Have you changed the footwell lights? My 2024 is different than you see on RUclips.

No I have not, mainly because the footwell lights have just the right amount of brightness, not too much but I can still see anything I might drop that lands in my foot space.

@@midwestphil2271is it true, you should wear gloves while dealing with the reflectors? I’ve heard once they get fingerprints; they don’t clean off.

This is mis information... I did exactly what he said. You have to apply pressure to the back of the socket, if not it spreads them apart. You have to drop the map light console in order to apply the pressure needed. FYI.

Well, obviously since I didn't drop the console, but I easily installed the new LED bulbs my scenario was true. However I know that if you try to reinstall the old original halogen bulbs you may in fact have to remove the console because they are much smaller and the socket does move around a lot. The LED bulbs are so much longer and wider they just slid right in for me.
