Looks like they now have bearings on the pivot. Great stuff.
LuvThemKnives now I really got to get me one of those too !
nevermind I see you ordered it from powercutlery. I ordered a orange g10 Ganzo G729 (paramilitary 2 look alike) 12.99 flash sale www.gearbest.com/pocket-knives-and-folding-knives/pp_267526.html
I'm from Europe and been buying Ganzo knives for like 4-5 years now, never been disappointed with them. I wish I had powercutlery for here in the UK, seems like a great service they offer, especially when these knives are so cheap already. It's weird to think that just a couple of years ago Chinese knives were considered garbage but the materials and quality control is so much better now. I think Sanrenmu and Ganzo had a lot to do with that.
Thanks LTK, I'll be picking these up! :)
Amazing. Ive just ordered a F7542-cf and now Im beating myself up!. But wait a min, they are 15 quid!!. I just might order this after Ive pressed comment. Im becoming a collector thanks to you and Ganzo. God Bless.
jeff smith Thanks
ALL Ganzo knives are easily adjusted. All you need is the little torx set.
What can i say, another winner from Ganzo. They are really kickin ass
People who dislike the Tri-Ad lock for self defense say its too stiff and that the whole point of getting an Axis lock and a compression lock for self defense is that these last two lock are smoother to open and close which means they are easier to open under stress. So I ask, whats the point of getting a Benchmade and a Spyderco if I can get the same smoothness of a $20 knife? Spyderco and Benchmade are nothing more than proud carry knives in my opinion.
Benchmades are overpriced, and so are Spydercos, but Spyderco just has melted down crayon handles and a thumb hole instead of a stud. Like I've always wanted to try a Spyderco, but jesus you pay so much just for that name. Every Spyderco looks like a weird diving knife. Ganzo has a Spyderco delica copy for 17$ I've been thinking about trying. Benchmade I can justify a little more for their free sharpening service and great lifetime warranty plus cool designs, but still very overpriced.
This is BY FAR the best Ganzo has to offer. It is an original design, ergonomically perfect, with ball bearings and the G-lock is smooth as never before. Pure win.
I forgot to mention the pocketclip. Best ever!
Is it an original design? I have no clue
I'm gonna buy both of those and switch the back spacers. Orange and black. Camo and orange. BOOM
Adam Morgan No no .... It’s bada Boom 💥 !!! Lol
I did something similar with my old 753 between the CF and orange G10. The CF came with dark gray coated clip, backspacers and blade. The Orange G10 was bright satin blade, backspacers and clip. The Orange scales look bad-ass with the dark blade and backspacers, and the CF looks super classy with the bright blade and spacers. I didn't switch the backspacers though.
Adam Morgan you wanna be seen or not mate?
Vesela Lešina I gotta give em a fighting chance at least.
Re: Ganzos are all 440C...Ganzo G714 is made of BRD 4116. The newer F6802AL (aluminum) is also BR4116. As a point of comparison, the Cold Steel Pro Lite is also made from BRD4116. I have no idea how it compares to 440C or any other steel.
Sounds good. Apparently it comes from Germany, at least Cold Steel makes a point of emphasizing that. I should do some cut testing but I want to learn how to properly sharpen first.
Over 95% of their line is 440c, is that better?
This is my edc. I love the action, the look and the ergonomics. $18 and free shipping from amazon with black g10 scales. If they start making it in better steel I'll buy that too, but I kind of like it being 440c just because I don't hesitate to abuse it.
For around 10% of the price of that bench made It’s un believable! And they’re increasing the quality unlike bench made that has unbelievable quality issues. Absolutely the best deal in the knife industry today!
Mr P , Benchmade has indeed tightened up there QC in the past few years, I know as I handle many of them.
They are fantastic aren't they, but sometimes you recommend something then you nervously wait praying you haven't gone to early.but so far nothing but good things said.but boy it must be even more intense the amount you do and recommend at the higher prices.hats of big man it does take nerve.thanks for mentioning my channel again.the top of the morning ltk your wee mate paddy.😀👍☘
Best knife reviewer on RUclips!! 🙌
Ganzo knives are like candies. I can't help but collect them like trading cards.
I received the CF version a few days ago (Pcutlery) and what can I say, it is excellent! Get them while you can. Thank you LTK and Paddy.
Knife review with bandaid on thumb? I trust thus guy already. If you haven’t nicked your thumb, you haven’t had a knife long enough.
I get a cut once a week from just playin with my collection. The scars are part of the collection, some of these smooth actions seem straight bloodthirsty though Lol!
Love the FB760 series. Already had the FB7603-OR. I bought an FB7601-BK. The G-Lock on my 01 is much stiffer but it drops shut. Blade is solid. No blade play, no lock rock. Great fidget toys.
Ganzo did a good job making the g lock smother, but the main difference in smothness is more due to better tolerance on their pivots.
It has Ball Bearings. It's just not listed in the description
Thanks, LTK, for a great video. I ordered mine 4 hours ago. Power Cutlery was sold out but there were some on eBay and it turns out that seller was Power Cutlery and the price was the same. Can't wait.
