Crazy you had issues with your remote and the display not defaulting back to original inputs I must be lucky since I haven't ran across any of those issues with mine. You are right I don't think its worth the $3500 price tag I picked mine up for way less during black Friday and I'm very happy with it the monitor so far. Hope your next monitor checks all the boxes for you.

He says it is not worth $3,500. Wonder what he does think it is worth. I plan to upgrade Q1 2024. I'm currently using a 39" 1080p 60 hz Vizio, so, won't be hard to improve upon. Maybe by then the arc will cost $2K? Worth it then? No price is worth it if it is going to suck with dead pixels and more. I am seeing Samsung 4K new QLED 55" TV at 120 Hz with Freesync at only $1K. 43" LG nano tech might be more my league at some $400 for their TV to use as a monitor.

@weldsj I'd say it worth at best 1500. I was past my return window and ended up using it at my office as a tv for visitors.

The Ark might end up being a collectors item. They went in a more logical direction with the new 8K by 4K 57" Neo G9. I have the Neo G9 49".

I went back to my 49" neo g9 and I noticed it now has a dead pixel and it's only 5 months old. I'm done with samsung monitors. As soon as the new lg oled bendable monitor is out I'm buying that.

@@darrelldarrell1447 3440px1440p is going to look a bit rough up close at 45". I know you are mad right now but the only worthy successor to the Neo G9 is the G9 OLED. My neo G9 is only 3 weeks old but they have my interest...

Returned the odyssey ark after days of trying it, pixel density is a giant HD monitor, super pixelated. Picked up a refurbished 38ultrawide Lg

Now it cost here 1899 €. Still not change it. Old on is Odyssey 49". Issue is horizontal lower resolution than 49". Prefer pay over 2000 € for Odyssey 49.

    Neo g9 is 2 2.5k monitor in a single factor . So 240 hz is ok . This monitor is 4k 165hz . So for your use u shld buy neog9 2023. 2 4k 240 .

    Is it worth for 1.6k?

For me no. If you don't already have a nice monitor then 1600 is better then 3500. They have already lowered the price everywhere to 2k.
