I noted the LiquiMoly offer at the across the road from the tire sellers shop. I like and use the Liquimoly products. Suggest you investigate and consider using.

I have a Hilux in Australia and a set of tyres (Bridgestone) lasts 60,000 km. But that's road tyres. I would hope you can find an off-road or all-terrain tyre that can last at least 50,000 km because as someone else said 35,000 km is not much.

Good video and I dig your Padres hat! $500 is cheap but 35.000 km isn't very far. I'll be buying a set of BFG A/T's for my Land Cruiser before my next adventure, I need a set of five and it will cost me $2K but feel it's totally worth it. Hope to see you soon.

Check the manufacturers date on the sidewall of your tires. They usually are good for 5 years from manufacturers date so if they are selling you a tire that is already 4 years old from the date than it will only last a year.

Good tip I will keep that in mind for next time. thankfully these ones are a recent manufacturing date.

That tread design you picked will give you bad wear. For best reault, be on top of your rotation. My advice on your next set, always get the with closed shoulder for an on/off road use.

    Good video. Are you Nicaraguan?
What made you go live in Nicaragua?
Why haven’t you bought your own property or home there yet?
How hard was it to move there from CA?
What city did you choose to live and why?
If you have a video on these questions please let me know. Take care!

Ironically I was looking at tires at Pricemart last week - In Canada I have a Prado - Torn between getting a Prado, 4 runner or Hilux for here - They all take 265/70 R16s typically - On the Canadian tires I bought (Yokohama Geolander) I am just sneaking up to 90K (km) and it is time to change. They are now about $850 USD equiv for 4 - The Pricemart price I saw, for a similar to Yokohama ,(Firestone I think they were) was about $150 US each - The tires my extended family have here - Man - They are rough ....
But those Chinese tires do seem to be more of an M/T than an A/T - So not really apples to apples.
And you don't need snows either :-)

Videos of you doing the things that wear the tires out might be more intesting than buying new ones. Not trying to be negative, just sayin.
