Suggestion / thought...... listing is tedious but MUST be done, so..... let's say you list 20 a day (whatever #).... make pulling tomorrow's items to list, the last thing you do each day. Usually you're exhausted at the end of the day, but it's easy to grab 20 random items out of your death pile and put them on a desk so they're ready to list the next day. The first thing you do the next day is photograph and list those items (when you are fresh and have energy). That way, your set number of listings is done first thing every morning and not hanging over your head all day. If you choose to list more throughout the day, then it's just bonus, but you need to have a set number that you do 1st thing every morning. It takes two weeks to make a habit. Just a thought......
Haha yes DAVE you finally used the trash cans I sold you for how I used them. I was hoping you would try it out. I had all 3 lined up in a closet and separated club types into each bin. Drivers, woods, irons. Then I would tape sets together. Glad your getting good use out of them. Thanks for coming to the sell.
Dave your next thumbnail is gonna be your garage on fire or flooded! Get that stuff away from the water heater and the breaker box! I know space is at a premium but you are playing with fire no pun intended.
Im impressed Dave 👏 well done its so hard to figure out what works best for us ADHders when it comes to creating a functional and uncluttered space. Keeping it like that is my biggest challenge
I specifically buy Zenni because I’ve screwed myself in the past buying $300 Oakley glasses / frames and accidents destroying them. Now I order Zenni and I get like 2-3 pairs so if I break a cheap pair, I’ve got a spare.
Possible soluton for storing bats and golf clubs, make over head storage attached to ceiling and put them up there. Only need a ladder to pull them. I do that with my fishing poles since they take up valuable space in my garage. You can still use same style of storing when they were on the shelf. but put the numbers/sku on them now and put them in order. So much time wasting lookong for them.
Club storage or long stuff storage ... look up, there is metal garage suspending shelves that work awesome. Inexpensive and very sturdy. They hang from the roof, overhead door clearance, and short guys might need a 2-step ladder to reach but incredible organization! Good luck!
I've made this suggestion to Dave before. He didn't respond. I think unless somebody shows him or does it for him, he doesn't think it'll work. Boneheaded.
I feel like I’VE accomplished something when YOU’VE organized! lol How does that work? Anyway, I’m sure you feel better, it looks so good. Way to go Dave! ❤
I have always seen golf clubs in a tub or trash can ruin golf club grips. I know my opinion doesn’t matter but I saw quite a few being stuffed. Love your channel suggest it to my friends any a few have subscribed. Always the best .
@@vwager yes they have been and still do. The optical industry still considers real glass lenses to be the highest quality optical lens material available.
Makes you wonder how the recycling company came to that conclusion since it was clear to others that the #packages were not garbage? My sales are are really really slow! Wish I was going on vacation! 😔
I read on an eBay forum that if you list while on vacation mode, your items are not added to the vacation mode. Maybe check that out. Also if you accept offers while on vacation mode it has to be shipped your regular shipping time. I am not saying that this is correct, but when I heard it, I thought of you.
I store clubs in a bin also. The problem with that is they all get intertwined and you have to be careful when pulling them out to avoid damaging the grips and/or shafts.
Dave, If you don't have a plan, then the first thing you should do is just get rid of all the stuff that you absolutely don't need. If that means you toss it, toss it; if you want to give it away, then donate it, but get it out of that space. I don't know how you know what space you have to work with when there's so much stuff that you really don't need or want. Get rid of that stuff first, so you can see what you're working with. The inventory with the golf clubs - - I'm stunned that you don't know what you have! How do you know what to sell or how many of what you have is in your inventory? Are you that way with ALL of your inventory? That you don't know what you have? You remind me of young musical theater students. They want to be actors, but they don't want to learn the lines, blocking, lyrics and choreography. They just want to sing the songs they know real well...and be on stage in the limelight, but they really don't want to do the things that they would have to do in order to have a career in theater. They don't seem to understand that you can't just do it one or two times, you have to do it over and over... You have to be consistent! If your ADHD is severe then you should get someone, meaning HIRE someone, to do those things that you either don't want to do or are your weaknesses. It will save you time and money... and it will bring your stress level way down.
I'm feeling very frustrated, I went on vacation for the 4th of July returned home to Houston and I had my eBay store on time away with sales allowed and had 28 orders and had to cancel everyone because I didn't have electricity to print the label because of the hurricane.
Oh wow, that's gonna hurt. You only need a charged phone and QR code the usps will print the labels for you. Plan B use postage stamps, and hand write those labels, instead of canceling all those orders. You can then get one proof of shipping receipt for less than $2 to enter on ebay when power is back on. I don't see how you can recover from canceling that many orders. Maybe start a new account. Yikes!
Dave, may I ask how big your garage is? asking because I think mine is the same size, but u seem to get so much more in yours than I do. This is a serious question, i am not being ugly.
Clubs: what about taking a round piece of plywood to stick on top of the garbage can and drilling holes in it to stick the clubs in. Number the holes for a sku# ….or build a frame and attach a piece of plywood with holes on top.

Most of the time none of them check the weight of the package. People have sent me packages far below the actual weight. They were still delivered.
I had a 30-40lb box come to my front door with a label for 11lbs on it. And USPS didn't say a word.
Get the info from the post office, so if they come back you'll be able to show that
