wow, you are a genious! You explain it so well! BTW, I'm a Chinese native speaker. This vid finally helps me understand ”的、得、地”
Glad it helped!
😂😂😂😂
The last minute of your video helped me get over a headache I've had for months. Better than any painkiller , thank you !
My goodness... Haven't been able to get the differences of all these "de's" so far, and it still seems so complicated... BUT :-) I'm pretty positive watching this video a few times more may get me there! Thank you!! 👍👍
绿的龟很慢地走路。
他的猫弹钢琴弹得很好。
妈妈不喜欢他的猫弹的音乐
dui ma
对
最好把“绿的乌龟”-“绿乌龟”
绿色的乌龟慢慢地走路
Actually, "爬行"may be more suitable for describing a turtle that walk slowly. lol...
Thank you so much! Your way to describe grammar makes it very easy to understand!
Agree completely!
David Yeo Yeah!
Wow. You packed a lot of information in this educational video. I will carefully review this. Thank you for taking the time to carefully prepare the class to help us learn, understand and think in Chinese!
Thanks so much for making these videos. Really helps visual learners like me better understand Chinese grammar!
I'd love to see a video discussing directional verbs, such as 弟弟從樓下跑上來 or 他把書帶回去了
謝謝
Finally , the best explanation of these particles.
For the 地and 得sentence,it's actually adjective+地+verb and verb+地+adjective. In your viedo, you said it's adverb+地+verb
The word 高兴is adjective;高兴地is adverb
Thank you for your comments, however, Chinese word cannot be simply identified with its grammatical nature sometimes, in your example, 高兴 alone could be verb, adjective, adverb.
For example,
我高兴吃, means I feel happy to eat. It’s a verb,
我玩得高兴, means I happily play, it’s an adverb,
我觉得很高兴, means I feel very happy, it’s an adjective.
Therefore, to make things easier to learners and avoid unnecessary confusion, we decide to make it consistent with its exact grammatical nature of the words in the sentence.
But thank you for your consideration.
could u do a video where u explain when 地 can be omitted? I’ve seen so many adjectives being used as an adverb but without 地 like 突然 直接 单独 and I can NOT find out anywhere why this happens
這隻綠海龜走得很快
他的貓鋼琴彈得很好
我媽媽不喜歡這隻貓彈的音樂
I like your video! You explain how to use them clearly. Even though I'm a native Chinese speaker, sometimes it really confuses me as well. Do you recommend any books for native Chinese speakers to read and know more about the Chinese language? If yes, please leave a comment below and I'd like to know it! Thanks a lot! 🙂
These videos are absolutely fantastic! You have a real talent for clearly explaining the grammar, and keeping it interesting. Please continue making your videos! :)

