    I'd love to do a course that talks about design aspects and the dos and don'ts in web design. I've had to learn a lot of things myself without an education, but due to my "I like doing this so I'm going to learn everything I can as I go + Jump in and do it" attitude I've not really found an online course that fits my needs. I find most courses start all the way at the beginning and repeat a lot of stuff I know. I also find them slow-paced and find myself spacing out. I've learned a lot from working with drag-and-drop builders over the last 2 years but I want to plant my feet for once.
    Any recommendations on solid quality courses?
    So happy I found your channel today. I love how you explain things while keeping on topic and to the point.

      For the website alone or the entire branding process?
      Assuming this company is in a developed country, and bundling in the brand work, low-to-mid 5-figures. $15,000-40,000. I could see that going as low as $8,000 for a smaller company or maybe for a younger designer but Rachel's experience is going to bring consistent results so she'll get much higher prices.

    Design is clear and looks playful but it misses all the opportunity that the media provides. At this current stage it is barely any different than a flyer design. What catapults a website design is what comes after this stage. Interactivity! . hyperlinks and form inputs are actuators. But this site needs an interactive theme absorbing the human perception and routing him/her to the destination. Please use the power of media in your designs (which in this case it is interactivity)

    • @rachelhurry3449
      @rachelhurry3449 Год назад +2

      That’s a lot of big words 😮 thanks for you input - keep in mind this is the “static” design phase. Interactivity and usability would theoretically come next in the prototyping phase, and then of course into development. 😊

      @denizorsel1029 Год назад +1

      @@rachelhurry3449 I just don't want newcomers call it a day when they are just done with this stage as you and I both know the web is stateful and design should propogate to all of those states (time series) in order to compose a consistent, meaningful experience. I actually never wireframe, I just scetch on paper and then go into the design. Otherwise I have to do the website 3 times: wireframe, design, developing.
      For me wireframing does nothing anyway and I wouldn't show that to the client anyway as it probably just confuses them.
