Would a common blow drier work instead of a heat gun to waterproof the Heat Shrink Wrap? thank you! I/m about to buy that Controller from Charghed! : )
It will! It may take a little longer, but I use a hair drier quite often on my graphics kits at home
Just got mine, in the uk the app sucks you can't register for an account
but what with will fit ? 3.00" will fit, 90/90 will fit to, but what with 3.25 or some ? i heard 3.5 wont fit 100/90 is not nce u said
What rear shock do you guys recommend pairing with a Fastace 3.0 with a 50lb spring on a eride pro ss? I was looking at the RFLOXA RAB53RV on your website but I notice you guys only have the 550lb spring option. Would that be too stiff in the rear with a 50lb in the front? I weigh just over 180lbs and ride on the trails and streets. Edit: Well you pretty much answered my question @ 12:14 👌Do you guys plan to get anymore 450lb back in stock?
I iwn a MX5 its amazing had it 2weks got it in Scotland at Talaria dealership 70miles from Aberdeen Scotland cant fault it yet
How do I put that front rotor guard on my eride pro!
What about weight comparison...How much does the modified eride pro 2.0 weigh?
Finally something good out of the box!
I’m convinced that Globalism is behind the closing of trails. They need to be told where to go. They don’t know anything about the environment and certainly don’t respect God’s children. Imagine the hubris you need to have to spoil everyone’s wholesome fun on the pretext of protecting a barren desert!
What is the weight on the built 2.0? I assume it is a bit heavier than a stock 2.0? wondering how it compares to the 3.0 and SR on weight
1:43 i can’t believe they put the camera upside down for the Australian guy 🤣🤣🤣
It’s all worth the money but to much confusion in the 3 different models with eride pro ss? 2.0/ SR/3.0? I have ADD bad so I ordered a Altis Sigma
You made a good choice. It’s a killer bike.
whens it release
Seeing the popularity of these smaller form factor electric dirt bikes with full size riders why didn't bikes like the KX112 have a larger following?
This bike looks amazing, but the assembly seems a bit extensive. For those of us who aren't super handy, it might be a dealbreaker. Thoughts on how easy or hard it is to put together without expert help?
I would like to see a top speed run with an eride 2.0, XLB 60 motor, ebmx 9000, chi battery and a 40 tooth sprocket. Maybe 21 inch wheels. Could be scary.
Oh it’s coming, although it’s an 81v battery and EBMX’s new race motor. That bike will debut soon against the Altis and SR.
Bro you keep saying the sigma vs the sr is soon when is it coming out
We wanted both production bikes before publishing. Pre-production bikes didn’t quite cut it when we’d prefer to do the real test with the same bikes everyone else will get here in a few weeks.
"Besides the killer wrap" he said convincingly. Mate don't lie to us, you just glued some a4 paper on it didn't you?😀
thank you very much I'm undecided whether to get the artic leopard 880 enduro or the Varg enduro... I like the lightness of the artic and the lower weight of the Varg I like the brand and the higher quality finishes and components I think... But I don't know about the Artic 880 I would pay 3000 euros less in Italy and new.. Any advice on which one to get? I'm also interested in autonomy and I would like to be able to do at least 150 km (93 Ml) on straight dirt roads with little hills... thanks to everyone for the advice. Im italian and live near Venice .. Mestre
When are y'all going to 3D print out the new EBMX battery lid for the EBMX V5 battery for the surron?
Already in the works. Hit us up on email or chat and we can print one for you now.
Would it be better to just wait until the Atlas Sigma is available?
Altis and SR comparison coming soon. We doubt many people will cross shop the Altis and 3.0 given the weight and power differences.
@@ChargedCycleWorkswould love to see this!
Of course the guys selling the mods are recommending the mods over buying the new bike
That’s not our intention but would love to get your honest opinion if you ever get the chance to ride both. The point of this video was to answer all the “should I upgrade or sell to get the new one?” questions from existing 2.0 owners.
These are badass. Im out in Southern California. I take these everywhere in the mountains including los angeles mountains. No terrain stops these bikes. Great video guys!!! Range is very good on these.
You guys are silly..for 7-8k you can build a surron that will blow the eride away. You can find surrons for 2k used now. 4k for a 400a peak capable 72v, x9000 and sotion motor. Leaves you 2k for suspension and wheels. The eride 3.0 go ahead spend 5k for it…youll still have to buy a X9000, better 72v and motor to keep up with a built surron.
I understand the test was comparing to a stock 3.0. What would be the reason to not buy the 3.0 and then just put a 16 inch wheel and swap the front tire? Then you get all the 3.0 brake and suspension upgrades, 16kw and you’re not even 6k in….?
Like many, we already owned the 2.0 and it’s been modded for 6+ months already. This video was intended to help existing 2.0 owners that are on the fence of selling or upgrading. 3.0 mods coming soon bc not many bikes in our shop stay stock for long 😂
What about the wheel didn’t really mention the straight pull spoked and beefed up hubs of the 3.0, are the mtb like wheels the 2.0 has just fine?
