Incredible. This was the lineup (era, from '85 to '87) that kept the band alive. Ellis Hall is an amazing song writer and the band delivered as always.

This is sooo great for me. I have seen Tower probably more than 20 times in my life and I play bass in a TOP tribute band. I have never heard a recording where I could hear the bass as well as this concert. At first I didn't even think it was Rocco the sound on this is so different from what I'm used to hearing. So much better.

This is awesome! So many gems in this one... I mean come on, they dropped "Baby's Got the Power", "Boys Night out" and "Doggin' at the Cathouse" on them! If that's not enough, we get a drum solo by Ellis Hall, a LIVELY crowd, and a double encore! Rare stuff. Thank you for this - tak for at uploade!

This is a nice line up. Mick Mestek sounds great, and Ellis brings something special to vocals.

Wow!! what a nice thing to find,,I'm liking the 80's Tower more and more, ok, everything's a bit too fast but hey, what the heck, Rocco had just re-joined and it sounds like he's pumped to be back..E was one of their best lead singer's , I dig him as much as Hubert Tubbs, Lenny, Tom and Larry..Count on Me..man , that bass line!! Badass

Tower of Power is the last band ever to play at My Father's Place in Roslyn, NY. A beloved club that hosted thousands of artists before they were famous. That club went out with a lot of class for the last show.

Great recording of this lineup thanks! Heard them in Montmartre a couple of times, we also made a video recording, but only one camera, and lost it long time ago. There was so much expection built up because they had cancelled several times, but it sure lived up to the expection - SMOKING!

TowerOf Power; my favorite band. I remember being SO impressed with Ellis Hall whom I saw them with at The Bottom Line in NYC; They Knocked Our Socks Off! “Have Mercy… Just A SMIDGE!”- Ellis Hall. So overjoyed & overwhelmed to see all these Amazing Gems that have surfaced after all these years featuring the many great incarnations of the incredible entity known as TOWER OF POWER!!!

  • @ScrantonTed
