Not to sound corny but this shit sounds like the very essence of real hiphop. I've been waiting for something like this since the 90s. I've always been a big fan of rap groups, Public Enemy, Onyx, you name it - and of course Wu Tang are goats. These days it's mostly solo stuff, few groups but not like the 90's. To see the talent in this group is unreal. I listen to shit people call 'mumble' rap, I'm still big into that Soundcloud rap stuff, I love all kinds of hiphop but can't lie, stuff like this Coast Contra is the only type that hits something deep in me. I feel an odd sense of pride listening to them, and their beat selection is on point. If these guys aren't huge by this time next year, I give up on humanity.

I absolutely love Rio, really has that deep vibe. He looks like he holds a lot of Wisdom, then when he opens his mouth you hear the wisdom. I love how he's always talking about his struggle, I think it's important. Especially when he talks about being Spanish and African and how he embrace his two cultures. He can give others hope and pride to love themselves.