I am trying to learn Chinese, but I am finding it very difficult, both with the grammar and pronunciation of the words. However, I am not giving up. I will keep watching your videos until something clicks.
得☞ translate gain
Thank you very much for the great information.May I ask , on the second De at the end of your video . I am a bit confused and I dont know if I am following the instructions to the poit. Does it have to say.( baba chi gaoxing de chi fan) instead of ( baba gaoxing de chi fan)? I am trying to follow the second de at the end. Verb+ object+2De+ verb, object ( compound) thank you .
i love your videos, you should add one about 得 with adjectives !!
helpful video
Good job
Very easy to understand. Thank you!
Its good
Just a bit confuse about the "MAYBE" in Chinese word.. It has 3 different meanings.. Can you make a video for this? Thank you so much in advance
私は漢語を話せません。それでも漢語は可愛いです!勉強したい!
アゴスティーノAgostino 日本語の方がかわいいと思います😀
日本語ができれば、中国語を習うのが易しくなるのよ、試して見れば?
I mean... If you are a Japanese speaker, I am sure you could learn Chinese a lot faster! I am a Japanese learning Chinese speaker but still, the share in Kanjis really comes in play!
Very clear explanation. Thanks
I keep forgetting everything
You can always come back and watch again :)
Your videos are very helpful! I'm moving to China next month and they have been highly resourceful in my language learning process! Thank you! 😄
Thank you so much from egypt ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Don't stress if you are learning Chinese and can't get these right, even us native speakers mix them up a lot of the times 😂
That is true especially in the age of internet
It has been 4 yrs, has anyone did the homeworks yet
You're showing off yr Mandarin or teaching..if teaching the content you're delivering must be mentioned slowly...but I find it fast like purposely showing off you are smart Mandarin speaker.
1. I am Chinese, so I don't need to show off my mandarin. LOL.
2. You can always play a video at slower speed on RUclips, feel free to play it at half speed.
3:21 adjective's order is just like how it is in Turkish. Annemin al[dığı] KEK = THE CAKE [which] my mom bought. It's easier to understand for me.
4:12 idk but this may be the same as well.
Sevin[erek] YE = Eat happily/Eat while being happy (happiness is not the result, it's the process)
Yiy[erek] SEVİN = Be happy with eating (happiness is the result of eating)
Sevin = be(ing) happy
Ye = eat(ing)
-erek = literally de得/地
很好,谢谢你!
Latest Mandarin standard now allows mix use of 的地得, primary schools now don't teach their differences.
That is a rumor: xw.qq.com/hot
Are the following phrases the same?
快乐的学习
快乐地学习
快乐得学习
I'm gonna fail tomorrow..😂😂
same ahahah i have a mandarin end of year exam tomorrow :/
终于弄明白了 赖我小学没好好学语文
please make more
Can you please tell me about ,the difference between structural particle 的 modal particle 的。
modal particles are for expressing a certain tone of voice.
"Dad likes the cake"
Amen
1.My mum doesn't like the music that his cat play
我妈妈不喜欢她的猫弹的钢琴
2. His cat plays the keyboard very well
她的猫弹钢琴弹得很好
3. the green turtle walked slowly
lü龟慢慢地走
FYI, “green” is 绿
Your videos are absolutely f'ing awesome!! Thank You for making them and helping dumb language guys like me!!
Thanks for the latest video. Always extremely helpful.
may i know which video share the uses of 得 with adjective and complement?
To be made ;)
Amazing video! Keep it up! A request for how to use; 着
着means doing something or a status,for example,"吃着饭"means having a meal, "戴着帽子"means wearing a hat.
Mate my brain is getting fucked but I'm enjoying it in a good way because I'm actually learning!
非常感谢你的解决
chinese grammar is too fucking difficult. i can NOT for the life of me learn it
Have faith and take baby steps.
thnkyou stranger
Could 吃得高兴 be translated as "the happiness of eating"?
No, that would be 吃的高兴 or more commonly 吃的快乐
翻译句子:
1)我妈妈不喜欢他猫播放的音乐。
2)他的猫弹钢琴弹得很好听!
3)绿龟慢慢地走。
如果有什么不对的地方,请告诉我!
You can find the answers on my website
Very clear! Very professional! Thank you, friend!

不要說外國人,一堆台灣人連「的、得」「在、再」都分不清楚啊啊啊,每次糾正還被嫌管太多,看得懂就好,問題根本不是這樣啊,唉
樓下留言完美示範
Super.Thanks.
Well done, the word descriptions includes 定语&状语&补语
Your video channel is one of my favourites ❤🌼
Thanks Twin Cities! I watched this video a year ago and it was a totally confusing. I'm in the middle of my Chinese 101 and I finally get this grammar rule. I'm glad I watched it a year ago. :)
感谢老师. At 1:16 you said to do "adjectives + 得 + complements" in another video. I tried to find the video but couldn't. Do you have a link or otherwise explanation? I appreciate it, thanks.
It’s a video about 得+degree which was posted long after the video you watched.

@@ChineseGrammarSimplified You are the best. Thank you so much. Just watched the video. Actually making the sentences myself was hard! Have a nice day.
Thank you so much for your support. Never stop trying~ It’s important to generate your second nature and instinct for this.
非常感谢 toooop

Thank you for the clarification.

Hi there. I just recently subscribed to your channel and the way you present your videos are easy to digest in roughly 5 minutes. I want to ask if you could make a video discussing 了 which is used after a verb and 了 which is used at the end of sentences expressing a change of state/condition.
Made it simple...Wow! Subscribing!
I'm so happy i found this video, super helpful !
这只他妈的乌龟怎么走得这么慢呢 干啥呀
you are missing 的 for 他妈的 :)
Can you make 1 video on 每 mei concept (each and every) thanks 😊

Thank you so much it helps me to have better chinese grammar
Good
Good
From 3.40 min the image was not clear. Anyway thanks 😊
THANKYOU SO MUCH. That was so helpful they way you explain it really appeals to my thought prosses especially the longer more accurate translation of the structure words function rather than the simpler translation
Watching this one again. Such a helpful video but it's a lot of information to soak in. I'll need to watch this a few times I think
Pls continue to upload. Your videos are very helpful. 😊
Such an amazing video! Thank you!
