Question of the Day 💡 How many videos have you made on your smartphone? Let me know. **** Learn How to Get Great Audio Quality using Your Phone HERE ➡️ ruclips.net/video/xRz4q3E2Xzo/видео.html
I make all my videos on my phone
Hello, I created all my videos using my IPhone 📲 As a beginner I think it is very important to start with what we’ve got !
50+ videos
ALL my videos have been made on my phone.
I have over 200 videos uploaded I have an iPhone
I've had multiple people who own cameras comment positively on the video quality of my videos. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10 recording in 4K. Always use the camera on the BACK of your phone. Can't wait to upgrade my audio with a better mic. Wishing all the smartphone content creators much success 💪🏾
How do you shoot with the back camera when you can't see if you're in frame?
T.y.mr.4everfit and keep on gettin it bro.
Honestly, I’ve been using my phone for the past 4 months to record my basketball content, and the quality is awesome!!
SWEET!!! Thanks for sharing with us!
killing it!
@@ThinkMediaTV trying too! Hopefully one of these days we can collab! Anyone in the studio a good shooter? 👀🏀
What is the name of your phone
Thanks… What is niceyrig with the mirror setup? I can’t find at all I need that!!! Help please…
Omar, of all the Think presenters, you are my favorite. Very concise and straight to the heart of things without being snotty or coming off with air of knowing it all.
Great gear video, again. And great tips on using b-roll
Your channel is my number one online class since 2015. You do a good job. Keep doing what you love.
Omar, thanks for the informative video. I"m a beginner RUclipsr. You're the first video I saw that actually showed where the micstand and phone is located when shooting a video live. I was so confused with other people who introduced the equipment they were using piece by piece, but you couldn't tell where their phone or mic was when shooting that particular video. Thanks so much for allowing me to see the full picture behind the scenes!
We kept waiting for the right time; the right gadgets; and the right software to start this channel. Did a lot of waiting and then we decided to just pick up our iPhone 12 and get started and stop waiting for the perfect storm. We have a camera now but our phone held it down!!! Edit: we still use our iphone especially for those times when lugging a big camera is awkward
Crushing it guys!!
Your biggest enemy is your own procrastination. Keep crushing it.
You got it!!
💯
100 percent agree.
Omar showed me step by step how to use tripods, 🎤microphones🎙 and camera📷 lenses when, for what and where to create really good and professional videos with my smartphone! Very clear and brilliant instructional video!
Thank you Omar! You’ve got my attention! I’m just starting building my “recording studio” on a budget. Thanks for the tips!!!
Love This! Thanks Omar. All of your tips were very helpful and much needed. Shalom Yall!
I appreciate y’all Omar, y’all are super encouraging.
I'm using an s21 ultra and before that it was an S10. The Pro video mode is a godsend as I can manually change iso, white balance, etc. It's like filmic pro, but built in. Also, that lens kit looks really good for the price. Will definitely be picking that up.
So helpful! You guys are the only ones doing these kinds of vids for us. Thank u!
I almost skipped watching this because I thought it was another product review. This was genuinely helpfully. Probably saved me hours of frustration because other RUclipsrs have said you can “just use your phone” which I’m now sure isn’t entirely true. To their credit they weren’t trying to tell you how to produce a video just that you don’t need a dslr. Thanks for the great video.
Thanks for the informative video and equipment recommendations! I appreciate it. So far I've recorded all of my videos on one or both of our smartphones... fortunately, we have multiple tripods. Now I just need to choose a mic.
I will be honest: I am having trouble with simple lighting. Sometimes I want a particular mood and I can achieve that fine. However, when I just want to do a straight host segment, I am having trouble and mostly that is because my studio is a very small room. So, my lights and camera don't have a lot of places to go. UGH. Additionally, the "studio" itself is pulling double duty being my eBay room for the time being and that is making things even tougher. Sometimes things look great. Other times they don't look as great as they could have been.
