This is one of the cleanest installs I've ever seen, great work man
It’s probably bout $5-10k too
@@GoldenDawnLLC its more then 10k ;/
Fantastic build Matt. When you opened the trunk floor, my mind was blown! :D
Nice build, attention to details, and explanation as well. Thanks for sharing.
bro, your video got suggested from my video. You're stealing my heat!!! Lol, looks great man! Glad to see you're doing more work with the new move.
Merry Christmas, and Happy Hannaka, Matt! You are one of the best designers and installers, in the country, Scott
Pure talent!! Great work man
I appreciate it!
Magnificent as always Matt
Keep it up,
Kevin
Great job Matt. Love the stealth look!
Thanks Adam!
The work of an artist. Simply amazing.
Fantastic work, great vid as well.
Thank you Tim!
absolutely superb matt! nice one xx
Thank you!!!
Excellent work
Kind of like art, this. And thanks for finding another background track. The old one was getting on my nerves lately.
I switched it up because you are someone else mentioned it on the last video. I listen! lol
Amazing work!
Flawless like always
Thanks Robby!
Awesome job!
Thanks homie!
Outstanding.
Thanks!
Great looks good
Very nice work
Beautiful job!
Thanks!
Omg that looks clean l, good job
Very nice and clean
Awesome install! How long did the install take? I'm considering making the drive up from Tampa for you to do an install in my '12 X5
Gorgeous build! What crossover serrings did you do for the trunk subs and the under seats?
Hi Matt. Excellent work well done. I am busy installing a Mosconi PRO 5/30 in a Mercedes E350 cabriolet. I currently have a Mobridge DA3 in the car but would like to change it for a DA2 with a Mosconi 4 to 6 DSP. On the Mobridge website they recommend a DA1 if you are using an external DSP. In which case I would use Mosconi 4 to 6 SP-DIF. The owner is not worried about adding an AMAS device. I am running the amp in a front, rear sub configuration with passives on the speakers (Focal Utopia Kit No.6 Passive front and Focal Utopia 165W-RC passive in the rear. Would you go with the DA1 or DA2? Look forward to hearing from you. Best regards. Rob
Matt - great video, question with the amas 2 as a bluetooth receiver and the astel kern Aptx, the mosconi isn't? so is it really receiving apex. i really want to do this, also would have no problem running optical to mosconi from questyle/or aster kern or hard wire- aka achieve highest quality from dap. thank you learned a lot
Nice
Watching this on 2022 have you done any audio system upgrades on E70s with today’s technology?
Great Content, love this install. What are the dimensions on the sub box? Looks like a great fit!
Bump
What suggestions do you have for a BMW e60 2008, have a a kicker system that i’d like to install in my e60
Where do you get the Mobridge interfaces? Are they not readily available in the US? All the car audio shops look at me with a confused look on there face in San Diego when I mention it for my HK in my F36.
Vids background track is dope...source?
Beautiful install, but not an M. X5 with M sport trim. What manufacturer was the system in it?
Love your work. I'm trying to do my own enclosure so my question is will adding led lights in my port cause noise?
Thank you for the compliment. And to answer your question.....no, not if they are secured properly.
Aloha Matt - I would really like to find out more about this system….only challenge is that I’m in Hawaii, but if you can ship the components and take a mini-work-cation we might be able to work out a win-win. Please let me know if interested.
How much would you charge this is clean
Hey I want to upgrade my bmw 320i music system can u plz help me which product and which amplifier i use
I want you to mine the exact same way! How much was this?
Very nice work. I love how you did the install in the trunk of this car. I have a question for you however. I assume you listened to the car before and after. How do the Focal subs compare to the OEM Harman-Kardons? I have installed BMW F2x 2 Ohm Harman-Kardons on my Bimmertech (Match) PP82DSP amp at the moment and I am concidering changing them to the Focals. I have however had the Audio-System X-Ion 200 BMW subs in my previous car and they sounded not as good as the HK subs. I also tried the BMW individual subs in my current car and they also didn't sound as good as the HK's. These had better midrange but distorted easily in the low end on higher volumes. So I'm in doubt if there will be a significant change in sound to justify an additional 500€ for the Focals. Honestly I think not much more can be done with those little 8" from what the HK's allready do. I'm not installing a trunk sub so the subs do need to go as low as possible. I know some of those subs give better midrange at the cost of low end. But my goal is to get as decent a sound as possible without trunk subs. So I need a little low end from the underseat subs. Will the Focals be better for this or not? Thanks.
