My life expectancy increased by 7 minutes after watching this soothing video and her voice is so calm and pleasant. Thank you . This is my dream project
That's a Texas belle. I hope she enjoys her beautiful garden with friends, family and handsome gentlemen for years and years to come. What a sweet lady. :-D Margarita time.
I wasn’t expecting to like this video, don’t know why, but this lady has such good taste & has created a place of beauty to be alone or with friends, or to entertain organizations & charity events in style.
Simply gorgeous. One day I will be able to sit out in my own beautiful garden and watch these videos on my ipad instead of sitting inside the house watching them on my desktop computer!
If you scratch the soil in San Antonio, you encounter limestone bedrock a couple of inches below the surface! I know, from being a kid there 😀 and from how they had to jackhammer it to put in our childhood pool.
So true, I moved to SA late in life and trying to create a landscape in NW San Antonio is next to impossible. A shovel hits rock at about 3-4 inches across my property!@@merrywalsh2809
Oh, just breathtakingly beautiful. I could spend many a twilight reading Garcia-Marquez and enjoying some ranch water. Reminds me a bit of the McNay center courtyard, a local art museum to San Antonio, TX.
It reminds of the Arab gardens in the Spanish peninsula. It is where that style originates. They loved water running and its sound. In the Medieval they were more sophisticated than many Europeans. They were finally expelled from Spain by the Catholic King and Queen but left many architectonical wonders behind.
This is the most beautiful courtyard I've seen in such a very long time in America. I'm seriously considering to design and construct a yard like this only much smaller. Lol. Mexico is the ultimate beauty that I've seen in all my travels. I've always been inspired by such artistic beauty and talent of their culture!!!
Claire, you are a lovely woman with much class. Your garden is a delight and I love that you entertain often. I’d happily cover the Margarita/Martini bar for ya anytime. Thanks for the smiles and wonderful tour. 🦋
Sensational ! Absolutely breathtaking !! If i was a Monarch Buttefly.I would choose Clair's mission-styled courtyard as a final resting place....;)))))
That has to be one of the most beautiful courtyards I’ve seen in America. However, as an artist and hobbyist historian, that is much more a Spanish/Moorish or even Ottoman than a Mexican inspired courtyard.
Spanish house 🏡 is the most beautiful in the whole wide world,so elegant, romantic ,I loved it perfect view green plants 🌱 is excellent combination Alleluia 🌸🦋💕Thank you so much for your beautiful video.its amazing 😉 💕💕💕❤️❤️❤️🦋🦋🦋🌸🌸🌸
you can take many ideas of this garden and courtyard and implement them in Florida. The plants and home ideas due to weather would look astonishing in Florida .If only more people in Florida would adapt these gardens in Florida.
I just posted this without reading your comment :Bette Davis,Joan Crawford ( who was from Texas ) or even later on Agnes Morehead. Many had beautiful Spanish Revival houses in California .
beautifull courtyard. I wish I had that land size!! I been trying to make my own courtyard in my 6000 sq feet lot. is coming along very nice but slowly!!.
That sounds fantastic! And garden building does take lots of time, but you said it best "coming along nicely." And it's always changing, too, so never "done."
Quite lovely! I am a horticulturist by trade and I am also a former landscaper... What a Paradise she has (had) created!! All I can think of is to say, it must be nice to be rich!!! Like many of my former clients, there seems to be no limits on all of the accessories she can purchase to give her garden that "it" look!!! (We call them "checkbook gardeners"... Too bad they didn't interview any of the people who actually made "it" happen!!!
Persian gardens were spread across the world by Islamic empire and later got known as Islamic gardens. They later got evolved into other gardens such as French and British gardens.
and later from the Islamic contact in Spain and Italy, and from Spain expanded to Mexico and other parts of Latin America, and later to the California, the American S.W. ,Texas .and also from Spain to Cuba and the Caribbean and into Florida,USA.

That courtyard adds 10 years to your lifespan. At least!

Well... I know money alone can't buy happiness, but this gets pretty darn close. Incredible home and love her passion for it.
Garden is as lovely as it’s owner.
Hacienda style is my favorite style. Patio is fantastically well executed. Thanks for sharing.
She’s living her best life

It certainly is a "feel god" go to video. Replayed it myself a few tines. After this my small rose garden is looking boring.
Simply gorgeous. One day I will be able to sit out in my own beautiful garden and watch these videos on my ipad instead of sitting inside the house watching them on my desktop computer!

I feel like I’m at the SA riverwalk looking at the courtyard. Beautiful…who needs a pool when you could have an aqueduct😊
Really good esthetic sense. Looks comfortable feelings.

Yep
Reuse of the limestone was a good idea.
Great outdoor rooms.
The main courtyard may be too busy.
Yeah she really lucked out on those free bricks and limestone chunks! Serendipity!!!
Beautiful place

What is that red flowering plant off the water aqueduct?
I think it is called Mexican Bird of Paradise (Caesalpinia mexicana) or Red Bird of Paradise.
escapefromobamastan thats it, thanks!
@@KWMc1952 I thought it was Hedychium... Maybe not...
Yes looks like the Haciendas turned to spa hotels in the Yuccatan