We’ve discussed the other 3.0 upgrades like the new hubs in prior videos, so we cut discussing it yet again in this one. Our upgraded Warp 9 16/19” on our 2.0 are extremely similar in design. E Ride paid attention to all the 2.0 upgrades and basically copied them for the 3.0 OEM 2.0 wheels aren’t as strong, but still plenty good enough for normal riding.
is the 3.0 in your last couple videos a pre production bike, kind of a bummer the top speed is similar to the 2.0. hopefully if that is a pre production bike, it will go faster once the production 3.0 is out
is this review made with a pre production 3.0 or a final version? Was the 3.0 in 3/sport mode in every test?
Production. Yes, sport in everything.
@@ChargedCycleWorks thank you
I'm interested in seeing where the 3.0 maxes out with the X-9000. It looks like the SR is dropping at $5600 with 25kW so I bet it's going to end up offering the most performance for your dollar just like the 3.0 does vs. the modified 2.0 in this comparison. But, it'll be nice for early 3.0 adopters to see what the bike can do once upgraded. Nice job with the video, guys.
SR will be limited in mods by its small battery.
Currently have a e ride 2.0, 19/16, forks from the 3.0, prickly ultrabee brake kit, and other small stuff. Its fun to look at all the bikes coming out and it used to get me annoyed that i spent a couple extra bucks upgrading the 2.0. i go back and forth but truly wouldn't trade my 2.0 how it sits for anything other than an altis... or a stark and then sell it lol. Point being you really need to know what u want to get out of these bikes, i personally love ripping offroad and personalizing them. I also don't really know why these bikes dont get the credit they deserve for track riding bc i know these are easily comparable to an 85cc around a moto, people are scared to push these and i dont know why
Our upgraded 2.0 w x-9000 is incredible on the track. On some tracks and most trails, it’s way more fun than our larger dirt bikes.
@ Love that build to death. X9000 is just not in the cards atm but hopefully one day
i just rode the SR ....stupid fast
Does Eride pros still have rhe thing where you can’t charge immediately after riding?
We haven’t experienced it on our 3.0 yet but many batteries do this if they are hot. Perhaps that’s partially why they put the battery temps on the updated display.
I've had my MX4s for a year and a half now. One has every upgrade possible at a cost of around $15k. That's the price of early adoption. Something to consider if you want to really enjoy these types of bikes long-term, upgrading them yourself leads to a strong understanding of their capabilities and weaknesses. I've turned every single nut and bolt on that bike myself and I know it inside and out. I've been watching this segment closely, seeing it evolve in leaps and bounds but I'm still super happy with my MX4s. If you already have an Eride Pro 2.0, I suggest you upgrade it as cheaply as possible and wait for a year or two to see what comes next. You won't have to spend anywhere near what I did to make your Eride Pro 2.0 just as capable. There is a ceiling to these bikes and I believe in the near future, this segment will be capped out. In other words, your money will buy a LOT better bike a year from now but maybe not 5 years from now. Upgrade for now, wait a while ... my $.02 FWIW
It doesn't make sense to spend a ton of money upgrading a 2.0 when the 3.0 comes with so many upgrades for only $500 more. As much as I agree with some of the things you said I think it's crazy to spend as much as a stark cost on one of these China bikes
You people and China bikes.... You know the stark has a Chinese power pack at its heart, Chinese BMS, Chinese motor components, and a lot of the minor parts are also Chinese production line parts. Just shut up if you don't know what you're talking about about with your slick comments lmao @@Shreddylife
@@jittcrazy1882 I own a Eride 2.0 and yes its a Chinese bike designed and made in China with cheap parts. FYI No, the Stark Varg motor is not made in China; it is manufactured in Spain by Stark Future, a company based in Barcelona, where the entire bike is designed and assembled; although they recently partnered with a Chinese company, Farsoon Technologies, for advanced metal 3D printing of specific components for the motorcycle. 🤭
@@jittcrazy1882 FYI The Carbon Fiber Sleeve Motor & Inverter *Developed and made in Europe* ... the carbon fiber sleeve motor runs on 360 nominal voltage, churning out 80hp and 9hp per kilogram. It also delivers an incredible 275 Nm of torque on the counter shaft and 938 Nm on the rear wheel. Do YOUR research before talking out of your 🍑 pal lol
@@Shreddylife you trust Chinese 3d printed materials and then talk about China.... Lollllllllllll 🤦♂️
No. the stock eride pro 2.0 battery is trash. You run it at 15kw it will be a paperweight. ASK HOW I KNOW. LOL
How do you know
theres bad outcomes to everything, im sorry but you are just unlucky. These batteries are safe to run at ebmx's suggested level
@@Crohniac I'm not he only unlucky one hahaha. I'm just sayin. Probably better to run in their 12kw setting if you want longevity.
