    Do you think Netflix cares?

Maybe not. But we should care. Why do I think this way, because some people put an effort to become what they are today, and others just steal from somebody. Artists for example are the most often subject to be left with no money for the job they done. Not to mention some of the companies that already use AI that was trained by artists and musicians for years and who actually deleted hundreds of songs from their platform because this way they do not need to pay royalties to musicians anymore but have 100% revenue by AI that was trained by real people real artists and their works (paintings and music, photographers etc. I think that this is a very bad problem for all of us including those who do this. They just are blind to see where this will lead in five ten years. Companies are digging their grave.

Actually, from my point of view it is simpler. Think it this way: Netflix is a very known company by pretty much everyone around the world. With that in mind a company which is not that known must pay a lot of money a spend some years to be there where in this case Netflix is. But because I would say most of the companies are stingy and they do not want to pay money (they want only make money and this is another topic) they steal. From a copyright point of view, you clearly cannot say that this is a steal. But based on psychology it is clear that this new logo will resonate with people because they already know it. The company do not spend money and years' time to become known. I personally have no idea who Verizon is. But I know Netflix. Make sense now? This is just my personal opinion.
