A solo hike on Helvellyn | Lake District

A solo hike on Helvellyn in the Lake District. The purpose of the hike was to test some new kit for my trip to the Alps next week, and spend some time in the fells alone. I had planned to wild camp but a mixture of "uninspiring" weather and very busy camping spots drove me to calling it off and driving home instead. fortunately I am lucky enough to call the Lake District home, therefore it was just a short drive home.
