Jackson has always had a special place in the heart and in the city... always playing it forward.....donated a bit of doe to the wonderful Fernando Pullum Center....I mean just look at these kids and we all see ourselves.

I love that he does fundraisers for kids music programs, with so many underfunded schools, arts programs are the first they want to cut, and music really can save a kid.

I was lucky enough to meet Jackson when he brought his son to the set of a Batman movie. I was the studio teacher that day. The irony was that when I was introduced to Jackson it just didn't click. It was even stranger because I had just seen him open for Crosby, Stills and Nash a few weeks before. Incredibly gracious and friendly.
I thought JB was the best in 1972. Nothing changed. He still is. If you don’t have his 1974 album “ Late for the Sky”, it is a masterpiece that sounds as brilliant today as it did back then.
Never a truer word was said Richard Steiner. It got me through the trauma of my teenage years, my parents divorce, the loss of our family home, my father's suicide, my mother's nervous breakdowns, my divorce etc. No it isn't a soap opera it really is my life, but with the help of Jackson's music I survived stronger!🤗

All of it is as good or better than ever. I would go with the latter. And these kids? A knock--out. What a gift to a 75 year like me. I know nothing about music. But I can feel what it does to me. A big attaboy for this wonderful endeavor. You all get your "A"s.
I was an orphan from the age of 4 as a kid, I BEGGED for a flute in middle school, and was basically utterly dismissed. I am a firm believer in music programs at an early age, especially for underpriveleged youth. It would have been great to hear what was possible instead of what isn't when I was a kid. I came to JB for the literacy of his lyrics, stayed for the work he does, like Crosby said, he is always there for a good cause, and this one is near and dear to my heart.
What a great sounding band - mellow horns and brilliant trumpets. Never a sour note or off beat anywhere. It sure looked like Jackson loved to hear a real band backing him. What a lovely smile.
For 40 years, Jackson Browne has bee a touchstone of the better side of my heart. I heard him play this at the Garden State Arts Center when I was as young as he was.
It just occurred to me ( if I was one of those kids ); from that moment on I'm adding " I worked with Jackson Browne" on every freak'in job application or resume I hand over😉🤗😉🤗...( no joke, I would )
Fantastic!! These kids did a wonderful job on this classic - controlled and tight. You could see the pride on the band leader's face. And these kids get to play with and for a legend whose voice was strong and clear. He is six years older than I am and still performing worldwide. What a gift for these kids to perform alongside Jackson Browne, a man of superb talent and principle.
It's great to see music teachers bridging gaps between the younger generations and music legends through these collaborations. I look forward to seeing more of these. It not only leverages talents from both generations but it also gives unusual interpretations to well-known classics.

It's incredible how a year of recovery time has helped his voice- it's been a bit ragged in recent years (and his breath support...well, it was even a struggle back in the 70s, lol). He sounds fantastic.
Great rendition! I've heard this song since the first time it aired. These kids may not realize that they are experiencing a gift of a lifetime; working with an icon & doing a great job too... wow.
