I bought a Henry Golden Boy today and I eat everything I feed it, including CB Longs and Aquila Super Colibri. Smoothest action I've ever seen and accurate, too - right out of the box.
Looks a lot nicer than my Henry .22! I'm saving my money for either another Henry or a Saiga rifle. Congratulations on that rifle, you'll love it! I'm going to be uploading a few more videos shooting it, tried out some subsonic rounds. I bought a Henry hat and shirt just for the reason that they are made in America, which is nice they sell absolutely NOTHING made outside of the US. I remember hearing the intro music all the time as a kid, whenever that was on, we would watch it!
I bought the same Henry a month ago. I have several lever .22's my favorite thus far is the Marlin 39A carbine 1964 model, I want to shoot my new henry but its so beautiful I just haven't made that decision to make it a used rifle.
A LEVER ACTION!!!! I Love IT. OH MY, It is gorgeous!!! Nice pick up my friend!! Thank You for sharing, I got three girls gonna need something like that to get going! Take care Brother-
"Soft spot for cowboy guns" Who are you kidding, you have a soft spot for anything that goes "BANG".... lmao Beautiful gun. I have fired 1 of them, and they are a nice solid gun. The weight of it makes you know you have something in your hands, and the balance is great.
Brother, that just looks too good to shoot unless I absolutely had to. I would put that in my show case, personaly. Fine rifle there. The grandkids will be proud to inherit it I hope.
I spent about 15 minutes trying to figure out what it was from, my dad came home so I asked him, he said it was something with Clint Eastwood, so I typed that in and found it. Thanks for the reply, though.
That's funny you say that, 'cause I was thinking the exact same thing. I am not in the market for a .22 but if I was, for $400... you can't go wrong with this one.
Where exactly did you buy this rifle and the stock number? I really want to add this one to my collection. I too love the cowboy look. Can you please help? Thank you for the video, very informative. Thumbs up. Take care buddy.
i got a north west territories 30-30 gold plated rifle and a rcmp centenial 30-30 gold plated rifle..both are in the box not shot.they are sweet guns just like yor gun...
still trying to figure out what you mean by "CB's" and Ive shot a .22 since I was 9. Shorts, Longs and Long Rifles are what I know, unless there is something new
Just bought one for our son last year for his 10th birthday. He loves it...us too...shoots spot on and handles great
Henry makes a fine lever gun, no doubt about it. They are a great company to deal with. Love the intro man, spot on
Fooby...That is a gorgeous rifle! Thanks for sharing that with us. And I'll be checking the mail for a long box
I got the Marlin Model 39TDS for my girls's first rifle. They both loved it! I know your Granbabys will love the Henry, fine gun!! Y'all have fun!!
Just picked two for my boys. Had Henry do the custom engraving. They're fantastic!
Now you're talking SWEET! Very fine weapon with the smoothest action on the planet.

Nothing can beat the action of a Henry!

Have one in .22 mag. Great shooter, and when you're done, easy on the eyes. You'll be a very happy camper with this one, I'm sure.

The song is from a old Clint Eastwood movie, " The Good, Bad, and ugly".

Nice Brother...
Thank you for your kind comment, Sir...
Sweet rifle. I still have my 30-30 lever action. You just can't beat the "cool factor" of a nice lever action.
My first gun and proud of it
Hey thats my song....lol...Great looking rifle

Very cool. Although it's probably not healthy for your gun addiction. You seemed to be doing so well! Lol j/k. Good buy my friend. Thanks for sharing.

I already have all that gear. I just needed the rifle....
what is the difference between this and the regular lever action, besides the golden look of course?
Good thing I'm watching this on a video or I'd be drooling all over your new rifle! It's now 2016 and I'm sure you've shot it. How do you like it?
That sure is a nice looking chunk of metal almost too nice to shoot.
Awwe that is sweet, and you can shoot for cheap too. Q: Anyone know why the early lever actions were made out of brass?
still trying to figure out what you mean by "CB's" and Ive shot a .22 since I was 9. Shorts, Longs and Long Rifles are what I know, unless there is something new
All old western guns had style

You must really like your grand daughters. I'd get them a cricket!

oh but it's a 22.. no 30-30?
Haha, registered? You'll lose it when,"We The People" show up to take them at 3 a.m.
Go back to smoking your crack then you can stay up until 3am and get blasted for breaking and entering....
