesson on this glass, love it!) brooch that you r considering repurposing, i imagined the square piece in the middle as a necklace pendant and the 3 other stones could be 2 earring studs and a sweet little ring to make a set! Or what i originally thought was put the three into one ring, yeah that'd be cool, to go with the pendant! Easy for me to say tho, I'm sure that would be quite a lot of work to do!😊 it is a pretty glass, & today's the first time I've learned about it. Thanks again!

Jason, if you continue to have back pain please consider Straight Chiropractic adjustments. At those terrible times, use Salon-Pas, which is infused with medication to help with pain. Place each pad on your most painful parts after a hot shower and take a nap. I do this often and it helps alot!!!!! Hope this helps!!!!

One thing nice abt including price is to help one know they are getting another similar piece that is somewhat in the "ballpark" of what it should be worth. Can you discuss what impact the Chinese market is having on prices in the US? Or where it's affecting the market the most- what kind of pieces & brands are they favoring? & also, what is your opinion abt Why? & When? did they start buying our "costume" jewelry pieces?
I heard someone mention Chinese dealers buying their best pieces a while back, & keep hearing ppl make references to the popularity in China & fact dealers from there are buying items enmasse. But I'm curious abt why, & when this began. & how big of a trend is it? It
must be driving up prices of items ... like you mentioned Trifari jumping up in value- & it reminded me of that influence on the market.