Run it against the E-Ride Pro SR.
i rode the SR today ....OMG fast
We will when the SR is out and we have a real production version. :)
E-Ride Pro or Toyota Camry?
You're going to have to do the suspension upgrades at a minimum anyway.
I’m so confused on why comparing a 2.0 to a 3.0 the upgrades you talked about aren’t on the 3.0… I could see you saying to make a 2.0 equivalent to a 3.0 you need the X9000 BRAKES and maybe the forks But bothhh bikes need the direct mount and 16/19 so that seemed like a moot point So comparing a $10,000 2.0 to a $5,000 3.0 just seems obvious..idk Still appreciate the video tho boys!
The point of the video is for all of the 2.0 owners out there, should they upgrade their 2.0 to be better than a 3.0 or sell their 2.0 and buy a 3.0? No right or wrong answer, but we just wanted to show that the 2.0 can be faster/better than the 3.0 with some simple mods.
Unless you have the budget to buy these upgrades…I wouldn’t exactly call them simple
Of course the guys selling the mods are recommending the mods over buying the new bike
Of course the guys selling the mods are recommending the mods over buying the new bike
Thank U
You guys should send me a bike
What parts from the 2.0 fit on the 3.0? With the new brakes will the EXT suspension fit on it and bolt up?
We go into depth about this on our video titled “E Ride Pro SS 3.0 IS HERE!
Awesome! I've been really wanting to see a video like this! Thanks guys.
I make videos on the Ventus One and I'm surprised not many people are talking about that bike. 28kw Stockf 5.5k.
We have many videos about the Ventus One, we really like that bike!
Have around $12k into my 2.0 including the base price. I just bought a Stark Varg for the same price, performance-wise, it's so superior on almost every category that it's really silly to even compare them. Really has me re-thinking what I want to do with these smaller bikes long term. I think pushing these smaller platforms maximizing for off-road performance just has inherent limitations unfortunately.
These small bikes were never meant to be a varg competitor, there's no denying that is a true race bread moto bike and incredible for the value of cost. The entire small bike industry went from fun playful mountain bikes with throttles to now very performance enhanced machines if you want them to be. That obviously comes with a lot of money, but it's like comparing football to fútbol, on the outside they sound like the same sport but they are completely different ball games. A lot of people enjoy investing money into the small bikes like yourself because they absolutely love the playful nature of it, but if you're trying to build one to compete with a varg, bottom line is that will never happen
This has always been the problem with the light duty bikes. People are constantly chasing a dream and the better of a rider you become, the more performance and safety you need. This equates into an endless money pit. You just can't argue with the experience the gas bikes bring to the table. They have found what breaks and what needs to be beefy and what doesn't. Stark did the same thing, just electric. The inbetween size of the UltraBee is onto something but still comes with shitty parts. One of these companies is going to find a good middle ground coming with good wheels/tires, brakes and suspension. It will weigh 200lbs at least and not need upgrades. You can't get around the weight if you want it to be durable.
lol
Interesting point, but the Stark is a different class of bike. I wouldn't feel comfortable riding a Stark on bike trails, people's front yards, around the nearby warehouse docks, through the local park and so on. I also wouldn't want to try and get a Stark in and out of my front door, as I often do with my MX4. There is a huge difference in weight. I love how lightweight my MX4 is. I wouldn't want to dump a Stark on a gnarly climb whereas I don't worry too much about that on my MX4. If I remove the battery first, I can lift my MX4 over a fence or drag it across some kind of obstacle. Can't do that with a Stark. Different bikes for different purposes. For me the small, lightweight bike wins in nearly every category and the cost is irrelevant.
@MoxyDave absolutely right, and I have no plans to sell my 2.0, but I don't see any of the manufacturers using the light weight / range / portability as a selling point, or trying to optimize for that. It seems to be an arms race with the Altis/SR/etc to push more power and top speed which...is going down the path of competing with things like the stark imo
I want to see this video but with MX5 vs 3.0.
Coming next Friday!
@@ChargedCycleWorks The United Kingdom's Mx5 is 82v 50Ah badged as Pro Competizione ?
Altis Sigma MX or E-Ride 3.0?
We will be doing comparisons soon, need more seat time on the Sigma, but currently that bike is proving to be a much more race oriented bike vs a playful bike like the 3.0
Altis Sigma Vs E Ride Pro Sr
just assembled and rode the 3.0 for the first time. Its light, powerful, and clean looking, thanks alot guys!
its not even out for shipping yet
@ mine shipped a week ago from cycle works and arrived this morning
@kyr1nz how’s the throttle control? Is the power smooth and easy to control?
@@MJRedden i believe app implementation of the 3.0 will be here soon allowing you you change throttle curves and what not. Currently, eco is smooth as can be with an uncapped top speed, just less torque. Sport is powerful in all the right places. Basically i have power when i need power but its controllable enough to make micro adjustments.
Thank you. Also does it take a while to start charging after you rode it and got it down to low battery like the 2.0?
Is suspension interchangeable with 2.0 ?
