VINWiki, Thank you for allowing us to come by to share some more of our fails.
As embarrassing as it is, your audience seem to love them!
We have now learned to embrace our failures hoping others will learn from them.
How or where do I apply to be a Valet Driver? Im a local in Atlanta and I have the credentials!
@Ken Norcott They scare us when we get those calls
Great story’s bro as always 💪🏾
I absolutely love your stories, Alex. Thanks for sharing them with us. Now for the downside, I had first suggested to Ed and Vinwiki that Randy Pobst do the next AMA. Then after we were introduced to Christopher Michaels and everything changed. Now you have me convinced that all 3 of you have to do an AMA. It would be epic since you have such incredible stories each time you appear.
I enjoy these videos a lot, thanks for making them!
thank you for posting this, i was just about to start doing some work
Same
I was about to nap...
RIP "some work"

Hmm I'm about to do some work and smoke this joint while I watch this vid.
I get you own a valet business but every time I watch your videos I feel so glad that I park my car myself
My lost car was track by *#LAWTOLLS* HE'S
a genius
Dont pay the hobos= dont feed the ducks
Very good way to look at it
haha gotta love the dodge just broke down on them. Gotta love dodge for their A spec reliability
Yep, just when i needed brakes pulling my 15,000lbs gooseneck cattle trailer ,as it doesnt have brakes itself, the ABS module failed in my ram dually. No cruise control or traction control. Benefits are i can have fun drifting the truck now and full power launches. Downfall is the 68rfe will not last any burnouts let alone drifting or do i care to spend the $350 and have my truck stuck at a dealer for 5 days as they need it there before ordering the piece and will not sell it to me personally.. They will not loan out their new 3500 duallies either as the used market is hot right now for them
Daimler quality followed up by FIAT ownership; soon to be a Peugeot/Citreon/Opel/FIAT product...what could possibly go wrong?
These valet stories are probably my favorite
Thank you for loving our stories
Come to our channel and listen to some of our other crazy stories.
Great shirt. Took me a minute to figure it out.
Ha didn't even notice it till I saw this comment. Lol same I had to read it twice.
@Jim The Raspberry get em!
Jim The Raspberry, you still don’t get it, so...
I know killers, you no killer
Stupid shirt
Got my car stolen in seattle and the general attitude was dont be mad your car is gone try and find out what drove the person to steal it. Cops said we needed to vote out our leadership in the city so they can actually help. I moved
The valet stories keep me coming back!!
Thank you for loving our stories
Come to our channel and listen to some of our other crazy stories.
let's be honest, the dodge magnum broke down because of dodge - not the owner not keeping up with the service records.
You are probably right
Well I mean at least the vehicle was able to get on the main roads at least, if it had been a Ford... maybe a block before it just broke because well Fords...
@@GoldPicard Uh, no
Thank you!!!!! We needed more stories man lol I did valet in 08 so I luv hearing these lol
I did valet for two years in Portland until COVID and I did overnight so I wouldn't have to deal with very many people.
I was getting paid 17 dollars an hour to park and retrieve about 4 cars a shift.
Covid messed up a great thing.
These are the types of stories that make me to NEVER want to use a valet.
Never let someone you don’t know and trust drive your car.
Let's see a guy "borrows" a car and every once in a while goes out and drives it for a bit for 6 or 7 hours. Dare i say drugdealer?
Maybe...not a very smart drug dealer if they steal a car that someone is sure to miss as soon as they finish dinner, and then make deliveries with it in the same night and same city though 😂
One time when I was a bus boy, the valet let me park a new Corvette, and it definitely surprised me that he took that risk so casually. I never asked to drive anything, but I'm sure we talked about cars a good bit whenever I had time to go out for a break. We are both lucky that worked out, because the temptation was real, to take the new 'vette on the street and let it rip. I just parked it responsibly in the back lot though, wasn't that hard-up for adrenaline. The end
Bonus point for including shrewd negotiation
Absolutely one of my favorite story series... thanks for telling another story
You are quite welcome Mike. I share other stories on my channel a few times a week. Check them out!
We turned the clocks back in Europe and I got a nice surprise - VinWiki story one hour earlier. Anyway - Mr. Farrington with great stories as per usual.
This is by far my favorite guest and favorite topic
Thank you Tristan
I absolutely love his valet stories. I want to see a podcast of a new valet fail stories daily or weekly. please keep bringing him back.!
We have our new channel where we share stories a few times a week!
@@ValetStories perfect! +1 sub

@@ValetStories for sure sir I got your page now so will continue! You have had many great tale! Keep that style! 🤘TEXAS!!!
Depending on location, security, cars don’t get stolen every year...
100% correct.
Love your vid keep it up
Thanks from makeing great vids
Alex's stories are always great
Thank you Chris
I was a valet at the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City for a year and a half. Two cars got stolen while I worked there. Hilariously enough, they were BOTH Honda Accords.
Easy cars to steal at the time.
Thanks for another interesting and entertaining video
Thank you so much charlie
This is the guy that got me hooked on vinwikki first video I seen was his first valet video been here ever since
I love VinWiki! They got me into luxury cars again
...Again?
I think these valet stories are my favorite on the channel.
I love this guy
Yo another valet stories. Another Good series.

