the really cool thing is... the longer you have been listening to the show, the funnier it is for you. i hear them say something funny about something they did/said on a show they did like 10 years ago and ill laugh my ass off. i feel a sense of kinship when i get the joke and no one else near me does. Stern doesnt hold a candle because his schtick is too practiced and fake. Opie & Anthony are the same, but boring too. these guys are real. i havent missed a day in 15+ years except during a bout of food poisoning. i hope they NEVER go off the air! well not til im dead anyway.
I wish they still stuck to this. The advertising is now longer than their awesome conversations and it is over political especially around this time. I miss my gadzooks.
I listen to them back when they were Y-100. I have not lissened to them for a while since - about 5 or 6 years. I miss them.
