Is it ever explained why the witches tend to gravitate towards wearing flowers (calendula i thin one says in dishonored 2)?
Afaik they dont do anytjing for their magic.
Tjo its never quite explained how daud and dellilah can share their powers either lol

Daud and Delilah have a power called Arcane Bond, which can give lesser versions of their powers to their followers. There's no guarantee which powers those followers will inherit or if they'll get any at all. Daud said so in his diary and in Dishonored 2 you can overhear a pair of witches discussing it. I think the Heart mentioned it too. Similarly, Granny Rags had a power called Apprentice which only gives powers to one person (Morris Sullivan, the imperial torturer).

I'm here thinking that the flowers could decipher status, or who knows, maybe Delilah really likes flowers in her dress code?
There's also the Thorns magic spell which is plant based, and it could have a physical effect on the Witches using them.