They sound a lot better. The OEM is really muddy. However, if you could make isolate the rattle from the seat belt tensioner (which you cannot) you could get a lot more midbass out of them.
I have a BMW X5 2008 4.8i how can I install a amp for the woofer bass?
Looks great but seems like a lot of extra weight. I wonder if he used lightweight materials.
This is insane. Big budget though I bet
Jesus christ this looks awesome....
would like to understand the process of configuring(software wise) the MoBridge... how do you separate and control the output of navigation and parking sensors..? Is it all accessible? can you do a walkthrough of that? Thank you
You can adjust the overall volume of the BT, NAV and sensors. The BT and Nav audio is automatically mixed into the front and the BU sensors are mixed into the rear already by the MoBridge.
Awesome FLAGSHIP Custom Installation
Thanks!
I wonder how many thousands did you invested in the sound system 🤔 ?
Every penny was worth demonstrating talent
How to change same DA converter in e92?
Want this done to my f83 m4
Where can i get the mobridge??? 🧐🧐
How much are we talking for this great set up?
That is awesome and I bet you that wasn't due to do neither How much did it cost to client to build it for you to build it for him That is nice 😮😮😮
hey mate how much did all that cost?
Great job but wheres the spare tire? what do you recommend for lower budget e53 with dsp w/o navi I am having hardest time finding harnesses to clip on my dsp speaker harness for after market dsp amps i want an after market headunit .... with out re wiring the whole car
It didnt have a spare in that location from the factory. And who needs a spare in 2019 when you have roadside assistance free with most insurance programs. If you live in the desert, you may have an argument here.
I have a 2019 bmw x3 G01 chassis. Do those tweeters snap directly in or is there slight modification? Im currently running Bavsound PnP all around with 4 Jl woofers in the trunk. Thinking about switching the front components with the Focal es100k
little modification
Where do you located
What’s the budget for a job like this ???
I'm curious, why completely eliminate the center channel? With the obstacles of the system wouldn't a center help?
You need an upmixer for a center channel to function properly.
Hi i wanted to ask were do you download and transfer the HD music from for your Bluetooth MP3 devices ?? thank you
Hi-Res music can be purchased at HDTRACKS.COM
Where did you get the focal badges for the tweeters?? I want them for my car
We made them.
This is amazing what does this run and where are you located cause I’m bringing you my X5
We are located in Lewes, Delaware (state sales tax free state). We engineer one off audio systems for each client, so price will vary client to client based on needs and expectations.
Matt Schaeffer do you have al number and address
@@therealmatty_s I need you to custom built me a subwoofer for my X5 also (F15) in the trunk
I have a 2001 E38 BMW do you know or install any Head Unit multimedia touchscreen. They have an Avin-3 unit out there, haven't seen any DIY, Any recommendation. Thanks
You can install a double din in there with some modification. No problem.
What is that BMW branded "thing" mounted on the center left vent? I have seen those in a few videos and can't figure out what they are. (I know it's not part of the sound system)
BMW vent mounted air freshener.
I need this done to my x5. How can I set up an appointment? Please
Reach out through email. matt@musaicdesign.com
How long does the average project take to design/construct, as well as to install?
Depends on the complexity of the project. Something like this....a week and a few days.
Unbelievable...
you have to let us here your work. what does this system sound like?
delegerernt well there is only one way to do that. You would have to hear it in person.
Awesome work best I ever seen...but really on the Harman Kardon...the disrespect!!!...hope u slapped 👋 the owner
The Harmon system comes with the car....what did he do wrong?
Are the focal es100s the best ?
