The gravel tips were on point. Turgis 110/1. Gee 240/1 and 5/8 in the break.
Cheers buddy, as I always say, good odds on long list riders are often the most interesting bets, that’s where the money is (stupidly, I had put my money on MVDP, yet he let me down 😊)
Thanks for the review. Today’s stage was exciting!
One of the best of the season kn my book!
Love your videos. Straight to the point and with simple easy to understand visuals. Thank you. I also thought MVDP would unleash a big attack but I think we've seen this year after year with him where he just doesn't perform the same in the grand tours as he does in the classics.
Cheers ey, and good point - he simply seems to use them differently, to train for a bigger goal - he did say in an interview he would choose the Olympics over a tour stage, he didn’t even have to think about it - then again, he also indicated that winning a tour stage was part of his goals for this year - this was his best shot IMO, it also just shows how tough it is to actually win a bike race
i think he is prepping to peak exactly for worlds and olympics. If he peaks earlier and is in the right position he will try a tour stage if not, still everything to his plan I think as he did last year. But I also watched him today all day waiting only to see his peak isnt here yet (what is a good thing for his goals)
Brilliant, love your commentary, and am looking forward to all the next eleven previews! Tell us more, I’ll listen.
🙏for expressing your support here, much appreciated. There's more to come, so hang in here. Please do note that I'll be off-grid during the last week of the Tour, so I won't be in a position to do dailies for the final week, which is really a bummer, yet when life takes over, it is what it is (I'll try and plan differently next year around) - Next week, I will provide a more detailed week preview for the final week though - and I'll be back for the Vuelta
Not sure why MVDP has been so low profile in this Tour (as with last year's too, iirc). Maybe after his winter CX and spring classics exertions he kind of switches off by the time the Tour comes around...
Yep, last year too, last year he used it as preparation for the worlds and we all know how that ended - this year around he’ll be building towards the Olympics / Worlds, yet he indicated to also want a TdF stage win this year - I guess it also proves he’s human
Bini 1 st not jaspher i thinki jaspher is on the 3rd ...
I’d love to see that, as you know, I’m a fan of all!
Nearly 5000,brilliant!
💪 🎉
On stage 8 Lidl-Trek were sprinting for Gibbons and not Stuyven, do you think its stuyvens turn?
Hard to say ey, Stuyven nor Gibbons find a finish here that suits them, I see both their chances as quite low on a flat finish
What is your reasoning for not having De Lie as 4 stars? Is it because of his positioning and sprint skills? He certainly has the power and consistency
@@puremana watching him so far during the tour which is my only experience watching him, his positioning and overall Sprint acumen definitely need some work. Raw power is very impressive but he needs to put it all together. He definitely could do it but if I was rating I would also put him at three stars.
He’s the fastest of them all in each and every sprint, yet he’s starting his sprints out of position, his year will come (he’s only 22), as soon as they get that dialed, he’ll be unbeatable
Am always appreciated your pridict, Bini is in great shape and legs,Jasper philipsen the disaster monster his cargo which is van der Paul is not in good mood to lead him out, plus Bini outsprinted Jasper philipsen and his moral is vanished, if Bini or Cavendish took this stage will be my happiness,🤜🏿🤛🏿
Hi there, thanks so much for sharing - I love it when people share a different take in a constructive way and with an argumentation, as you are doing, it really adds to the community to read different takes. I'm still on Philipsen for this stage, even though I agree he won't be in a good place mentally right now. Then again, I'd love to see Bini or Cav prove me wrong - enjoy the stage
Thank you
My pleasure 🙏
I was proud of myself riding 2000k.. in a year! haha thank god lottery day is over
What did you say, haha ha time and time again we Have shown you We are are here to beat you not to Respect or fear you COME BACK AFTER STAGE 11, 👉the history goes like this STAGE 3 STAGE WIN, STAGE 4 GREEN JERSEY stage 8 second stage win two times second place , sprints in every stage ,267 points and 74 point gap to the second, some thing NEW to your Ears " BINI Prophesied this win 5 years Ago"👈💚💚👕👕💚💚🇪🇷❤
@@zxtsf who's we?
Bini ,phlipsen, Groenewegen *****5 Star not 4
No 5⭐️in my ranking - 10 stars, 10 riders, that’s it
De Lie 🇧🇪 he needs a win !
I know, I still expect him to get one, yet as has been pointed out by others here as well, it’s the positioning that ruins it for him, in terms of speed and power, he could win them all - fingers crossed for stages 12 & 13
I can see that still in most previews you guys trying to put bini in the bottom of the top, actually that’s a good things it protect him from bad eyes I wish him best luck of the day based on his strong legs!
I’m the first one to sheer on Girmay for a hattrick or even better - my stars are no indication of how much I like a rider or wanting him to win, yet a prediction based on rider and team vs the given profile and finish layout
Bini wini the stage lets go bini
I’d love to see that!
Bini++ 💪💪
I’d love to see him score a hattrick
Bini 1st😊
🤞
🙂👍✌
🙏
no more mini stardes this year right?
Nope, no more white roads this year around.
@@CyclingGuy oh sadly, so more mvdp wva extra time
Bini and not Jasper will win stage 10 but go ahead with your bias.
Hehe,it’s the last time I’m calling Philipsen if he doesn’t make this one stick - not bias btw, yet facts - on the 2 former fully flat stages Jasper crashed or was ahead of Bini (yet got relegated)
@@CyclingGuy it was ahead of Bini in stage 8 also and yet Bini came from behind and beat him.
@@selfreliance8999 check, yet that was a 1km 4 to 5% uphill sprint, this one is flat
@@CyclingGuy come back here tomorrow when Bini will win. Jasper is the thing of the past. Also he’s the dirtiest rider ever. Any rider will tell you that.
@@selfreliance8999 cheers ey, my stars are no indication of liking or supporting a rider, I like most, if not all riders + it’s not for us to judge riders’ split second decisions - on top, at age 26, I expect his days to be far from over - in case you missed it, he won MSR earlier this year and came 2nd in Roubaix
Bini😌
I'm still leaning towards Philipsen for this one, yet I would love to see Bini prove me wrong
Bini for number 3 stage win
🤞I hope from the bottom of my heart he proves my Philipsen pick wrong ;-)
stage 10-nobody cares😂
I do, need another rest day to recover from Stage 9 😂
