This was lovely, we definitely need to hear these conversations and thank you for sharing such a diverse group of people. Definitely need another feminist discussion on this channel!
Please turn this into a series. This was beautiful to listen to.
My daughter sent me your song (As good a reason)…at first I was confused - I thought the message was that I was full of “spite”…this conversation helped me understand that she realizes how much she values my (and my mother’s) strength. Thank you and this song is truly appreciated and beautiful ❤
I’m going to send it to my daughter because she mentioned to me the other day how her Dad is unappreciative of what I’ve done for the last 30 years…he’s a good man, a loving husband and father….but I get it. And I’m proud my daughter won’t settle for less than what’s perfect for her
I LOVE hearing women's voices, since we so rarely get a platform to talk about our experiences and our feelings. And I so appreciated hearing these women speak about feminism. Thank you Paris!!! Love your music too, of course--can't wait to hear more!!!
I would love more episodes in the future, esp highlighting women/femmes who aren't cis or gender conforming or those with disabilities both 'visible' and non-visible (such as autism)
One of the things that I believe isn't talked about enough is the woman and girls who were never catcalled or looked at in a certain way. It might seem like they were lucky by an outside observer. But in reality, as one of those girls (who is now a grown woman reflecting on her teenage years), I can tell you that it messes with us too. I felt unwanted, and like I had to change my outward appearance to try to get these strangers to notice me. It's a very detrimental thing that has been ingrained into the minds of so many young people by this patriarchal society. And that's not even going into the disgust and shame that I feel because I even thought that way while there were so many other individuals who wished it would stop for them. I realize this now, and I've worked on myself, but it's just something that I've barely seen spoken about, especially when it effects so many people, specifically minors
This was really wonderful; thank you so much for having these conversations! I especially loved that idea of running when you are a kid and that freedom of not thinking about your body, that was very moving.
hey my loves! Excited to watch this
Thank you for this, I love the respectful way you all spoke on these important issues
As a new and young mother, I feel so lucky to have a daughter that I may lift up how I never was. Also I'm discovering now the contradictions of wanting her to wear armor but also wanting her to live freely and unapologetically.
I was so excited to watch this and, even having experienced it first hand, watching it back was just so special. Thank you for including me in such a wonderful discussion with such wonderful ladies. 🥰👏
Thank you for being a part of it!! I feel so lucky to have been able to share that space and our thoughts together with you x
This is so beautiful... Love that, thank you ❤
This was absolutely beautiful to hear. I really wish that had more views because this is an important conversation to have
Thank you so much for making this happen! I love hearing from all these different perspectives
Nice
I never thought of aging discrepancies between genders. Thanks for the new perspective. 😊