For 4" components....yes
How did you add the aux battery? Isolator?
The extra battery that you see in the back is an OEM battery.
Matt Schaeffer gotcha, I could have sworn I read it had an aux battery. So the stock charging system cam handle all of those Mosconi amps? Interesting.
👍🏻🙏
Sometimes you just gotta pay the man. This is one of those times.
Yup.
im working on my bmw x5 E70 2009 any help on the location of the RCA for me to get some sound going thanks man
make sure next time we can hear the sound... video for sound system with no test is just...
You want to hear the sound of this system through your iPhone speaker?? Got it.
Price range for a job similar to this with all jl audio products in a 2013 Honda Odyssey Touring
Email me at matt@sound-fx.net with specifics if you want a quote. I dont know what a similar job consists of or what JL products you want. Let alone what your goals of the system are. I need much more information.
The Devil is in the details. Easily over 10 grand system. Did he compete IASCA SQ?
BMW 4" speakers + under seats subs are so stupid.
My dad rented the new 7 series with the factory B&W system. It just sound bad.
Yup, not a fan. lol
dufonrafal that happen when you rented hahaha you have to buyit 🤣🤣 pour!
what's the point of building all that beautiful stuff when it's just gonna be hidden under the floor?
Why not? In my opinion that makes it even cooler.
Just like a classy woman, she keeps her good hidden and only shows it to people she wants 👍🏼
What you can have when you have enough money...
Just like everything else in the world.
Cowboy
You say Cowboy, yet some of your own videos show major fire hazards and shoddy work. How good is the Merc Van reverse camera install with the wire that has been burnt to strip back the sheath, did you plan to wrap another wire arround it, solder and use electrical tape to cover it (not even able to use shrink-wrap, and too lazy to follow the cabling back to the loom-plug, you could have modified the plugor even installed an intercept-plug with your extra wire so you can reverse the install later and not have to damage the stock loom.
And you have the hide to call someone elses work "cowboy".
what about the HIT setup, wiring everywhere, cable ties holding the balast just hanging from another wire-loom, you do realise that the balast is desided to be mounted flat, not just hanging in the air....
@@briantimms6528 lol... did i hit a sensitive nerve? I couldn't care less.
I've been doing it my way for over 25 yrs and never has any vehical caught fire.
Soldier wire?
Try doing that on a Mercades and you'll get "light out" faults on the dash thats why burning the insulation is the best way.
Maybe you should try stripping the wire with a wire stripper and split it in half goodluck replacing the loom.
@@briantimms6528 Einstein you can't always mount the ballasts if I've zip tied them to a wiring loom theres nothing wrong with it at all again I've had no customer's return to it causing an issue.
Also I'm not the dealer and nor do i charge dealer prices if they don't like it they can f off else where.
@@caraudiosolutions
No raw nerve at my end, I hav also been doing audio and vehicle accessory installations for around 25 yrs. I started off with wire stripping and wrapping wires with electrical tape, the installationed worked and for the most part there was zero issues from people I worked on, never had cars fail.
As I got more experience, I also learned new techniques and did cleaner installations, if there was an issue in using intercept plugs, or I had to tap a cable, I used proper designed taps, or even updated the standard loom plug so the wire I needed to tap from had mine and the factory wire in the plug.
Each person has their own way, some are cleaner than others, but I guess it's about what you pay for, and what the client expects.
If a client comes in with a 1970's Datto and wants a bluetooth head deck, your not going to charge then $10k for an install and rebuild a custom dashboard, install a huge alternator, massive deep cycle battery and charge them huge dollars, it will be slapped in for $40.
@@briantimms6528 Exactly, in U.S. car audio is big bucks its not soo much in UK.
I supply and fit parking sensors for £100 around 140 bucks, i bet there you'd charge 500 bucks.
Its hard getting money out of people here in UK as theres always people doing it cheaper then me.
So yeh.. they get what they pay for.. i never work with high amperage items max is 40amps.. so no fire hazard if you know what you're doing.
I've never even had a fuse pop on me.
красивая но нахрен не нужная работа!