Our older Firebirds model number started with G, then they went to FG, then to FB. I got the (G)753 back when you reviewed them, my first Chinese knife. I have to say my old 753 blade grind is as good as some ZT's. Looks like they might have blown the choil/plunge grind, but $20? I believe it was Birdshot IV (if it wasn't you) that compressed the springs so the lock wasn't so stiff, this looks BM smooth. So you're saying they're using _bearings_ now? _Great googly moogly._ Kershaw's not getting nails in their coffin, they're getting screws.
The same model in smaller version would be great.
Oh cool you use powercutlery too! John is a great guy. He will get any knife I want in any of the brands he gets them from which is just so cool. Great guy. And great prices.
Them Ganzo knives have certainly come a long ways since their inception, and they were always so good for the price! I wonder, at the rate I'm witnessing their progression, how long before they surpass Spyderco, Benchmade, Cold Steel, etc., at a third a price?
Love love that orange model. Now i just have to paint the blade blue
Thanks for the show LTK!
I took my FB7603-BK apart yesterday, and these knives do have bearings in them. The same quality bearings that I've been finding in much higher priced knives lately.
Steve Kluver There you go. That explains the improvement in the action. Thanks
You're welcome. I'm pretty sure that the spring is a little lighter as well. Making the G-Lock's pulling back, so much smoother and easier now. As soon as I get a chance. I am going to open up an older Ganzo, and measure that spring to compare. I will also check to see, if the springs are interchangeable with older Ganzo's. I think I'll start with my F720. I really like that knife, but the G-Lock is a real pain.
I think I see bearings in there...
rockets4kids You’re correct
I got the orange one, and yeah, it is a fabulous folder. Just be careful when closing it because if you have a bigger meatier hand you cant slam it closed as it will knick your left inner palm swell. This is because the tip of the blade just barely fits in at the very end of the knife. So if the handle is pressed in your palm slightly, it will just knick it when closing the blade.
I have the orange and the cf and their my favorite knives under 40.00
this is great. i’m glad i watched this before i bought another knife. thanks so much man!!
Very smooth ganzo due to its ball bearings!, good model.
Regards!:
The only other one of my Ganzo’s that drops that good is the G720 because the blade is so large and heavy. Glad to see they improved the
Lock.
I can tell you for fact that this model contains 2 cartridge ball bearings on each side of the blade (At least the one I got did). Mine did not come that smooth out of the box. I took mine apart (along with the Sanrenmu LAND 910Plus (also has ballbearings), G704, G746, G729) to sand down the tang and G-lock parts to polish everything out with 2000grit.
The work that I've done on all these Ganzo and Sanrenmu have made them quite a bit more smooth.
My only disappointment was a stripped clip screw. However on this model, the clip is embedded in the scales (non-reversable) and not a whole lot of places for it to go.
Josh K Thanks for the comment. I finally took one of these apart also. Got bearings alright. I’ll be doing an updated video on these soon. Thanks
I am really liking the look and specs on this model. I am going to grab a 7603cf in the next couple of weeks and get a review up.
I can't keep up with you and Paddy.
Ganzo is changing the game!!!
Damned, I just got a box from China and never thought of getting one of these. Instead I got a shitty G743 ☹ Gotta pay more attention to wee Paddy from across the shuck 😄🍀
I didn't know about that site, thanks LTK! Nice Ganzo's!
Ordered
Hi, they have a new model FB7611, will it be reviewed?
Sir E-Brum Yes I will review it.
Ordering one now
I've been riding that "I got a Ganzo" train for a few days now.
Mean while that LEATHERMAN Skeletool KBx that I baught at the same is sitting in the corner feeling inferior.
Dammit I got an older version with a plastic and bronz ish washer.
I think Ill buy another one so that I can have 2 bronze washers, in my favorite knife.
I really wish they would have made the clip reversible. Other than that, I love the direction GANZO is going.
Have you seen the new super wide blade ganzo that just got put on powercutlery? Pretty cool looking. I get it Monday in camo. And bestech lion which I think I decided to get after I saw your review
are they using ball bearing washers or what changed? sh*t to achieve such smoothness they have extremely tight tolerances. thanks for showing, now i'll be buying.
Yes, they are ball bearing (at least according to Gearbest site). I have a carbon fiber one on the way- slow boat from China, so I'll see for myself in 4-6 weeks :-(
Jeffrey Dokter, I haven't grabbed one yet but apparently they are bearing pivot builds. One of the import sites has a disassembled pic showing the bearings and races.
Bearings.

Wow This amazing. This knife is Smooth as butter. This A big mac the XXL luxury menu, for the Freakin' price of a small hamburger menu, BY MCGanzo, ( PS:Question how about that G-Lock ) , Thanks I LuvThemVideo Reviews, Nu Weet ik tenminste wat ik koop, Altijd een goede Deal, Groeten uit Nederland.
Hey man I really dig your channel. I have a new channel in the same field. I could use any feedback I can get. I'm still getting the hang of all off this. Thanks
Good video, Wow I LuvThemGazos
how long does ganzo take to ship ?
Evandence T If you get them from Power Cutlery? They ship the same day or the next. You get it in 3 days. Gearbest takes around 2 weeks to arrive.
Like I always say you can't go wrong with a ganzo. Ever since they stepped up their quality I don't see a reason to spend so much money on a Benchmade when I can get multiple ganzos for the same price
👍🔪
