    I get to ride all kinds of bikes at the dealership where I work. I picked the CL-X over all the Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki bikes we sell. The features & components on the CL-X are premium and it's a great bike. Dual discs on the sport model are overkill, and I don't see the single front rotor as a negative.
    Change out those tires for Bridgestone T32 or Dunlop Mutants and the on road cornering improves a lot.
    Radiator guard is an excellent accessory. Overall an excellent daily rider!
    Shad makes brackets and luggage for a reasonable price too.

    CFMoto has made motors and other parts for KTM ( an Austrian company ) for some time now and decided to start making their own bikes a few years back ( not sure how long ). This is what I have found out since I bought exactly the bike you have last year ( just broke it in ) 700 CLX . I love the throttle but admit it took a little getting used to. I kinda use it like a dual stage setup. I'm 6' tall and it fits me great. I have been in a few panic situations on it and it handled them amazing. It was effortless to maneuver and control. Man I love the brakes ( better than my Harley LOL ). The rear of this bike gets really cruddy in wet and dirt conditions. It could use a splash guard or two lol. Or just get used to it. CFMoto puts out a bunch of aftermarket parts. It's just difficult to get them in the U.S. Good review bro. Thank you. I find that we seem to get the same general impression of this bike. I love mine. Shiny side up man.

    I bought the 2022 CL-X Heritage new last year and have 6000 miles on it in a year. It has run great and no issues to date. I bought the comfort/tall seat for it and was much more comfortable on longer rides. I thought the stock seat was pretty good though. I like the auto-cancel signals but sometimes they turn off before I am ready to turn. This is my first bike after starting on an older Honda Shadow and I love riding it. Wish they had more aftermarket parts readily available in the US. Would love to see a tail-tidy/fender eliminator. Good review.

      My turn signal turns off before the turn ALL the time. At a full stop it works normal. Working with the dealer with the problem. We have the same bike. Just purchased my 2022 the end of June 2023. Around 600 miles on it. Just about done with my Break-in period. I’m ready to go above 6000 rpm, finally. What a FUN bike. Enjoy.

    I was skeptical buying my CLX SPORT 700 in 2022. I've owned over a dozen motorcycles since 1980 (including Ducati) along with all the Japanese brands. The 700 was every bit as good as any of the others and better than several of them. The powerband is excellent, with superior brakes. Top notch fit and finish and excellent handling. Not nearly as powerful as a liter bike but a lot of fun all the same. A very well-balanced motorcycle and one of the best values in today's market.

      There's a motorcycle dealer nearby with two new 2022 heritages in stock for $4,999.00 By one and get a free riding jacket. Hard deal to beat.

    There are three main factors hampering CFMoto right now in North America. #1 the lack of a dealer and repair/parts network. Some dealerships are picking up the brand, but there is a lot of work to go. #2 The perceived quality deficiency based solely on the poor quality of just about everything made in China. They are great at imitation, but some of their products lack the robust nature valued in a major purchase. This is one of the reasons I think they are so aggressively priced. #3 If you own or buy a CFMoto you will need to be hyper vigilant doing proper maintenance. This sort of goes to point #1, but deserves it's own catagory. You absolutely have to change the oil and do the other things needed to maintain a motorcycle. It's not like other brands that are more forgiving for substandard maintenance practices, and is the key to longevity.

    You can send in your ECM in to Team MSC, and they will throw a tune on it for this bike. Get you 8HP and 6 Lb-Ft of torque. Pretty nice. $300. It flattens out the HP and Torque curve too. They have a video on YT, look it up!

      What do you think this bike does after the tune in 0-60mph / 0-100kph? Stock I think is around 4.5-4.7secs.

    If you could go back and pick one, would you get the sport or keep the heritage? They have both at my local and I’m interested. Heritage is on rebate for $5k brand new and the sport is $7k. Not sure if the sport is worth the extra $2k. Also how’s the reliability so far?

      Hardly any, its a smooth engine with a balance shaft. It just doesnt sound as good as a v-twin or 270 degree twin

    My local dealership has a 2023 that is still brand new with 2 miles on it for $4500 out the door. Really thinking about getting it. I was planning on getting either another mt07 or a tenere 700 but hard to pass up the Cfmoto for the price.

    Im considering picking one of these up. Seems like an overall great bike. Ive heard several people having problems with the gear indicator sensor. When you are cruising in 6th, the indicator will keep going from 6th to 1st and back to 6th continously. Some claim its an easy fix while others say its not. Have you experienced this?

    • @ryansrides9230
      @ryansrides9230  Год назад +1

      Great bike. The power torque after b6500rpm is very abrupt on full throttle but fun

    What is the hesitancy in using 6th gear in 90% of American motorcycle reviews I've watched? You were quite often hitting 70/80 mph and you didn't even hit 5th.😢
