I love your sound, but you're too far ahead of me. You don't elaborate enough. I'm trying to see which triad or chord you're playing and you are already off to an octave higher. I'll get there someday and check my progress by coming back to see if I can follow better.

Even more amazing than his effortless mastery of the neck is the well-spring of never ending ideas that GT has at his command! From listening to Guthrie’s gospel of connecting and playing between chord shapes (and learning fragmented shapes up and down) I feel like he has cracked the code for me. Now I understand what fretboard freedom really means! It takes time and work but it’s well worth it. Thank you, GT!
