- New Playlist! We are wanting to make videos going over technique in various situations. Comment below to let us know what you need to work on the most and we will make a video to help make that happen!
Proper technique ensures a safer, more capable, and ultimately more fun riding. Working on the little things goes a long way! Don't forget to like comment and subscribe if you enjoyed this video!
I’m a somewhat experienced rider but trying explain techniques to my wife who is brand new on a SurRon or motorcycle period has been difficult this helped her a ton! It’s an easy concept but I just couldn’t explain the center of weight and keeping elbows out as well as he did
Anyone with racing experience knows that RACES ARE WON IN THE CORNERS, great video!
And with consistency
Great vid! Can't wait for more
Awesome video. Stoked I was apart of it👊🏼🤘🏻
Yeah man thanks for joining us, great job! #ChargeTheTrails
Hope you do more Surron riding technique videos
Good show, I'd like to see more of these kind of comparisons.
I was thinking the same thing at the end, STARKVARG! gas bikes are sick but I think the starkvarg is going to distroy EVERY gas bike on EVERY terrain!
I think if you can ride a dirtbike you can ride a surron. But if you can ride a surron you can't necessarily ride a dirtbike. Foot break clutch and gears change things a bit.
I believe the tight technical single track would be a great comparison
we're faster on Surrons and expend far less energy in tight technical riding vs on our KTM's, the Surron is a cheater bike in these conditions. We'll have to consider how to put that into a video, thanks for the suggestion!
@@ChargedCycleWorks Please do, with emphasis on a chassis stability comparison, sooner the better. I developed one of the early 2 stroke KTM Freerides to try & achieve a 205LB XCW type bike ; suspension, steering damper & even offset steering stem bearings, but still the short wheelbase & steep steering angle were the limiting factors for our eastern single track full of angled logs & what we call 'trail junk'. One surgery was enough so bailed on the Freeride in favor of the far more sure-footed 250xcw, miss that light weight though. Have a Stark Varg on order for August ( ?? ) delivery but it's 260 LB gross weight has me rethinking the option of a fully built up Ultra Bee - suspension, 21/18 wheelset & power bump .. the 54" wheelbase is cause for concern though as chassis stability & a reasonably plush ride rule the day in the conditions we ride in. Will it be possible to achieve a level of stability & ride quality anywhere near a full size 250/300 on the Ultra bee & ?
Nice forks on the surron.
We can't wait for the EXT forks to hit the market! They've already made multiple changes to it based on Brett's feedback. We think they will be worth the wait.
@@ChargedCycleWorks As long as they’re ready by early august. My targeted purchase date.
That shouldn't be a problem...
I can wait, I have a have durado comps and fast ace that I am going to sell to help purchase the ext. Can we get any details, weight, travel, material, air or fluid? Anything??
We don't know exact specs, it's based off their DH MTB racing fork, inverted, massively beefed up to better handle the speed/weight of surron. Aluminum uppers and steel chromoly lowers which are not only much stronger but also have almost zero friction making them better for small bumps (no stiction).
So sick!
Nice! Can I ask what rear tire size was used during this video at sur ron?
Brett is running 18/21 in this video with a 90/100-18 MX33 available here: chargedcycleworks.com/products/dunlop-mx33-90-100x18?_pos=2&_sid=d175763e8&_ss=r
💯👌
I assume this is not a stock controller on the surron?
EBMX X-9000 controller with 72v battery and a KO Motor...yeah...far from stock.
The bro continuing to instruct while the bike is on the chick’s leg after crashing and struggling to lift it off herself…
