    The arm wrestling world misses Pushkar. Taken from us too early.

    WOW, hook and drag, into a top roll, and finally a shoulder press..... FANTASIC!

    A match between two greats with no 5 minute-long setup nor a strap. Miss those days.

    I saw him in person, not on cable....if that's what you meant. Didnt know he was on cable lately. Once I realized he was there, I watched him very closely, and he is a arm wrestling "scientist" if you know what I mean. He watches every match like an analyst. Never misses a thing. Always learning. A real "afficionado" of the sport.

    Brzenk drove all these Russians to abuse steroids today.

      That's fucking hilarious...and true. And if Alexey ever gave John a rematch when he wasn't tired or hurt John would've taken him down.

      Wasn't Brzenk coming off an injury when he battled Voevoda?

      Voevoda's win was legit. What bothers me is that he was in the sport such a short time and you will hear people talk about him like he's the GOAT

    • @soi68

      John was entering under 95kg and he was injured, 2006 Brzenk beats Voevoda worse than Bresnan and Bagent

    • @tylertang2110
      @tylertang2110 3 года назад

      @@soi68 yeah he had a huge fight before voevoda and was not 100% but I have to admit voevoda was pretty beast that year he train hard to beat Travis. He got legit power. Would have been better if he stay in armwrestling and see if he could repeat instead he went to bobsledding

  • @leo280597

    Brzenk is like the Pelé of Armwrestling lol. Actually he has never beaten Voevoda. Pushkar, despites of his angry face, is a really nice guy too. I met him at the world championship, and he is a good guy.

      leo280597 Your sucker Voevoda Coward ran away from the sport! John is the Greatest Arm Wrestler Of All Time! Voevoda just beat him once when John was injured and not even in his weight class! Your Joker Voevoda who dances now with aerobics girls and lost to Bresnan 5-1, was beaten by Bagent that time on right as well as he fucked him on left! Voevoda is a shitty Myth! Brzebk is the GOD Period.!

    im not that familiar with arm wrestling, but that must be the most technical match i have ever seen. Its awesome how brzenk uses different technique´s. in the beginning a hook later on a top roll and to finish him off he is doing some shoulder technique. Its damn impressive how he top rolls his opponent, thats brute force. But the best is Brzenk´s face when he top rolls Pushkar...its like "im gonna destroy you now and rip you apart"...

  • @kevlarunderwear22
    @kevlarunderwear22 16 лет назад +1

    very cool you saw him in person. i was referring to possibly armwrestling on espn2 or something. interesting that he studies strategies, he needs to considering some of the guys he faces outweigh him mightily

  • @Csut555
    @Csut555 15 лет назад +2

    Awesome by Brzenk. That top roll was brutal, and then he just hooked him straight back in and buried him.

  • @Csut555
    @Csut555 14 лет назад +1

    Has anyone else ever noticed how big John's hands are? Aside from when he pulls Denis, John's hands dwarf all.

  • @kevlarunderwear22
    @kevlarunderwear22 16 лет назад +1

    interesting that pushkar was not ready for that final move utilizing different muscles. thats why brzenk is the best, the ability to adapt "during" a match

    Брезек в лучшие годы, эх жаль сейчас уже не тот :(

  • @IconicBattles
    @IconicBattles 16 лет назад +1

    He started in a hook, went to a top roll, but finished with a tricep push. I think Pushkar made two deadly mistakes: Gripping with Brzenk, without allowing a ref's grip (when the ref steps in to grip the two). Anytime you let Brzenk grip you without calling a ref over, you make a HUGE mistake. The second deadly mistake was turning his body before securing the wrist advantage. At this point with Brzenk defending, all Pushkar could do was hold on. Re-wrist-gripping would have lost it anyway.

  • @trashbash2001
    @trashbash2001 15 лет назад +1

    ok, i apollogise. are you asking how was he better in this match which allowed him to win???.... John brzenk has been armwrestling longer than anyone, he is stronger than almost any armwrestler that ever lived, and has better technique than any armwrestler ever. Its just like any other sport. He KNOWS what hes doing. However, It would take me forever to explain and describe step by step what he did in this particular match and he technique he used to win.

    • @TimmyTurner421
      @TimmyTurner421 6 лет назад

      I think he's also a genetic freak. Technique alone doesn't win you matches versus super heavyweights who are 30 kg heavier than yourself. He has immense strength in his arms. I bet if scientists would look into it they'd find out that he has abnormal strong muscle fibres
