      I think the whole purpose of doing all these 'wierd' things is simply to distract the opponent. This can change the momentum of the game. The opponent may be puzzled or even annoyed at his behaviour. Sorry Meddy, it didn't work on Fritz 😂

    Kudos to Fritz for staying focused and ignoring all the distractions. Medvedev loves to pull these type of antics to distract opponents and next thing you know, he breaks back and gets in the lead.

      It's not asking much for him to behave like an adult. Everyone gets frustrated at their job, they don't respond by acting like a toddler. Luckily for Danil, he doesn't have a 9 to 5 because he would have been escorted out by security.

    With a height of 198cm, Medveve's serve is weak. Used to be way better back in 2021. This season is horrible for him, even worse than the 2022 one. Only entered one final and no other titles. Knocked out of the tournament by multiple players outside top30

    • @AlexanderArsov
      @AlexanderArsov Месяц назад

      Played two finals actually, AO and IW, but hasn't won a title since Rome 2023. Way too long for a top player. No wonder he reverts to early childhood.

    The irony that Danil's misbehaving in a group named by the ATP after the most unsportsmanlike player of all time being missed by all tut-tutting in the comments shows how little tennis idiot savants really know.

    People don't get it what it means to be under extreme pressure and not performing well. You have to turn off your brain somehow and get calmer. Playing silly is one way of doing it. You don't have many options on the court if you suddenly start doubting yourself in a match like this. Commentators just as awfully ignorant...