4:34 that's a pretty cool shot with the Mercedes logo on the building in the background
That's the Mercedes Benz Stadium. Home of the Atlanta Falcons & Atlanta United.
my valet company i work at has been running for about 3 years i believe. haven’t heard of one car being stolen or even broken into
Yeah but is it in Atlanta
@@mdogzino yeah but mine is in Detroit 🤣🤷🏼♂️
It’s rare that many problems happen to his company . To much drama .
As a former valet I can relate to most of the stories this guy tells 🤣
Aye man what city ? I'm from Philadelphia
Yes these stories are crazy
Orange County and LA
I’ve valeted in OC and Long Beach and haven’t seen any of this shit lol
I wouldn't mind if my Jeep was stolen and never returned. Guess I'm making a visit to ATL.
As Ed said "There's no one I'd rather sell a car to than an insurance company"
Wrap it around a pole while driving on ice or less than legal tires. Mke aure you have full coverage. Problem solves itself.
@@brandoncaldwell95 I'm not sure what the situation is the in US, but where I live an insurance company would 100% deny your claim if you fail to keep your car in roadworthy condition
@@jackpalmer2549 they don't care here. I know of many cars less than legal. Hard to believe as how laxed the requirements are for my state. I know of a person who traveled to quickly on street tires in mud with loose gravel at a curve with pavement. Gone through a phone pole totaling the jeep wrangler as inability to stop. Also know of a few roll over accidents with bald tires in the rain. Total loss on a sh*tbox vehicle only worth maybe $500. Insurance covers the incidents without issue. They don't investigate the legality of roadworthness. Just who is at fault and what happened to cause the incident.
If 2 vehicles got into an accident though stickered to be road worthy and the person admits to the vehicle not being road worthy, the problem can be presented in court if the person tried fighting a ticket if presented one. For instance, had a person go through a few street sign poles. He claimed he lost control and tried hitting the brakes to stop but couldn't. In reality, his turned to look into the back seat at their family member while entering a curve. Tracks on the ground shown the straight path and no braking applied. When family came to help pull the vehicle out that had minimal damage, no tow truck required, they tried claiming "oh these SUVs have terrible brakes. I have one like it and can say it doesnt like to stop. Been in the shop here recently for the problem they couldnt fix". To an officer, it says the vehicle was not road worthy yet used for it. The officer can take the vin as its pulled when running the plate, along with Insurance card info, to the dealer to confirm if the vehicle has been there. Their answer can transfer blame if a record is pulled from the dealer on its service.
That was your shrewd negotiation???
Ed would be absolutely ashamed 🤦🏾♂️
8 seconds ago?? last time I was this early was for this very video...
Thanks for the F shack. Love, Dirty Mike and the boys.
Love this
How do I sign Up to be a Weekend Valet driver? I drive Stick exclusively, and work with a dealer to pick and drop off cars from auctions.
The best way to prevent a car from been stolen is to get a manual… except it also bothers quite a number of valets…
Should be a requirement for a valet to know how to drive a manual. That’s like my 66 Chevy a mechanic broke my turn signal lever trying to turn the wipers on
Damn state inspection
Not gonna lie, when I heard "I think we settled right in the middle" I thought he was gonna pull an Ed and say what he wanted to pay (2-3000 not 4800 lol)🤣
I worked for 2 valet companies simultaneously for a few years. The money was great. Unfortunately COVID put a huge damper on things
Yes we are slowly getting back to work
back with my favorite
I love Atlanta so much.
Alex you’re one the best on here! Come back again soon
My Man Alex
Love the shirt lol
On my next video, I have another cool shirt.
Alex is a good dude. My car got nicked once while his valet had it, took care of it professionally.

