    I’ve owned the 110 ST in 22 for about three years now and I absolutely love it, it’s never missed a beat. It’s still putting pellet through pellet. My choice of pellet is the hades but any decent pellet it still performs. Only last night I was doing a job for a farmer tackling some rats and it performed like new. Never ever had a problem with the magazine nor when I’ve been out where the temperature has been below freezing. Like any other gun look after it and it will continue to perform.

      I've always wanted one ,I do hear so many problems which put me off ..wonder what to look for in the second hand market for one of these ? Re ferbed..maybe that's the best way to go ...I do like the AA ultimate sporter in black polymer too ,which would u say is best accuracy wise ?

    • @PiperX1X
      @PiperX1X 3 года назад +3

      @@markveganism5003 when they first came out I’d heard that there were a couple of problems with them and they were getting sent back to Weihrauch, probably just teething problems and I’ll be honest I decided to wait before I bought mine and I probably waited for six months until I knew that the problems had been rectified, then I had a further wait of about three months until it arrived due to worldwide high demand. But it’s an excellent rifle and very very accurate and would definitely recommend one to anyone thinking of buying one.
      Personally if you can afford it get a new one and you know it’s bob on and you have that warranty that comes with it for peace of mind and if you haven’t quite got the cash I’d advise to keep saving as it’ll be worth it in the end. I personally wouldn’t buy a second hand pcp unless I knew the person who had it previously but that’s just me as I’m a fussy bugger like that.

    I brought the HW110 in November and the only thing I can fault is the mag. At the moment I put it down to me being at error , I have only put 250 pellets through the gun so far Love the videos 👌🏻

    A well placed drop or two of lubricant will make wonders for the feeling of the action when reloading and also loading and unloading the magazine.

  • @Chopperdriver

    Just bought the polymer HW110 in 22. Coincidentally I also settled on the hades which gives me great accuracy. I’ve owned Air Arms, Walther Rotex, Hammerli and CZ and this is as good as any imho. I have silly glass on top but since I sold my overseas firearms when I came back to the UK I kept the Swaro scopes. So 10m is not crisp as the minimum parallax is meant to be 50m. I still manage a ragged hole at 10m so the rifle is more accurate than me at that distance. The stock moderator is very good and it comes with an attachable weaver rail on the bottom for a serious bipod like Harris or Atlas. PS. I hear the power issue has been sorted but mine is still too new to tell

    You are not being too picky; I love mine, but bloody hate changing the magazine. It gets stuck going in and gets stuck coming out. Nigh on impossible to do prone, as you need to hold both the cocking lever and the release catch at the same time as trying to get the mag out. I put up with it because it's a beautiful gun.

    You say at about 0.45, that its the carbine edition, did you ever do a review on the HW110 ST?

  • @perlogalism2167
    @perlogalism2167 3 года назад

    I wish that Weihrauch HAD sorted out the power issue but reading some of the forums it seems they haven't. My personal one dropped disastrously mid Feral pigeon cull and got sent off to HW100tuning to be fettled. It's worked fine since but has now crept down to 10.5ftlbs again. At least I can now adjust it myself. Yes the magazine is a terrible design but you can improve it by swapping over the magazine release catch to the left side (if you're right handed) or swapping the cocking lever over if you're left! The Weihrauch mags do eventually get easier to load / unload but a bit of gun oil between the thumb and forefinger and then wiped over the mag does improve things in the meantime. Apparently 3rd party polymer mags are the way to go....

    Looking at HW100 and HW110 both in Carbines. Both with thumb holes. This will be my second Weihrauch next to my HW97 Blue Laminate and my second PCP next to my Gamo Urban .22. Both are basically the same in price. I guess my question will be does the tank unscrew on the HW110 like the HW100? Which one would you get? Will be using a hand pump. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

    • @karlmaddox1209
      @karlmaddox1209 2 года назад +1

      50-60m is pushing it for a 12ftlb air rifle. The slightest breeze will make it a lottery. I'd have to say no to your question. 40m is a more realistic maximum range and only then in perfect conditions ie no wind. My lad owns a hw110k & it's phenomenally accurate but he wouldn't dream of attempting a 60m shot on live quarry.

    Don’t normally opt for HW’s these days - great guns but always on the heavy side for me, just a personal preference but for hunting/pest control I prefer something compact and light. I was intrigued therefore when you highlighted its light wait but I don’t think you mentioned what it was or it’s overall dimensions, barrel length etc. My guess is it’s lighter by HW standards. Years ago I had an HW in FAC but for 27ftbs it had the dimensions + weight of a punt gun - things have come a long way since then.
    Nice review.
