  • Hey pretty, click me! :)
    Watch me build a miniature wooden tray and fill it with cake, tea cups and a white rose.
    I used samba wood for the tray, covered it first in white primer, then in a mix of acrylic paint.
    For the rose, I used a plastic coated wire. (it's a kind of beading wire wrapped in plastic)
    The rest is sculpted from polymer clay.
    The cups and plates are baked before being sanded and filled, then baked again.
    Well that's pretty much it. Nothing too fancy :)

    Wow! I think you could do this amazing work with your eyes closed!!!!
    How about a Lemon Meringue or a Baked Alaska?...Cherry Pie...Ice Cream in a waffle bowl...Pumpkin Pie...Pancakes with butter or fruit (Breakfast in North America and Dessert in Australia)...Canadians would recognize a Nanaimo Bar. I could go on forever but I'm positive you could make them easily.
    Well done!!! You take this miniature food to a different level.

    what's the blue stuff you use to make a mould with ?

    • @stephanie.kilgast
      @stephanie.kilgast  8 лет назад

      +Elizabeth Hair a two part silicone mould. It comes in different colors, but basically you mix two silicone putty, make a mould from whatever you want and the mould dries in about 10 minutes.

    • @stephanie.kilgast
      @stephanie.kilgast  9 лет назад

      +angélique retz j'en achète dès que j'en vois... donc soit sur un salon de miniature, soit un magasin de modélisme/loisir créatifs. Sur Paris, il y en a au BHV et à Léz'art (de mémoire). Ne jamais prendre de balsa, trop mou. Le samba est pas mal, mais après je choisis à l'oeil et au toucher.