“There’s nothing we can do about homelessness” Finland has entered the chat
Yea the Finnish hobos freeze to death every winter so no problemo.
Don't really know what they did but homeless people get put first in line for rental houses or do they force people to take in homeless people or something?
@@mikey2111 they pay their rent lol it's insane and embarrassing that the welthiest country on the planet has its own citizens living on the street we treat homeless people worse than homeless dogs
@@mikey2111 They nationalized housing: The people, through their government, decided that they would just get rid of homelessness. There are apartments available to the homeless at zero cost. They saved money and obviously helped a great deal of people by doing it.
there's no homenesses in my country.
“This was hilarious, my managers car got stolen”
Plot twist the reason why the building would not tell who the person was, was because the person worked for the building
Nice shirt. Jay z quote..
This dude is awful. As an owner/manager of a business, you need to take personal responsibility for any shortcomings of your employees. This guy consistently says "totally the valet's fault." My guy, it's all your operation. If they're messing up, that means that you have already messed up somewhere (hiring that individual, not properly training them, etc). Consistently bags on his employees, says he doesn't want to have to pay them, and takes no responsibility for anything bad that happens.
Look at his other videos on this channel if you think I'm wrong.
Alright
Yeah this guy is something else. Either he’s a terrible boss or full of shit with his stories
Comprehensive insurance costs a whopping ~$5 a month, and it covers stolen vehicles. ALWAYS get comprehensive insurance, especially when you live in a city.
What are you talking about. I spend hundreds of dollars a month to insure two cars for two drivers and only one is even full coverage.
@@nickdaveNDM My mustang cost $5.56 a month for just comprehensive back when I didn't drive it, currently for liability, comprehensive, and full coverage it's $79. Sounds like you could use some insurance shopping
This guy is the nicest boss ive ever seen lol a grand guy
Thank God a break from election news/stress!
I drive a 2005 Taurus SE, no options, not even ABS, with over 218k miles on it and the idea of leaving it running and unattended even in my driveway to run in and grab my forgotten lunchbag is unthinkable. And this is an isolated trailer park where the only people with opportunity live here and would be homeless in an instant for messing with it.
Dude drove that Mercedes around the same general area for 6 hours and the cops never spotted it ?
I LOVE this man’s valet stories 😂
I do enjoy the Valet stories. You can't make this stuff up. Stuff happens, it is how you handle it makes all the difference.
You know what I love about fords, I can lock it while running and just use the key pad on the door to get back in. Also, anyone with a Ford, if you hit the last two buttons on the door keypad all of the doors lock. If you didn't know, now you know.
Great story! If you guys can you should see if you can get Kyle from pka down to tell his stories if possible
I should’ve watched this video before I went to bed 😴😴
I'm sure glad I don't live in Atlanta as it appears to be a hotbed for stolen cars.
I literally wake up mad everyday when my car isn’t stolen I want that Supra insurance money
This is absolutely hilarious. If ever I own a high dollar car a valet will never get my keys. I worked at and/or managed 4 car washes/detail shops. 2 Quicklubes and was a lot porter in the late 80s. We ran the absolute fucking hell out of every car we got our hands on. Vettes, Mustangs, Camaros & TAs, Porsche 911 Turbos, M3s, occasional exotics, etc. Stole coke, weed, cash, guns, jewelry, CDs, leather jackets. A sign clearly stated "Not responsible for valuables left in car"
Fuckin rich people.
I don’t get people who leave their keys in their car. I don’t care if you’re at a gas station, if you’re just gone for a few seconds, whatever, just turn the car off and take the keys!
Do you valet your car?
Do you?
After being a bellman at a hotel, I don’t valet or have my wife valet!...
ED BOLIAN; Please write a book on locating, identifying, financing, purchasing, and insuring exotics & supercars. Basically "the Logistics of the Supercar Market." Include a section on verifying if they're misrepresented, then what to do next, if they are. There's good money in authorship, hope you like the idea. Thanks Ed.
Because it's so difficult to shut off a car and then start it again later
We try to train our valets to understand this.
@@ValetStories always enjoy your stories; and good luck with training kids
@@kevinbarry71 Kids are correct
thank you for the support
Ed would have shrewdly negotiated the car being stolen increased the value of the car and the owner should pay him
Another One!
He had some birds in them speakers that he owed on
The year b4 I worked I was told about this crazy guy who stole a nfl players x5 for a night. Smoked in it ran up the miles dented the front bumper & had the nerve to bring it back. Guess how he got caught....left his mixtape in the car 🤦🏽♂️ lol gets fired, year later he shows up and I let him in without knowing it’s the guy that’s banned for life
Alex is one of the best Vinwiki guests love his stories
Thank you Connor
I kinda want to work for this guy, seems like he runs a great Valet company.
I almost cried when I crashed my Ford probe, So I can relate to the one in Vallet
Used your tip about tips $10 ahead $10 going out kept my charger right out front
Grand theft auto no Matter the cars price should be on the same level as kidnapping and there would be a lot less stolen cars
that lawyer ,,,, purpose ,,,,,, he did it on
Its a good day to have a good day
That's when somebody knows they got money and some hella good insurance to pay that vehicle off
“But the valet is completely at fault because he left the car running in front of the homeless person”
This guys business has allot of problems
Yes we do have a lot of problems but we also have very good times also. This is from a business that is over 23 years old
We got insurance!!! Fuck it
Im a little confused here. Why would they want to replace the security module on the range rover? If I'm not mistaken all you need to do is , program a new remote and remove the old key from the system so the old key does not start the vehicle anymore . That's how I did it with my bmw when it was stolen .
OHHHHH YEAHHHH.
Brendan
It’s called take the keys out of the cars and put the keys on a carabiner. 🤦🏻♂️

Ironic, since Jay-Z is more businessman than rapper nowadays