Fine tuning the craft is work for sure. When it comes to editing, pre-production, and content, I am there. My channel has a comedy element to it as well and I have that down too- but the lighting/camera is making me crazy.
BTW: I love your videos. Your on screen presence is nice, and informative. You present yourself like a teacher, not a game show host and I love that.
This is a practical content. I use my smartphone in recording my RUclips videos and as long as you use the right techniques and gear when shooting indoors or outdoors, you can generate smooth and good quality videos.
Your delivery is on point. Love it and keep it up!!
Wish I saw this last year, been using the selfie and didn't know about the mirror or cheap lighting.
Thanks for the tips. I’m just starting out on RUclips and I’m using the 2020 iPhone SE. I’m still learning the ropes, but you guys really know your stuff!!
I now have a Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra, but most of my videos were shot on my old Samsung phone (galaxy S7 edge). Lighting, audio (lav mic), and editing definitely helped with quality of the videos I shot on that phone. Now my videos are looking way more crisp with this new phone. The cameras are amazing!
Thank you for this! Just getting started vlogging for my business and this really helps
Hi Omar,
Thanks for sharing these awesome tips on You Tube equipment. Have a wonderful weekend. 🤗
I started my RUclips channel on Monday. It was my birthday but more importantly it was my goal date to do my first video as I am finishing a book to be published a year from now. I want to build a community around my book and my mission. I wasn’t “ready”. I didn’t have anything other than my iPhone, a flexible little tripod (that sat on my table on a stool), my kitchen windows for light, my content written out and me. I only did it because I promised myself that I would. And I’m old enough to have learned a long time ago that 80% of good enough is better than 100% of nothing. So, I did it and it’s raw and unedited but I did it. I started and stopped a half dozen awkward starts and in frustration I put my notes aside and just spoke to one person in the camera. It wasn’t a specific person. It was just a person in my mind whom I want to reach with my messages. I’m not worried about the mistakes and the unedited beginning and end. Because I did it and I know I’ll get better. Love this channel and thank you for inspiring!
Starting is probably the hardest part. For me, I’m working past being too critical of my videos. It’s a slow process for me, but I’m plugging along with my new hobby. I’m going to bounce to your channel for more details about your book project.
@@ithinkaboutthings9052 thanks for your comments. I don’t know anything about editing (but I’ll learn). I was happy that I got it all successfully uploaded. Dozens of encouraging and personal responses from that rough first try. I learned a long time ago that 80% of good enough is good enough. Appreciate you taking the time!
Im an author too. Looked at your page and it’s showing no content. What happened?
Great information Omar. I have an IPhone 7+ and yes, this old thing records in 4K. I’ll be looking into that lens kit recommendation because the 7+ is limited where lenses are concerned.
Yooo that $25 lens kit is clutch! Thank you!! I’ve been postponing starting my channel but these tips have been helpful.
I’ve been postponing too lol no more excuse
Yo this video was great! I’ve been trying to figure out for a while how to get better quality out of the videos that I am creating this will help a lot. Thank you.
Love the tips! Always trying to uplevel my video game when using my smartphone! Thank you 😊👍
Our pleasure!
I appreciate that you darken the background when you put text on the screen for accessibility and viewers who may have low vision.
Great video thanks. I’ve been already using my iPhone 13 pro to film. Really love the experience. Your tips for how to upgrade it will help me a lot and I can implement some of them almost immediately. Thank so much for this.
I use my phone and every video I made was with it. im impressed with the quality and how good the built in Mic is . more videos coming
Amazing tips as always! Thank you so much! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Think Media has the best advise ever....I am starting to make videos for my pest control business and with your help and advise, I will have great videos. Thanks Think Media Team
As always, great relevant info! I’m sure you covered this elsewhere, but recommendation for editing video on iPhone? Or desktop editor for iPhone video?
Terrific video Omar, thanks for sharing all those good ideas. I'll be using an inexpensive iPhone SE 2nd generation for my first videos.
