I would like 👍 4 more times. I was really curious about the internal components on the Vland headlights. Watched it to the end. Thank you.
I'm good with the oem headlights except they've faded alot. Gonna try 3m polishing compound to try and clear them up if not going to swap them out .
Piri Hern a lot of my experience with 2IS Lens is they yellow and have microcracks on the inside of the lens. I’ve got a headlight buffing video if you want to check that out.
Since you already have everything apart, I think triple demon eyes in the projectors would definitely be a unique touch!
Xotic Empire next video. Already got it.
@@TunerwithKids Awesome, looking forward to it.
Hi Binh, love how in depth and helpful your videos are. I have these headlights on my IS 250 and unfortunately my bulbs on one of my lights stopped working. I was wondering if you know of a way to replace the bulbs on these headlights?
No bulbs. It’s either a bad LED board or the driver. Hopefully they are under warranty.
Got a question. I will like to know if the Vland headlight is brighter at night compared with the OEM headlights or will it be advisable to use the HID bulbs on the OEM?
Low beams don’t work everything else does could it power issue or a headlight switch?
Bro, can you help me find the 2 small pcb board inside of that light? I need a replacement, idk where to find that pcb board part
Hey Binh, where can I purchase the 2B-K2-FC board because mine is faulty, it's now projecting a blue color instead of the white
I have the same issue
Hey, Love your videos they are so detailed, I’m from Florida also, what part of Florida you live in? Im in Orlando, looking for someone like you to work on my lights and add demon eyes on the projectors.
I’m in Gainesville. This is more of a hobby and I’d probably wouldn’t and don’t have time to do for anyone even for money.
Tuner with Kids I hear ya, I totally understand. Looking forward your next video on how to install Demond eyes, hopefully I can also find time to do it and follow your video on how to but I’m sure I shouldn’t have any issues since your detail wk is impressive. Thank you
I have same lights. But I think they send me wrong side light. After opening them whats your opinion would it be possible to change them from rhd to lhd? Like swapping shields or something like that?
Not that simple. Need correct ones.
Is it possible to make them brighter ?
Nope. The LED and projector is what you get from the manufacturer.
Is it possible to mount to the high beam place another bi led module? Because high beam of this vland headlights is very bad.
Nope, not enough room.
@@TunerwithKids If I find some small module?
@@TunerwithKids Can you tell me the size of the lenses?
@@chingiszholamanov3274 didn’t measure. It’s like 1”.
Thanks for the video. Could you recommend a really nice potting compound ? Also, do you think these aftermarket headlights will survive -10 degree C ?
Check links in description. I also have a video on potting ballasts that has links.
My high beam ain’t working. Any solutions ?
Did it die or never worked?
@@TunerwithKids tbh I am not sure, bought it like that from the previous owner. And it seems from the previous owner’s pics it wasn’t working or on. So I am guessing it was never working. Other two beams are working perfectly just the high beam not working.
Any idea what could have happened?
@@wale484 if both aren’t working. That’s odd. Maybe check fuse and power to the harness first.
Hey can an hid kit be installed replacing one of the leds increasing the light visibility ?
Nope.
Do you know how to make it so only the DRL check mark shows and not the HID's at half power show like stock? I don't like the flickering of the HID Half power DRL
You have to disable the DRL in Techstream. ruclips.net/video/dN0OX8Dm4e4/видео.html
The 2IS uses a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to the halogen high beams at 50% power for DRLs. This causes your LED to flicker and blink if you don't disable factory DRL.
Can the projector be swappable with morimoto mini h1 led projector or any of morimoto projectors? Those projector doesn't seem like an upgrade as far as output compare to the oem projectors
Not enough room. Doing a 2011 Depo DRL headlights retrofit.
Do you have the measurements of the internal heat sink along with projectors was thinking of retrofitting those on to my acura headlights
No measurements. What year Acura? I wouldn’t bother with the effort if you can find some Acura jewel eyes instead for less money.
@@TunerwithKids its an 09 Acura TL..actually I already have the jewel conversion done but almost everyone has them now so wanted to go different route to be a lil different..
This would be a downgrade from Acura jewel eye conversion.
Have a question, I just bought these headlights and on my 2is the previous owner for some reason had the wire for the hid low beams split off from the rest of the harness. Would you be able to tell me which wires on the outside of the headlights control the low and high beams? I would greatly appreciate it if just am having no luck with rewiring mine
Team OG check out my post and build on my previous Depo lights on ClubLexus. www.clublexus.com/forums/is-2nd-gen-2006-2013/877012-depo-headlights-10.html#post10137397
