WOW, THANK YOU So much .. I've been designing my backyard for over a year !!! . I know what I want out there.. but putting it where it needs to go. was always an issue, moving this over there. moving that over here. etc.. back and forth. The One thing you said. that made a huge difference and PUT it all together for me finally !!! was LOOK OUT YOUR WINDOW.. what do you see? what do you want to draw you out there? etc.. that is what I needed to do! and it all CLICKED together all of a sudden, and I knew where everything was to go now !! I can't thank you enough.. we are having a home built on a little over an acre of bare land. and I've been trying to design the yard with stuff.. just placement has been an issue!!!!

But I wonder what it would cost to get it all put down on a 3D design? I already know now where everything goes in the yard, what I want etc.. so I don't need that all designed out for me? just what I see as a 3D image so my wife can understand it much better?
Just found your channel. We’re in San Jose, CA, so we’re lucky to get to enjoy our outdoor space almost all year long (except for fire season). We try to add more onto our backyard every year. So far we’ve done a patio and a she shed. Would love to eventually cover the patio and put a small patio around the shed. Our backyard is definitely our happy place.

We have a decision to make soon as we are putting in a concrete pad and not quite sure where to go from there. came across your channel and really love the ideas but i have an honest question and super curious on your answer. wouldnt the outdoor spaces and water features get dirty very quickly by leaves and people mowing the lawn and grass flying up from the trimmers if they are not enclose by some type of structure like a bird cage for pools in florida. Ideally the designs i see you guys create are immaculate but i can see them potentially getting dirty very quickly when people are trying to maintain grass or leaves from trees flying in the area. Also i wonder about a lot of bugs biting people when trying to relax outside and sleeping in their nice landscaped backyard with no fenced protection of sorts. I wanted to see your thoughts on it because im looking to landscape my backyard soon =) Thanks again for reading and I love the content!

One thing you will also need to think about to help the selection of materials is color. Think about the color of your house. Will it change soon? Also, think about the color of the other features you are keeping. Unfortunately, a 3D software will require much learning to get decent, usable results. Obviously, the experts like Paradise Restored are already skilled. Maybe you can find a relative or friend who knows and can help; or just accept a collection of photos, drawings, and brochures.