I needed this video. Thank you! 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks Omar 🙏🏼 This is something I wish I knew back before getting started for sure. I am curious about the softbox you’re using with your cob light. The light linked comes with a round one, but the bulbous shape of the one you have seems to spread the light a bit more.
Wow so timely!! I was thinking if this. I wanted a small upgrade since finances may not allow for a full camera. Soo good. Thank you!😩🕊‼️💯
As expected nice content.
for the upload thank you.
watching it is enjoyable.
Bro thank you. This was everything and more!
I own a 8plus . It shoots okay videos for now but I do want to upgrade phones soon . These tips are great. I’m definitely gonna get these items to make my video and audio quality better. Thank you so much
Great advice I wish I heard months ago! Thanks Omar
Thanks so much for these videos. Now to learn more and get my first video posted
Best channel I’ve come across in this niche! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you Omar and Think Media team!
I peep the Maverick City Music hat... HAD TO SUBSCRIBE! God Bless you dude!
wow this video was so informative, who knew videos could be such high quality on iphone with just a few accessory upgrades! I'm now just wondering what people are using to edit their videos? thanks and keep up the good work:)
Thank you, great advice!
I just found this channel today and I'm very grateful for your content. I use a vivo V21e and it does shoot 4K front and rear
You rock! Thanks for the great advice!
Great video full of info, need this kit if you do videos
Thanks Omar, another string of pearls of wisdom! I'll look up one of the lighting setups, as I get paid today!! I'm very pleased with my smartphone video quality (Samsung Galaxy A21s), though image stabilisation would be a good feature to have - any suggestions there?. I've been using the headphones/mic that came with the phone as a lav mic, with some foam around the mic to damp out wind, and that's worked very well but just invested in a decent lav mic with a long lead that I'm looking forward to using to take slightly more "step back" clips. Very useful video, as usual from Think Media.
Thanks so much think media for the tips, it help me alot because am planning to start my RUclips channel soon
fabulous video. Lots valuable info!
Found this video very helpful!! Thank you!! I’m debating on getting the iPhone 13 vs Samsung Flip…the one w better video/picture quality.
Perfect timing, I just sold my A7ii and waiting on new camera releases to buy, in the mean time I have ben filming on my iPhone 12 Pro Max.
If you crush it with your phone you will kill it with a camera! 💪🏼
Love you dude, thanks for this
Thank You. I really appreciate this content
I’m using iPhone to shoot all my vlogs too! Thanks for all the great tips! 😊👍🏼
Thanks for this video. I'm just getting started and this helped a lot
Hey how’s it going with creating content and getting your channel going?
Thanks for these tips! I have an iPhone 11 that I use to film. And the thing is, I’m fairly new to iPhone so I’m sure I’m not even utilizing it as much as I can. My channel is very small and growing very slowly, so hopefully these things will help! I’m adding those lenses to my Christmas list!!
Always a helpful video! Thanks
Thank you for this!!
Thank you for this great info !
Love this video and it was so helpful. I have a new hiking channel and will be shooting the majority of my videos outside on hiking trails with my smartphone. What mic would be best for that? Thank you!
The best thing that you can do with your smartphone is getting a gimbal and external microphone. The camera quality is already *high quality* but stability and audio are crucial elements that need to be maintained in order to retain audience retention. It will be your *best* investment when filming on your smartphone.
i use my phone and i agree with you
@@kurlymeka How is your channel going? :)
@@ThreeTwentyTech I am not sure if it is good or bad at this moment I have over 200 subs and over 500 hours watch time I started in May 2021. Would you say that’s good
@@kurlymeka that's honestly really impressive. You're on track to hit 1000 subs and get monetised within the next few months if you keep improving.
My only advice to you is compare yourself to who you were yesterday and not to someone else. It's important to understand that everyone grows at different rates and comparing yourself to others will only leave a sour taste in your mouth. Goodluck!
@@ThreeTwentyTech awe thank you I will take your advice
I'm still using an iPhone SE from 2016... but I'll buy the lens kit and just put them on my Super Nintendo to shoot my videos... Thanks for the advice man!
Tht phone is a beast! I had 128GB, shot a lot of awesome footage w/it, miss it
That’s dope on the usb mic set up
Hi Omar . Thanks for this valuable video. What settings did you set your iPhone at to shoot the video ? 4K 60p?
Thanks for the info
Great to get this information my friend. thanks
I have a fine Canon, but I only use my iPhone X, waiting for iPhone 14 to upgrade next year, love technology and your ideas! Thank you!
I'm crushing it with my old Samsung Galaxy S4 - no joke, mounted in a 2-axis gimbal with a quick release mount easily to switch between steady handheld, and static shot mounted on a floor tripod.
Super useful video. Thanks for this
Dude. I built my whole channel around my iPhone 8 and I’m still using it. Those lenses were all I needed.
Omar is awesome! Thanks to everyone on the team
Great video, thank you!
This Type Video is Most important for Buggers! Thanks for Making 🙏
Thank you great tips !
Currently have iphone 10 :) i loved this videos soo much! Sooo helpful!!
Great information! I need to get moving with my iPhone 12. Thanks
Thank you so much Omar. I just hit 1k subs after 20 videos on my iPhone and always looking for ways to get more out of it. Stay blessed!
Great tips! Thanks!
Really great information. Thank you.
Thanks for an informative video! I'm approaching 40 videos uploaded/scheduled on my channel, and all of them are made with my iPhone 11PRO Max . I'm pretty happy with the quality and the 3 lenses performance for most situations I make shootings in. If I feel like I need more options for the camera adjustments, I most probably get the Filmic Pro app. I like the sound also and especially the "sound zoom" feature wich is just a unique one ! The only problem, of course, is the wind. It would be so nice to have kinda' "dead cat" straight on the phone, a bit like those put-on lenses for the camera! I use also lightning-cable lavalier microphone and the wireless mic too. Except the better wind protection and filming at a distance more than some 10ft , the quality of pure sound is not really any better with these external mics compare to the 2 in-built mics in the phone. Thanks for a good advise on the lights. Have fun everybody! Linas
For a long time I was using my iPhone 6 and wanted to upgrade to either a new iPhone or a camera to film my tutorials. But then I decided to go with the iPhone 12 Pro Max. I don't think I'll need the lens shown in this video, but I'd really like to get the light kit.
JUST GREAT AS ALWAYS !!!!!
THAT WAS REALLY HELPFUL.
Thank you for this sir. Very helpful
Thank God! This is sooo on time!
Thanks for the tips. Im a newbie but took your advice and got the lenses and the Diety microphone. I need to upgrade my lighting and need work on B Roll. I got the Iphone 10 but my vids are not even close to being crisp yet
Thank you for this information! I just started my new channel with my phone camera I have recorded 5 videos but the quality is not that great. I will definitely try this!🥰
Thanks bro! Its super helpful!
Great information! Thank you! I’m just thinking about starting my own RUclips channel. I watch a lot of RUclips.
I have used and continue to use my iPhone 7 for years now. I don’t have any new lenses, but I have a purple panda lav mic and a neewer shotgun mic. I like the shot gun much better. All of my editing on iMovie in the phone. I personally don’t like the 4K on the iPhone 7 it looks too hypersensitive to me so I do everything at 1080 and 30 FPS.
Good stuff, thanks. It looks like you have a small field monitor mounted in a bracket on top of the smart phone. Is it really a monitor or possibly a light fixture. I enjoy some more details on that. I find that one of the problems with using my Iphone 12 is that while the back camera is pretty good it does not have anywhere near the features of the phones front facing cameras but while you are using those very good cameras you can't see what your cameras are seeing. A field monitor solves this problem but my Feelworld F6 Plus is twice as big as the phone itself.
I'm using a Samsung Note 10+. The s-pen makes a great remote shutter. I use a lavalier mic or a Blu Yeti depending on the setting.
This channel is the best videography channel I've ever seen !!!
THANK YOU!
Awesome.Great stuff.
Great vid thanks !
